Pryor came out and gave an estimate. Days later the work was scheduled. The technician removed approx 5 planks, and refinished the area of the repair. There is no sign of the repair and it looks great. Very professional and prompt. Highly Recommended.

The estimator came promptly as scheduled and suggested the border pattern to go with the design we wanted. We received the proposal a few days later, as expected. We were able to schedule the work to meet plans once we accepted the proposal. We discovered we had miscounted the number of wood vents needed, but when I called to request another vent, I was told it would be no problem and it was not. The job took 6 days for installation, sanding, and staining. The workmen were prompt, courteous, and did excellent work, particularly the young man who did the floor design. They cleaned up at the end of each day and left no messes. Our floors came out beautifully and, although we were told they would not be an exact match where they bordered our already existing wood floors, they came extremely close. We are greatly pleased and would hire Pryor Floor again.

They were extremely prompt in setting up the appointment to come out to do the estimate. Rep arrived right on time as scheduled and was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Their price was slightly higher than quotes from 2 other companies and we ultimately went with someone else. But I was very impressed by them and hope I didn't make a mistake by going with a less expensive option...

The estimator came out and gave me a reasonable estimate so I scheduled the work. The workers came on time and did a great job from start to finish. I am very happy with the finish. They were very careful to seal off the room so dust would not get into the adjoining rooms which I really appreciate!

Their employees were always on time. The estimator was wonderful and told me about their ability to replace these boards that were not installed correctly. He gave me hints on stain colors -- how to clean to keep them up -- and how to set up my home so that the dust would be contained. The workers who came were wonderful. They were on time and did a beautiful job. I can't rave enough about them. No one else will ever touch my wood floors but Pryor!

I particularly liked everything about them. They did what they said they would do. They did a very good job.

The job from start to finish was OUTSTANDING! From the initial contact two weeks prior to the job start time, to the initial consultation, and then to the work being done, the Pryor Flooring team was the most professional, prompt, friendly, and conscientious group I have ever met! The work was broken down into three teams spanning three days. The first day was the sanding/ gap filling, staining crew that began on time, did superior work, expressed great pride in the work they do. The second day, was the first coat of polyurethane. Prior to beginning this step I noticed a few scratches in the floor. They were removed, sanded, stained without hesitation. Then the entire floor was polyurethaned, a wonderful job. The final day, the floor was screen sanded, buffed, and the final coat of poly applied. Once again with great pride and professionalism. If you ever need a hardwood floor refinished I would highly recommend Pryor flooring for the job!

Pryor did an excellent job on our floor and were very responsive to changes that was asked them to make. When we saw the floor as it was being laid down, there were a couple pieces we felt didn't fit in with the rest (too dark), so they un-did part of the floor to remove them. They also came back several times after it was done to fix some things that were not their fault (my footprint on the poly and some dust that had settled on the wet poly by the vents.) Excellent company, I'd use them again.

I could not have asked for better. Jennifer was very prompt and always courteous by phone or email. The entire team was always willing to answer questions. They really helped alleviate any fears/concerns I had being in Europe during the install by providing regular picture updates via email. I'm rather high maintenance and Jennifer quickly answered any question I had based upon receipt of pictures. Towards the end, the stain team noticed one board they did not like. For whatever reason, would not look good when stained. Rather than trying to stain it and 'hide' it from me, they took the extra time to remove the wood and install a board that met their quality stds/specs. I was very happy this was done prior to stain and sealing. In the end, they provided a truly outstanding product. I was particularly impressed by the fact that they do all the work and do not hire sub-contractors; different teams for each phase of the work. Rusty did some great wood work and I really liked the detail and finish of the stairs. Funny thing, they installed the wood when my home was built in 2001. I did not know this at the time, but when they went out for the estimate, they had it in their records. I say this partly because one of the main reasons I decided to remove the majority of my carpeting was because of the look/quality of the pre-existing wood floors; installed by Pryor through building contractor circa 2001. In sum, I would highly recommend the entire Pryor team. When neighbors and friends ask about the flooring, and they will ask, I will not hesitate to tell them about Pryor and how easy they made the entire process from start to finish.

We appreciated their professionalism and timeliness. We didn't go with them because our job required some work that was outside of their scope. However, we'd certainly check with them for future projects.

Worked with the company to come and do a test sample stain on floor before work begin since we would be out of town while the work was being done. The individual that came to look at the floors and do the test sample brought his son along. They were both nice but just found the situation a little odd. Pryor floors then came and did the floors while we were out of town. I am fairly certain that they spilled stain on our carpeting in two areas. They did attempt to clean it up but you can still see to light stains. I am not too worried about it because we plan to get our carpets replaced but just found it a little annoying. I also thought it was interesting that we never received anything regarding how to take care of the floors. These were minor incidents, and the floors do look nice, but overall not sure if I would use them again.

They did a great job. The floors look absolutely beautiful and they gave us advice on how to care for them. They covered areas very well with plastic during the messy sanding of the existing hardwood floors. The trim around the fireplace and entry and doors was also well done. I got three estimates and Pryor was the most reasonable and had high ratings from Angieslist--Thanks folks, Angieslist was right!

Pryor was GREAT in every way. They were extremely professional in giving the estimate, telling me what to expect, showing up on time, being respectful of the house, showing me various finish options, cleaning up afterwards, etc. The best part was that they came up with a creative and elegant solution to an unsightly seam down the middle of the room. They made other recommendations that proved to be right, and took a lot of care to make sure that I would get a result I was happy with. When I ended up wanting some additional work, they got extra guys out there right away to do it. It was a first-rate experience from start to finish (so to speak!) and I recommend them highly.

This was an excellent experience. I gave them approximate square footage over the phone, and they gave me an approximate price. A technician showed up and verified the measurements, and we agreed on the finish color. I was also in a hurry, and they were able to get the work started 2 days after my call. The price matched the best I found, and the finished quality was excellent.

Good accurate estimate, fast service and clean. Very trustworthy. And our floors look great after they sanded and re-finished.

They had to go in and piece in a floor and it got pretty complicated. It had to be a complete strip and sand rather than just touching up. They had to splice in some new boards in the area where there was a duct joint underneath the cabinet that we had removed. That forced us into a total sanding down and refinish. Once they started, they could not stop. They had to do the whole thing. I don’t know if they are the cheapest but they did extremely high quality work. We have recommended them to our neighbor.

The two installers arrived an hour and a half late due to a safety meeting. (I did receive a call that morning letting me know that the meeting was causing everyone to run behind.) The installers and I walked through the job, and they immediately let me know that there may be problems installing the strand bamboo because the material is so hard. They spent the next hour trying to adjust their nailers to work with th material, but met with no success. After calling the home office, they informed me that the manufacturer's recommended installation method was using a special glue. The process is more expensive and takes longer, but pryor offered to split the cost of the glue and didn't charge me for the additional labor. While I still don't understand why the installers Pryor sent weren't properly briefed on our flooring material, I think the company made up for it by choosing to use the right installation method and absorbing the majority of the extra cost. The work itself was beautifully done, with far less waste than expected. (I get to return an entire box of flooring.) And even with the time lost on the first day, the work was still completed on time. Having hired a number of contractors on this project that I would never recommend to anyone else, I do recommend Pryor; and I will use them again if I have any further flooring needs.

They were very efficient and showed up on time. They completed the work as per schedule and the quality of their work was excellent.

Beautifully! This is a very well-respected and established contractor, so the waiting list is long. However, the work is done beautifully, inspected to strict standards, and they are very, very clean so that you aren't having to deal with a mess from the sanding. They are definitely worth the wait.
