Barry did a complete and professional job with our water heater and plumbing inspection. He carefully explained some issues that need to be addressed, the cost and how best to proceed.

I've started regularly using Doctor Fix-It to perform our annual furnace and A/C tuneups. Just had them come out again this past Monday, and my technician Joel was awesome. He checked out everything, showed clear photos of what he did and explained everything in clear detail. There was absolutely no pressure to perform any unnecessary repairs, and they even have a great All Stars program that helps both you and a great charity. I highly recommend you consider using these guys to get your furnace and A/C tuneups performed.

Brent was excellent. He took extra effort to explain everything he did, including replacing the fan motor (which was under warranty) and why. These are my “go to” guys!!

Cristian did a bang up job. Dr. Fix It is always on time (sometime early!) and do a very thorough job. They've done a ton of work on our home, and they always do great work.

Eli, did a very thorough job in checking all of my plumbing and completing the flushing of my water heater. He also provided me with an estimate to install a water softener as well as fixing a couple of hose leaks under two sinks. Eli was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I use Dr. Fix It for all of my plumbing, Heating and AC needs. They're great!

Great service, professional and polite. Julian Estrada was my installer. Julian and his assistant worked until 10:30 pm to make sure the work was done so we would not be without heat or hot water thru the weekend. I'm very pleased with the work and the service that was done. They made sure my house was clean before they left. I would recommend them to anyone in the future and I would use them again. Ule Alfaro was my sales rep. and he made sure I was taken care of and he bent over backwards to make sure my demands were met and made me completely comfortable and insured me that they would take good care of me. Ben was very professional and explained exactly what he was doing/seeing in our furnace. He told us our options and fixed the problem. Everyone I dealt with from making my appointment through getting our furnace fixed was kind and helpful.

When they first came to repair my heater, they said it needed to be replaced. They said they could replace it that day and I would have heat that night. However, they were not able to get a necessary part and I did not have heat that night. They were to come to fix it the next day. They changed the first service window without asking me, then apparently canceled the service without telling me. They showed up on the third day and were able to complete the work. On the fourth day the heater didn't work. I called to ask for service and was told that no one could be there until the ninth day. On the ninth day they missed their service window, on a Friday, so I am hoping to have my new, very expensive heater working within 11 days of the day I bought it. I am trying to see if I can return the heater. When I have called everyone has told me they "understand my frustration." I would prefer that they would step up on their satisfaction guarantee

Eli, took only 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and fix it. He was professional and courteous.

Very quickly, Much quicker than proposed on the estimate, less work needed than suggested on the estimate, all three Dr. Fixit workers were very professional, Appreciated it being done on Saturday for my tenant. I am waiting for a report of the work to keep in my files for this rental unit. Much appreciated!!!

You would think I would learn. Got a water heater replacement at the last minutes, it had been a while so I was not sure the price and trusted these people. Big mistakes, talking to friends and getting quotes, they charged me about 50% more than the going rate and what my friends paid for the same service. When I called for an explanation, they would not break out labor and the cost of materials, which should indicate what type of operation these guys are running. Seriously, who does not break out materials and labor, pretty shady. They tried to defend their high prices due to their warranties. Great thanks, and extra $700 for a 6 year warranty on a water heater last 15 years. And the furnace they tried to pressure me to replace 2 years ago, is working like a champ. My guess is there techs (who are really nice) are working on commission. But nice techs are not worth the 50% up charge. They failed the city inspection 2 times, awful experience

It turned out very well. I had called another outfit and the reason I called Dr Fix It because we get mailers with coupons from them., I got a coupon for the other outfit but they were not able to come out so I called Dr. Fix-it and they came out within an hour. I was very pleased with their speed of getting here. It was probably a Friday night, so it was after normal business hours. They did the job very well and very neatly. They didn't leave a mess at all. They cleaned up. I was very happy with them. The pricing was really good.

Beware... My senior parents had a problem with the furnace and called "Dr. Fix It". A technician claimed that all equipment (including the air-conditioner!) has to be changed. Then he issued an estimate, which included changing the furnace and water heater (apparently he forgot about the conditioner) for $11K (!) He opened the furnace and took some parts with him when he left; I assume to prevent my parents from contacting another contractor. I called the office and complained. As a result, the guy fixed the furnace w/o replacing it for $700 with a 2-year warranty, but he was late by a day while my parents suffered from low temp in the house. These shameless people are preying on senior citizens trying to rip them off!!!

I was given one price if he had the part in his truck, and the other $101.00 dollars more if her had to go get the part. He found the part in his truck and he was done in 1/2 hour, which was great. Than when I saw the receipt on line, I was charged the higher price. I called the office and was told I had to talk to Joseph himself. I called him and he said he would have to contact the office to make the adjustment and they would get a hold of me. Surprise.... I never heard from anyone.
