Amazing Moves Moving & Storage

If you don't know this already, the moving and storage business can be scam-ish and fraught with all kinds of bad stuff. Amazing Moves should be held up as the beacon of integrity and quality in the moving business. Kenny and his team were remarkable, professional, polite, energetic and they actually seemed like they liked doing what they do! And if you've never seen movers haul your stuff to their truck and then RUN back to the house every time, it's worth hiring Amazing Moves just for that. The cool thing is that they will literally take and move anything you have. One BIG tip that we followed...be PACKED and FINISHED (unless you're hiring them to do that for you) before they arrive. Our bid dropped considerably because we were prepped and they were pleased with our preparation! I wish this company a long, long, long and prosperous business life. They are the best. You'd be absolutely remiss in going with anyone else (and yes, I got bids from several movers). They aren't the highest and they aren't the lowest price, but I will tell you, if you want a group who will help you avoid heartache during one of the most stressful times of life, they are worth every single penny and the tip you give them on top. Thanks Amazing Moves for living up to your name.

Killian and his team did a great job! They arrived a half hour early and were very courteous. They were running from room to room loading up our furniture with care. I would definitely recommend them.

They’re great, fantastic and we used them for home and office moving many, many times. We always use their service. I don’t think they’re the cheapest but they’re always really, really good, super professional and they handle everything with care. I enjoy working with them everything and they’re super reliable. They moved my house three times and they moved my husband’s office five times for different reasons for 10 years and we've been using their service for 10 years.

I contacted Amazing Moves after seeing them rated 'A' on Angie's list. In fact I subscribed to Angie's list only to find some good & highly rated moving professionals, as i have had a pretty bad experience with some of the local movers who show utter lack of responsibility, lack of passion for their work, looking for tips and not adhering to what is promised to the client. After sorting the search results to just top rater 3-4 movers, i contacted Amazing Moves and was put on touch with Mr. Lucas. Lucas visited my house for a quick survey and to quote me the rates. The price from Amazing Moves was in the same ball-park numbers like other local and bigger moving companies. Money was not an issue for me, however peace of mind was of utmost importance. Yes, peace of mind. After the contract was signed with Amazing moves and the advance money paid, the movers from Amazing Moves came right on given time and immediately got to work. The team of 3 movers lead by Conner was simply amazing, very hard-working. They were very soft speaking young folks, who amazed me with their speed of packing my household stuff. Honestly i can be pretty mean to people not keeping their part of the promise with an uncanny ability to kick them out, if i do not like their work, but these guys true to their image won my heart. My family was very happy with them and we were in our heart thanking our fortune to get out the worth of subscribing to to Angie's list and finding this company. The guys were done all packing within 6 hours....and then they came right on time again the 2nd day with 4 people crew to move all the stuff to my new house. Well what can i say.....they just ran and did the things. I was afraid that perhaps in hurry they might destroy things so i perhaps tried to slow them down....but my fears were unfounded. They were really very careful with the stuff. Somehow one of my expensive side tables legs got destroyed. I will call it just bad luck.....They were done moving all the stuff to the new house in matter of about 5 hours. They left to come back 3rd day with 2 people crew and unpacked everything in jiffy...perhaps 3 hours at the max. Impressive speeds, good working ethics, total professionalism and permanent employees is what sets Amazing Moves apart from other mom-pop type of Moving Companies. After all said and done, I was very very happy with the services provided by Amazing Moves. They took my side table to get it repaired and did the job very satisfactorily. I was concerned that the fixing of the table may not turn out to be that good, since Amazing moves had already taken money from me and now i was on their mercy...but boy, was I wrong? Sarah, Lucas made sure that I was updated on the status... For the first time perhaps I have been so happy with the services provided to me by a moving company. I highly recommend these guys. Certainly if you are fair to the business, you can't go wrong with these guys. Even though i do not look forward to moving again and again, but if it came to that.......Amazing Moves will be my first Choice... Thanks Bill for keeping permanent employees and keeping them happy. The movers arrived exactly on time. They sent three people with one being in charge. They were extraordinarily professional and very respectful and pleasant. I showed them exactly where the piano was and where I wanted it moved to which included a step down. The one in charge walked me through exactly how they were going to handle it and sent one of his crew out to the truck to get formica that they could lay out to absorb the rollers. The other moved several items of furniture to give them a path. He was very careful. The one in charge explained to me that they had done this type of move before and calmed any concerns that I may have had. The two crew members then laid out the formica and rolled it to the the step down. The one in charge was constantly directing and letting the two crew members know how to move and when. At the step down they picked up the piano and the one in charge directed them with a code so the knew when to step off the step and how high they needed to hold the piano until both were on the same level. They then moved it into place. They picked up the formica and dusted the floor where it had been laid. I was asked several times if there was anything else they could do and if I was satisfied. They then left with each member thanking me and shaking my hand. The entire move took fifteen minutes and was done without any incident. I could not have been happier.

The crew was amazing -on time, friendly, and very professional. Knowing we were under time constraints and needed them to finish so the new furniture could be delivered, these guys RAN back to the truck to get load after load. They wrapped our furniture for the move like it belonged to them. We will be using them again - I could not have been more impressed!

