I logged onto AngiesList to find a good Window Tint business for my new truck. I immediately noticed SpoilerDude was the highest rated, as well as when calling around for pricing - they had the best price. So I called and scheduled an appointment. Paul was very courteous and kind on the phone - as well as called to confirm my appointment a day prior to when I was to drop off the truck. My appointment was for 8AM on a Saturday morning - I asked how long I would need to leave my truck - he informed me 2 hours. I said that was fine - as I would just bring my bike and ride around for a couple hours while the tint was being applied. All was good and I was looking forward to getting it done. I had even recommended this company to two of my friends who are presently in the same position as I was - looking to tint their windows. "I know I haven't even gotten it done yet - but these guys have provided great customer service, and their prices are the best that I have found". I showed up at 8am, and Paul met me in the parking lot with his extremely courteous demeanor and we compared what levels of tint would match the factory tint my truck came with on the back windows. Agreed on 20% - handed them my keys - grabbed my bike and went on my way. Keep in mind, as most people do - I live a very busy lifestyle, and work M-F full time and go to school in the evenings - meaning that I have very little free time. My Saturday's and Sunday's are my ONLY 2 days of the week I have to get things done. I scheduled my entire day around this window tint appointment. Honestly I thought 2 hours to tint 2 windows was a bit long - but i looked at the bright side as it gives me 2 hours to get in a good workout on the bike. Killing two birds with one stone. I came back at 10:30am (2.5 hours later after I dropped it off) - and the truck hadn't even been touched yet. I walked in and asked the gentleman at the desk if there was something wrong with the truck and why it hadn't been completed in the 2 hours I was told it would take. He informed me that they thought I was leaving the truck for the entire day. I laughed and said "absolutely not - I definitely need my truck today - I was told this would take 2 hours, so I planned my ENTIRE day around this." The gentleman asked if I would like to reschedule - I said "no thanks - two hours of my weekend had already been wasted and I didn't really appreciate that considering the amount of free time I have" I'm guessing that they do great work - but I couldn't tell you. Everything went GREAT leading up to the actual work being done - like I said - Paul provided GREAT customer service (minus the fact he said it would take 2 hours). Very nice guy. I did let my friends who I recommended SpoilerDude to know about this unfortunate situation. As I was driving home to go about my day I even thought to myself "ya know - if they call and apologize, and offer me some way that they can make the situation right (discount / come to me to tint the windows as the AL reviews say they do) that I would give them another shot - as mistakes happen" No Call - No Apology, Nothing.
