The estimate process was great.  I was getting quotes that were all over the place so when I called Last Mile, Jeff said he would come down and give me an in home estimate.  He was really nice and I moved forward with hiring them to help us with our move because he went out of his way to earn my business.  We were told that the movers would arrive between 8-9 on our moving day.  We were quoted 4 movers for 6-8 hours to get the job done.  Two days before our move, Jeff called and asked if it would be okay if the movers showed up later in the morning like 11-12ish.  He said it was possible that they would still be there between 8-9 or that it might be 11-12.  Not ideal, but we said okay.  After all, what could we do at that point?  On the day of our move by 11:00 we hadn't heard anything about what time we were going to get started.  At 12 I called and Jeff said they would be on their way shortly and he would have the movers call me soon.  By 12:30 still no call.  We called again and Jeff said he would make sure they called when they were on their way.  Around 1:00 they called and said they were on their way.  The movers arrived around 1:45.  Instead of 4 guys like were were quoted only 3 were available for us that day.  As soon as they arrived they all worked really hard to get the job done.  It took about 5 1/2 hours to get all the furniture and boxes packed on the truck.  Then it took about 3.5 hours to get it unloaded at the new house.  The movers did work really hard for us and never took any breaks.  They barely stopped for water breaks!  But I was not happy that our start time was so delayed.  It was a long day and they didn't finish until 10:30 that night.

They were really good.  They were very good and very careful.  They were very courteous and reasonably priced.  They were very punctual and very careful with our furniture.  The staff was very nice to work with.  They moved the whole house for me.  Their price was very fair.

They charged me $ 75 an hour for 2 guys. The 2 gentlemen that did the move knew very well what they were doing. They did a very fine job efficiently, quickly and safely. They did a well done job all around. I would use them again in the future.

They moved the furniture. I left all the stuff and there were furniture, they just wrapped it up and moved it. I think I found them on the internet. I found that they were on Angie’s List, so I decided I should try Angie’s List to find out what was on there, in case there were other things I needed. The owner contacted me and we made a plan for when they would come and approximately how much it would be. Everything went like as he said. They showed up in the morning. They showed up on time, it was snowing and they did a great job. They moved the furniture that I had and they set it up. They were gone in just a couple of hours. I would use their services again in the future.

The guys were great.  Arrived on time and in good spirits.  They worked hard with out a break.  The whole move took 4 1/2 hours and that included getting stuck in traffic along the way because of an accident.  The only thing that kicked off the day on a negative was this....The quote I got from Jim, the owner was for two guys, the truck and all the equipment for $75 and hour with an additional 1 hour trip charge and $50 fule charge.  When the guys showed up, there were 3 of them.  The lead guy said the rate was going to be $89 instead of the $75.  I told him that was not what I had agreed to and would call Jim.  As I was calling, the lead guy said he would not charge me the extra amount and not to worry about it.  I would just get the extra guy at no charge.  As it turned out, I never got hold of Jim to ask about the switch with out approval and he never returned my call or called to see how the move went.

We made our move 8/5/11.  We had to change our moving date serveral times and Jeff Annett the President of Last Mile Moving Solutions was very helpful and curtious.  I enjoyed working with him.

On the day of our move the crew (Jeff, Tray , Alfredo, Purving and Jose) showed on time ready to work and never stopped until the jobe was done.  All the while they were courtious, friendly and professional.   They worked very well together never missing a beat.    We would recommend this company.

It was a very good move. They estimated 3-4 hours to load up and they did it in 2. Fast workers and they were very careful with all our stuff. Two other neighbors ended up using them!

The owner contracted the moving guys and then they charged me $150 for some customary things. So I wasn’t too happy after the fact. The contract drivers did tell me about the extra and they really intimidated for a tip of $50 each and I feel that it was really displeasing. The owner never called me again to find out whether everything went on smoothly. I will never go back to them. I think that owners should get back to the customers but he didn’t. They also damaged few things. I thought I should forget it. I would never call them again. They did a good job overall. They were here early.

I had a difficult time finding a mover to pick up furniture in one state and move it to an adjoining state. I was coordinating the move of furniture from Denver to Laramie, all from South Carolina. Jeff was most professional and helpful - he gave me an honest estimate, which was adhered to, and the move went smoothly. I will use this company again!

THE MOVE WENT SMOOTH. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND FINISHED ON TIME. THEY WERE CAREFUL AND WORKED IN A BRISK PACE AND COMPLETED ON TIME. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND NO FUNNY BUSINESS AT THE END OF THE MOVE WITH ADDING ON ANY EXTRAS. THIS IS A COLORADO COMPANY AND I SPOKE WITH THE OWNER THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS  AND HE FOLLOWED UP THE NEXT DAY. I WILL USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE ELSE WHO IS MOVING

Overall it went great. They workers came on time each day, worked diligently, were all very nice fellows, worked hard, and took care of my stuff. They packed my whole house and moved it cheaper than I have gotten quotes for before to just move. I have never had anyone pack my house up before and I simply could not believe how efficient they were in packing and how they did it in three (3) hours.....I usually take a week to pack the same stuff!

It was residential moving. They first gave me an estimate and worked within the time frame of the estimate. Their work was satisfactory.

They charged me by the hour. They estimated six hours, but only took four hours. They give you a quote over the phone with what you tell them over the phone. They were quick and professional.

Jeff Annett (Owner) and Paul Gregory (Estimator) came out to the house to give a free estimate. I had already had estimates from a lot of other companies (Mayflower, United Van Lines, All My Sons, Cowboy and 7 others). The other guys ranged from $3-5,000. Paul said that the other guys quote a local just as though they are doing an interstate move, but that he prefers to quote a local like a local. He gave a "Not-to-Exceed" quote of $1330 for the move (4 movers two trucks one day) and $590 for packing (all materials all items 2 guys same day as the move). They accepted Credit card and were very responsive to all my questions. They bent over backward to make us happy. They brought us out some boxes and allowed us to start the packing process prior to move day (we requested this). On Move day they guys showed up, laid out protection (runners on the floors and padding on the walls, and started loading up the truck. We found out that there would only be one truck due to mechanical problems, but there was a full crew of six men (plus Mr. Annett packing aiding the packers made 7). The truck loaded smoothly and quickly and while the packers remained busy the movers and I traveled to the new house to unload. The men ran like an oiled machine and I (being the type that hates to simply observe) had to get out of the way in order not to slow progress. On the way back our group stopped to pick up a quick lunch, as the other group had a break while we were unloading, and ate en route back to the other house. When we arrived, the packers had staged most items in the front of the house where the movers instantly started loading it into the truck. Everything went great until they tried to move a queen sized bed from the basement. The box springs didn't quite fit up the stairs (it went down while we were having the basement finished and the contractors moved it in). One of the movers, James, asked how it got down there and I informed him that the contractors probably "just pushed" it in. He took this as instruction and muscled it around the stairs doing a small amount of drywall damage. I tried to get ahold of Mr. Annett right away (as he left for an appointment at 2pm) but was unable. After consulting with advisors I decided to pay them and pursue the matter further afterward. My wife went with the second truck while I cleaned the old house. We have not yet completely unpacked, but are nearing the 90% mark, and have found only minimal damage (one out of about 40 antique glasses, no dishes, a nick out of a collectible tea pot and one piece of glass). We were billed and paid $1960 for the entire move. But after contacting Mr. Annett we were able to explain that the bill was higher due mainly to the lack of a second truck and negotiated the price down to $1770 (the maximum for the move and the billed amount of the packing $390 [less due to the packing we had already done]). He also paid $150 for the drywall damages. All went very well.