Excellent job! These guys were RUNNING from the truck back into the house! We had a pretty complicated move with items going to 3 different locations and they did everything perfectly. Everything was wrapped, boxed or crated to our specifications and there was not a single scratch, smudge or broken item. The crew was very professional, worked hard and got everything done faster than I expected. I would definitely use them again.

Wow! Just.... Wow!! I don't even know where to begin. These guys were clearly amazing, and then some! We were so impressed that we have already referred them to many MANY people! The first time they moved us there were 3 guys and 1 truck. They arrived right on time and were super friendly! After showing them what was being moved and what was being left they began working right away. Attention to DETAIL! If things weren't packaged good enough, they would wrap it better or add layers of tape, just to make sure our items were safe. I didn't really buy into the other reviews stating that they ran to and from the truck, but OH MY GOSH they do! ALL DAY! Ahh, to be in shape. They worked great as a team and worked VERY efficiently helping each other and communicating! Were very careful with the bigger items as to not ding our walls or scuff our floors. I hadn't been able to pack up all our items in the basement by the time we hired them so asked if they wouldn't mind adding that to the list of things they were already doing. They did it without any hesitation! What would have taken me a couple days to do... they did in less than an hour!! I went down there to check on them only to find out that they were almost done! Later when I opened the boxes I was so impressed at how well/neat/organized all the items were.... so they definitely didn't half a** it. Wow. After unloading everything into our new house (each box in the right room) they were still upbeat and cleaned up after themselves and even asked us what more they could do?! The second time they moved us was about a month and a half later. This crew was 4 guys and 2 trucks. I liked the guys so much from the first move that I was a bit afraid that these guys wouldn't be quite as awesome. However, these guys were JUST as good! Showed up 10 minutes before 8am and worked just as efficiently as the first crew! One guy it seemed was having a bad day so he didn't talk really at all, but his work spoke for itself! I had to ask for a few empty boxes to pack up some last little things while they were in the middle of moving our heavy furniture and one of the guys literally stopped what he was doing to go get me boxes, tape, and packing paper... even helping me tape the boxes together. I was floored. I told him I wouldn't have minded going to get them myself but he acted like it was no big deal at all! These guys ran to and from the truck all day as well and this was an all day 8-6 job! Wow. Now, There were a couple of big things (a canopy bed) that was in NO way going up to the second floor bedroom but the guys walked around the house, going out on the decks to try and figure out how to get that bed in the house, eventually finding a way! (Hoisting it up over a deck and thru some double doors). We of course didn't let them do that as that bed was old and just wasn't worth the hassle. But they would have spent an hour getting it done which is really impressive!! Most companies (from past experience) would have just tried getting it up the stairs inside and then deciding it wouldn't be possible. They were incredibly patient and HELPFUL! I wish I could remember all the guys' names who helped out during our move because each of them deserve praise and thanks! They were all incredible, knowledgeable about packing and moving, friendly and I can't believe how many times I've talked about how amazing you all are!!! I seriously have nothing bad to say about this company. From the initial estimate to the very end, they were on it. Some people may think they are a bit pricey but I would pay 3k again and again. We will NEVER use another moving service after experiencing what we experienced with Amazing Moves!! We used them twice for a reason!

After setting up and appointment for an estimate,Jessica arrived at my house exactly as scheduled. She did the walk through, asking questions and noticing things that I would have missed. After sending me a quote, I had to change some items ( I thought I could manage all of the packing, but realized that I would need help packing up the garage with all of my husbands tools and supplies, and some interior closets) I called Amazing Moves and asked for the changes to be noted to my account. The team was scheduled for arrival at my house at 8:00 a.m.. I was warned by quite a few people not to expect any movers to arrive on time. Well, at 8:00 am on the nose, two trucks from Amazing Moves pulled in front of my house !! I was met by Russell, who took the time to introduce himself and the members of his team. We then did the walk through, and the work began. Russell, Braxton,Stevon, Ben and Wes were quick, respectful, clean and efficient. Everything was packed with care, and according to schedule. We moved across town, and arrived just when Russell said we would. The team members checked in with me through out the day, making sure that furniture and boxes where placed where I needed them. The items that were packed by Amazing moves were packed carefully and clearly labeled. There were a few things in the garage that needed to be rearranged, and Russell took care of the changes with a smile. I have recommended Amazing Moves to my friends and colleagues; this company raises the bar for service in the moving industry !!

