Vivax Pros

Went great, we loved Vivax's project management style, commitment to customer service and their "no exclusions" warranty. Very responsive to calls and questions, very good about communicating before every step. Only slight complaint: the paint crew kept baging their ladders against our windows, which are expensive gas-filled windows and we had to ask our project manager to ask the guys to be more careful. Nothing broke, but it sounded awful.

Not good. 2 day job and they were ready to schedule a walk-through, but the job looked horrific. I told them come finish then we'll talk walk throughs. Some of the problems: no prep work at all, no dings filled, no scratches filled, no clean-up, paint drips, low coverage areas, doors that wouldn't close, paint removed where blue tape was, closet doors that looked like only primer was applied on edges .... you name it. It was a rush job. On a positive note, I can tell the company generally has their act together. Great sales, good communication, but I got a bad crew. You don't have to pay until you're satisfied, but I was willing to write a check just to call it a lesson learned. Our crew leader is a nice, likeable guy which makes it difficult to rate poorly. This is the first time an A list Angies list provider has failed me. I'm not a picky customer, and generally too forgiving. I'm sure they do some very great work but I just didn't get lucky this time.

The paint job is excellent, however, I approved the wrong color. The project manager has been very helpful in getting my house repainted the color that my wife wants.

Vivax is a great company to work with. We began the process of getting our house painted by getting bids from a number of companies. Vivax was not the least expensive company nor were they the most expensive. We decided to go with them for a number of reasons. The first and foremost reason we chose Vivax was that online reviews from this site and others were all positive. The other reason that we decided to go with Vivax is for their warranty. Their warranty is and quot;if you (the client) think it's a warranty issue we'll fix it. No questions askedand quot;. Everything I found in my research confirmed that they actually mean what they say. Working with Vivax was extremely easy. My wife and I selected the paint colors and Vivax took care of the rest. They coordinated with our HOA to get the colors approved on our behalf. We needed to have the paint job done by mid-April and Vivax was able to move a few things around to accommodate our schedule. In fact, Bobby the project manager knew that we were on a short timeframe and was actually able to get us in a week earlier than planned. When the crew arrived to paint our house we did a walkthrough to ensure that everyone was on the same page. Once the painting started, the crew made sure that all non-painted surfaces (sidewalk, driveway, windows, etc.) were protected from any paint. Overall the crew did a great job painting the house. During the final walk through with Bobby we did notice a few little items that needed to be fixed. One major item was that the trim needed to be repainted. We have a dark base color and a white trim. In the right light, the base color was showing through. Without hesitation Bobby had the crew repaint all of the trim on the house. Overall my wife and I were very satisfied with Vivax Pro. Everyone at the company throughout the process was easy to work with and was dedicated to a good customer experience. I would recommend Vivax Pro to anyone that asks.

In the end everything went well and I feel good about the services that were performed. I received quotes from multiple companies and of all the companies that I dealt with, Vivax was definitely the only on that really had their act together. I was never unsure of what my next steps were and the company was very clear about what services would and would not be performed. After the painting was completed I was a little irritated because it was pretty obvious that the job was done and completed in a rush. There were some drips and the yard was still a mess. They setup an appointment 1 week after completion to do a walk-through with me and collect payment. I was ready to talk about my concerns and everything, but the team showed up well before our scheduled appointment and took care of everything I was worried about before I even got the chance to communicate it to them. They were certainly not the least expensive company I met with, but I feel that the money spent matches the quality of work and the attentiveness of all people involved with my project. They also have a very accommodating policy about imperfections and touch-ups that need to happen after you've had some time to live with the new paint. If you spot something three months later, they'll come out and take care of it.

I found Vivax Pro Painting to be very competitive price wise and super responsive to my needs, even ones I didn't know I had. They assign a foreman to the job and he follows up on every detail. They call you the day before the power wash, just to re-confirm that they are coming. They arrive when they say they will and have great follow up all during the job. They make notes when you do the initial walk around, then follow up after the job is done and inspect the entire house and especially the notes you gave them in the beginning. They caulked spots that I didn't even see and the paint on my house looks like is was all hand brushed--they did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very good communications. Kept us informed of all their plans. Advised us on what we needed to do to get ready. Very prompt. Asked about our concerns. Incredibly fast. Woodwork took only a few hours. Painting the entire house in three days. Crew was very respectful and friendly. Cleaned up well after themselves. Very pleased with the outcome. House looks great.

They painted my house. Did a terrible job. Was told I'm a priority in getting my house done and fixed. Still trying to get it done two months later. They say no payment until customer is 100% satisfied. I'm not satisfied and they demanded payment. When my friend called to cancel after seeing what I have gone through they told her my house was just old. They also said they did the job to their standards but couldn't meet my standards. My advice is to go with someone else.

