Tom's Sprinkler

I liked the quality. When I used them, they were probably here 4 hours.

I had a one sprinkler nozzle that wasn't working and wanted another one raised.  Tom showed up right on time and got right to work.  He not only performed the repairs I needed, he went the extra mile and checked out my entire system.  He replaced several more nozzles he noticed were  flaky and adjusted them all for proper coverage.  He told me it was $50.00 to come out and $5.00 for parts.  I expected the cost to be higher so I was really pleased with the work performed and the low cost. It would have taken me days to do the work myself.  Tom did everything in an hour.

Tom showed up on time, got right to work troubleshooting and repairing the problem, then tested all zones to verify their operation. I would highly recommend him.

It went great. I had a major problem in 2 of 4 sprinkler zones. Tom efficiently diagnosed the problems and made the repairs. He is a pleasant person. He showed me where the problems were and checked all the zones with me after the work was done to make sure I was satisfied. I will keep his number for next summer.

The first two repairs were not horribly hard to repair , except for the fact that the system was really old, and required a larger than usual size pipe. He was able to complete the job after several postponements due to bad weather days.

Then the third pipe broke in the front yard, creating a "water feature" sort of like Old Faithful. It happened early in the morning, I panicked remembering my water bill from the previous 2 broken pipes.  I called Tom, and he was there immediately.  He got the water shut off, but discovered that the break was on the main valve which was buried about five feet underground. He had to dig.....and dig...and dig until I was pretty sure the neighbors would wonder who or what I was going to bury in my yard...This took some time to finish, and I was amazed that he simply didn't run and hide, as it had to be a total nightmare of a job for him. Still, he never complained, and while he had every right to charge me a gigantic amount, he was way beyond fair and reasonable.

This guy is one in a million.  Would I nominate him for Band of Neighbors??? You betcha!  I'd go beyond that...he should be nominated for Sainthood!

Our sprinkler line was cut when a new fence was installed. The first company to come out did an initial repair for several hundred dollars and it still did not work. Diagnosis was the line had additional cuts and/or was full of sand. Their estimate to come back and excavate further and complete job was astronomical. I called a couple other companies to get additional estimates. Both were a fraction of the cost. I chose Tom, since not only was he the best price, but he also took the time to actually do some quick troubleshooting during the free estimate visit. He came today, arrived early, completed the job early, and did some additional equipment replacement all at 1/7th of the first companies estimate. He was very professional and friendly. I will definitely use him in the future and recommend him to anyone.

Tom is an extremely professional, fast, thorough, well equipped contractor who is detail oriented.  He explained all the issues as he repaired them, had all the necessary parts and tools to complete the job and the charge for his services was so reasonable, he acquired a customer for life. I've asked him to add me to his yearly service.

Mr. McGuinness is friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable.  He spent quite a bit of time inspecting and adjusting the sprinkler heads.  He replaced several heads and spent a good amount of time teaching me how to set and use the irrigation system controller.  He did all this for a $50 fee.  We set up a time a few weeks later to replace a valve that was leaking badly in one of the zones for $100.  Several days before that appointment, he called and let us know he had to reschedule that appointment to a few days later.  He arrived promptly and spent some more time answering a few additional questions we had.  The new valve is working great.

Tom came out on time and diagnosed the problem quickly.  He showed me where the zone valves were cracked before making the repairs.

Tom was one of two companies we had provide us with an estimate to install a new sprinkler system in our back yard.  He came to the house in late April to give the estimate.  He was right on time for the appointment, and did a very thorough inspection of both the yard and the crawl space to determine how best to install the system.  His estimate arrived within a few business days via email.  Given his professionalism, and the fact that his estimate was lower than the other one we received, we hired him.  He completed the work in mid-June (start of work was somewhat delayed due to the very rainy weather Colorado Springs had in May). He began on the appointed day and continually kept us informed about the status of the job.  We are very happy with the work and would happily hire him again.

Tom arrived right on time early in the morning. He fixed two sprinkler heads and a leaky pipe and got the whole system up and running in less than 45 minutes. He knows his stuff and is polite and professional. Highly recommend.

Bottom line up front: Tom was absolutely outstanding, professional, competent, and a pleasure to work with.  I highly recommend Tom's Sprinkler to anyone needing this service!
Tom made the effort to fit me into his super-busy schedule on short notice (my sprinkler control valve ruptured, which I discovered during de-winterizing).  He showed up on time, not only made the fix but added an additional drain valve on the outside to ensure this would never happen again, and then took the time to educate me about how to avoid ruptured valves in the future.
I am so impressed with Tom that I asked to come out and take a look at my entire sprinkler system and then do whatever he needs to do to get it into perfect working order.

Perfect! Tom is a true professional. He came and started my system . We then talked about options for more efficient watering. Tom came back and completed one project . He is a worker. I appreciate the fact that he does not try to sell you something you don't need. Very honest man.