The week before the move date, I called Leah and asked that the moving boxes be dropped off five days before the scheduled move date. It was my intention to do as much packing as possible but Amazing Moves understood that I may not get everything done by myself and agreed that the professionals would pack whatever I could not finish by myself or that was better packed by the professionals ( ie artwork, lamps, wardrobe boxes, etc.) They dropped off boxes, paper, tape and I got busy... With pink stickers, I labeled each of the boxes that were to be moved and tied pink ribbons on the furniture to be moved. I also put blue "Do Not Move" stickers on the furniture and boxes that were being picked up by family members or being donated. The day of the move, Braxton, Kevin, Tyler and Mike arrived at ten minutes to 8 am. Right on time and ready to work. They got the truck set up and had to go out the patio door and across a grass courtyard to the truck. I have never seen movers RUN from the truck to the house before. They were personable, professionally attired, and very efficient. Some of Dad's furniture is pretty old and a little rickety, but they got it all moved without any damage. They packed the glass table tops, artwork, lamps, wardrobe boxes, padded the furniture and carried all the previously packed boxes of books, treasures, and bathroom and kitchen supplies and had everything loaded by 10:15 am. They arrived at ParkPlace, unloaded everything, placing it exactly where I asked. They were done at 12:15 pm for a total of 5.75 hours including travel time. The total bill was $949.00 on the credit card. Dad tipped each of the guys $20 apiece. I do not hesitate to recommend Amazing Moves.

Went very well (except for underestimating how much time it would take). Guys were extraordinarily polite and good-natured, careful with our furniture and house, and kind to the dogs.

My overall experience was not good. I used them to move my fiurniture into storeage then move it out to a home. The estimate I received was for $1200 and I had to pay $2400. There was no adjustment, the estimator said he did a lousy job of estimating and left it at that.

I had a horrible customer service experience with Amazing Moves. I spoke with Brian Moore on June 26th to schedule a move in July. We agreed on an available date and he sent me over an estimate. I faxed in my approval the next morning on the 27th and called to verify/pay the deposit. The receptionist asked if she could help me and I explained that I was working with Brian and wanted to confirm my move. She said she wasn't able to help me and to leave a voicemail with Brian which I did. On Friday (2 days later), Brian emails me to let me know that my date is no longer available because it was filled by other sales people in his absence. I would have expected a response from someone at the company confirming my fax and accepting my deposit in Brian's absence.

They did a great job. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional on the phone and in person. The crew was always on time, polite, and worked hard. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent, everything in one piece and placed where we wanted it. The crew made the move. It was a hot day, and we have a lot of stuff, and a lot of heavy stuff. Even at the end of the day when they were getting tired and grouchy they were still pleasant and literally running in and out of the house, I'd have passed out or died hours before.My only complaint, they estimate over the phone and not in person, I actually preferred this until we ran out of room on the truck leaving us to make many extra trips by car. Maybe they don't have a bigger truck and it's a moot point, but other companies I've used and been less pleased with came out for an in person estimate and we had room. Believe me, the crew did absolutely everything in their power to get our stuff on that truck, every fraction of an inch was utilized and they were taking cell phone pics of the full truck, so I can't fault the crew AT ALL. The 3 guys were fantastic and all of our stuff was moved with care and zero damage to the walls, even going down to the basement with large and heavy items. Which reminds me, if they had come out in person they'd have seen they needed an appliance dolly for a heavy safe and a refrigerator, maybe another moot point as they certainly got the job done.

Amazing Moves recently moved us from our sold home to a smaller apartment temporarily. The crew arrived on time, quickly familiarized themselves with what was coming with us and what was being stored, and organized everything accordingly. They wasted no time and we were loaded up and ready to roll by noon. We made 1 stop at storage and arrived at our apartment late afternoon. All of our belongings were carefully packed, transported, unpacked, and placed in our new home with the same great care. Kyle, Tyler and Daniel did an "amazing" job and were as delightful and energetic at the end of a long day as they were when they arrived early that morning!

The best mover we have ever used! We have used 3 movers in the last 5 years and none of them were half as good. Showed up on time and finished early. They literally run back and forth from the truck.

They were a little expensive but they did a great job.

The quote was very competitive & really close to the other company we got a quote from. They showed up on time with a professional/friendly/hard working crew. They were having a slight problem with one of their trucks that morning & called me promptly to tell me they were getting another truck from one of their other locations & may be a little late. Anyway, they worked straight through, with a short lunch break & got us all moved in! We were very happy with their work ethics & professionalism. We would recommend them to anyone who is moving!

I spent about $2800 on their services. I will absolutely use their services again in the future.

Efficient and courteous team. Organized, took great care of our things. Took great care moving in. No damage just a few scuffs. They did lose a custom lampshade however we had purchased the insurance and this was replaced so all ended very well. We would absolutely use this company again and recommend to friends.

They were excellent. They did a great job, got here on time and they just did it perfectly. Their price was competitive and good. They were really good.

From their first customer contact, through the packing and loading, to the post-move walk-through, the Amazing Moves crew was professional, courteous, and meticulous. Example: we have a fifty-year-old Lacy Tree Philodendron plant, four feet tall or so and sprawling, extremely heavy and a nightmare to move - and they managed it just fine, slowly, very carefully, and with painstaking care. They began and finished on time - early, in fact -- and they literally ran up and down our stairs as they packed. Every piece of furniture they moved was unpacked and meticulously reassembled exactly where I requested. Every member of the crew was friendly and respectful. The owner met with us to do the initial quote, and the ending cost was well within his estimate. We have lived all over the U.S., and this is the fastest, easiest, and least stressful move we have experienced anywhere. I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, I'll definitely call them.