I highly recommend Vivax Pro painters. Aaron Crain and his crew in Longmont, CO did a wonderful job on my house. They gave me a fair estimate -- followed up with a call from the company headquarters to schedule my painting -- got a very reasonable date (not too far out) -- didn't have to put down a deposit to reserve the date. Then, when the painting started, the crew was very nice and skilled and did a wonderful job. Lots of time in the prep work - which is always a good thing. I've gotten many compliments on my house painting job. They cleaned up thoroughly and did several walkarounds of the house with me throughout the process to make sure things were progressing as I desired. If I ever saw anything that needed work, I could point it out and they'd take care of it that day. And they made sure things were just right. My front door was a bit of a challenge to paint, and they just kept at it with several coats and processes (sanding, etc) until it looks just right. I never could have gotten it to look as good as they did. Thank you Aaron and your crew. You did a great job! Oh, and a special shoutout to Jorge on your crew -- the lead painter -- he was exceptionally friendly and professional. :-)

Company was responsive and professional; they satisfied all of their promises and my wishes; they are honest and completely trustworthy. Riota, the site manager was very easy to work with and did a terrific job keeping me informed at all times and delivering as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing roofing work.

Completely re-roofed my turn of the 20th century home and garage including removing the old roofing (including the original shake shingles) installing new deck and shingles, flashing etc. Roof is 12:15 steep and has lots of peaks and valleys.

We've used Vivax to paint two of our houses and put a new roof on one of the houses. They have always been so professional, efficient, and their bid always comes in very competitively. Great customer service. Some of the best I've experienced.

Vivax Pro was great! We got contact information at the Home and Garden Show and have been very pleased with this company. Our project manager, Glen, was very friendly, helpful, and responsive during the entire process. We were delayed with the work a few days but that was due to the constant rain Denver was getting. Once the work started, the crew was very friendly as well. They took the time to answer any question I had about the process. After each day of painting they would clean up the job site, much to my satisfaction. The crew was also very good at doing any touch up work needed and doing it quickly. I would highly recommend this company for exterior painting. I know they do window work as well so will be calling them when that time comes.

The first meeting was for an estimate. It was very informational and very professional. She actually gave me more information than I would have thought to ask. The second meeting was for a color consultation. She was very patient and helped us pick our color combination. Throughout the whole process I received emails reminding me of color deadlines and also laying out the timeline for the work that was going to be performed. They power washed the entire house prior to beginning any work. I then had a walk through with the project manager. The paint crew was extremely professional and cleaned up every evening when they were finished. We then finished with another walk through with the project manager to inspect the work and see if any spots were missed. I would definitely recommend them! They were professional and great to work with from start to finish!! Hard to find this in today's world!

Vivax was an excellent company to work with and I will use them in the future. They were very responsive and proactive in setting appointments to go over the job details. On every occasion we had to meet they were on time and professional in appearance. The price was a bit higher than some other quotes we received but after checking them out on Angies List and through the Better Business Bureau we felt they were the ones to do our houses. They do use subcontracted painters but the crews have been working with them for years. They were very quick taking only two days to prep and paint two houses and were even early today for the final touch ups. Houses look great (already have had comment from lady walking a dog). I have no reservations about leaving this positive evaluation of their company. Very happy with the job!!

I was really pleased with the price and work that this company provided. They were very fast yet thorough. I used them several years ago and have since moved to a new (to me) home. This home is due to be painted and I plan on calling Vivax again.

I had picked a color based on a paint chart from a different company than was being used and the first samples we had mixed by the paint company we were using matched the chart but we were not fond of the colors with our brick so I went and bought a small sample of another color which we liked better. Since the company which was actually supplying the paint had correctly matched the same based on the name and numbers of the other company for the first samples, I just called those in. The Vivax foreman strongly recommended I go purchase a gallon from the company providing the paint prior to them beginning so there would be no mistake. Thankfully I followed his suggestion because this time it did not match. The paint supplier was able to match the color we had picked and all was well. If not for the due diligence of the Vivax foreman, we would not have been happy with the color. The painters arrived promptly and nearly completed the job in one day. They came back early the next morning, finished and cleaned up. The painters were polite, courteous and worked very hard. The house looks great. Vivax did not request any payment until the job was complete and we were satisfied.

They were reliable, helpful did what they said they would. Their price was competitive.

The estimate was done on a Saturday which was very convenient for us. The estimate was fair compared to other estimates we had and they came recommended by one of our customers. We hired them the next week but that was the week we received our annual rainfall in 7 days. They were able to pressure wash one day and get the scraping and caulking done during that week. They began painting on Tuesday and were done on Wednesday. During the inspection, they touched up areas I did not even notice. They also put everything on my patio back where it belonged, swept up everything including some leaves that had been on the ground for a few weeks that had nothing to do with the painting project. The Project Manager was in touch with us every day. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone we know.
