I called Olson on Monday(yesterday). Service was rapid and professional both in arranging the service and delivering the results. The technician was able to diagnose the problem, replace the defective part, and finish the job in a rapid professional manner. Since I work night shift, it was important to me to have this problem corrected since it is difficult to sleep during the day in a hot environment. So happy with their service that I definitely will call them again with future needs.

I had a leak in my downstairs main floor ceiling. The plumber said I think it's a leak in your roof. We called someone to look at the roof and we replaced the roof. Meanwhile five bucket of water were gathering in this room. It turned out that I had a hot water leak, one of the pipes had a crack and no one could find it. We used Olson Plumbing and Heating Company to replaced the line. I've used them for years and their reputation is really good.

They determined the water pressure was so low because I am in a three story house which is up on a hill and the city is not supplying enough pressure to get it up to the top floor on the top of the hill. Their service is fine and I have used regularly for years. He went around to every water tap in the house and measured the pressure to see whether the pressure was dropping and why. He was here for three hours , which is one reason why it was so expensive. But, it was kind of disappointing that he could not find any way to improve the situation. Their communication was just fine. I went around with him during the three hours and he explained everything about what he was doing and what it meant.

I tried to contact Olson for a second time, I think that I confused the issue with my first request. I asked for a quote to "put an add-on to my shower". The item is called a shower panel that has a rain shower head, a hand held shower head and 8 jets to resemble a spa like experience. They replied that they do not install spa tubs. So I sent another email trying to explain what I needed and even attached the specs which amounted to installing a hanging bracket on the shower wall and hooking up the hot and cold lines. See Attached: I can not seem to attach - but I know that I could perform the project, but the management at Summit Glen where I live wanted the work performed by a professional in case of a problem - which I can understand totally. They have been around for decades. They are reliable. I use them for both heating and plumbing.

Lift station wasn't actually broken. He did a quick maneuver and it was fine. Then he repaired our stopper and didn't charge for parts

It was great. They came within in hour of calling them. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for plumbing and heating. They are here when they are supposed to be. They are inexpensive and professional. They are very nice guys. They notify me before they come. I’ve been using them exclusively for 8 years.

I sent an email through Angie's list requesting contact for an appointment for a furnace inspection. I received a reply they were too busy and would get back to me. It's been a month and I have never heard from them. I won't ask again. I have no idea why they offer a coupon through Angie's List if they won't schedule an appointment.

Olson Plumbing and Heating is the only company I call when I have a problem with plumbing and HVAC in my house. Our current system was installed by the builder in 1999. The sales rep, Mark, was a good person to worked with. He explained the different models available and the pros and cons for each unit. At no time did he tried and influence one model over another. His information was direct and factual in discussing our needs. The project took two days due to the amount of work involved; removal of the existing furnace from the attic and installing the new unit; running a second drop to the farthest bedroom, and replacing the central air unit. All the work was done in a very neat and professional manner. Ray, an installer, advised me to go to the carrier website to register my equipment which double my equipment warranty from five years to ten years. With Olson Plumbing and Heating I received professional and quality products. While some people may take note of the cost, I paid for quality and knowing they stand behind their services. There is no shoddy workmanship with this company.

They're a little expensive but very professional and always do a good job. They're always on time and very dependable.

Larry was Great! He was professional, polite, curtiouse, didn't waste any time and knew his job. He didn't leave a mess & was careful not to track dirt on my carpet. Jill, the lady that answers the phone at Olson, was wonderful ! She dealt with a difficult landlord for me so I didn't have to! Jill was polite & knew exactly how to deal with the problem I had. I hope Olson keeps her for a very long time !!! I am very happy with this company.

Brian and his crew were exceptional! From the estimate to the completion I could not have asked for a better experience. It's clear that Brian loves his job, and knows every inch of it expertly. The crew worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves each of the two days the job took, and took necessary safety precautions, as we had a huge hole in the driveway from the excavation that had to be left overnight. Every step of the project was clearly explained, and all my inquisitive questions were answered cheerfully We have concrete pipes that were just beginning to crumble in one spot, and lots of elm trees on our property requiring having the line rooted about 3 times a year, so this was a preventative solution that I am really happy with, as my landscaping did not have to be torn up in order to replace pipes. This process creates a durable lining in existing pipes that prevents root intrusion. Olson has been doing this process longer than anyone else in town, and their price per linear foot is reasonable compared to what others charge, as this is an expensive project when your sewer line is as long as mine. I have also used Olson in the past for air conditioner repairs, and some years ago when I managed apartments, I used Olson for boiler maintenance and repairs. I have never been unhappy with any of the techs that have done work for me. I totally trust them, and find their prices to be fair.

It cost more than I expected. I had used Olson in the past for a number of jobs. When the tech arrived--before even starting the work--he asked to see the previous receipt so he'd know how far to go out. When I said I didn't have it handy, he asked how much it cost. I told him I thought it was just over $100 last time. He shook his head and told me I must be mistaken, that this was a much bigger job, that it would take a lot longer, and cost at least a couple of hundred dollars. While he got started I went and found the previous receipt and discovered I was right. The same job--performed two years earlier--had cost me $126. When I showed it to him, he nodded and said that was two years ago. When the job was done he handed me a bill for $227. It turned out he was right. The rates have gone up. Indeed it has--the job cost me 80.16% more this time. I like Olson a lot and had considered them to be our go-to company for all things plumbing. Next time, I'll shop around a little more carefully.

Exceptionally. All tasks were completed on time, on budget and without problems. Frank and Casey are pros. Great attention to detail and friendly, professional and tremendously reliable. They are the best plumbing and heating contractors we have every worked with.

We had water line break in the front and it came down into the house and it intercepted with the electrical system, and they did a very nice job. They were excellent and did excellent work.

Their pricing was good. It went very well. I think the city has to come and shut the main off through the house. They informed me before they come out and do everything, that way I wouldn’t be charge for their billing. I know they are billed for their time while they stood and wait around for the city’s permit.

They are fantastic. I definitely recommend them. They are more expensive but they do good work and they are professional.

Once again, Olson's came through for me, in a timely and highly professional manner! I had to disconnect my ice-maker and gas stove to install new kitchen flooring. As with the last time I called on Olson to bail me out of my DIY blunders, the technician, "Sean," did not snicker or even smile; he simply replaced the copper tubing I had broken--and with a much better, more flexible hose. In the process, he discovered a couple of leaks of which I had been unaware and cleaned them up for me. He replaced the gas stove connector with a newer and higher quality product and in the course of that chore, discovered that the valves on the house piping were eroded and leaking. He then checked the valves associated with every gas-fired appliance and replaced worn-out pieces (this house is 48 years old, so I was not surprised to see a few worn out parts). In every case, he brought me the old piece so I could see for myself where the wear and erosion had occurred. Then together we walked the maze of gas piping with his gas-sensing device, so I could be personally satisfied that he had solved small leak problems before they became major issues! Sean is UTTERLY PROFESSIONAL, by which I mean he is KNOWLEDGEABLE, METICULOUS, and EFFICIENT. When he did not have the best possible replacement item on his truck, he went to a local supplier and purchased it. At no time did he try to hard-sell me, unlike more than a few technicians I have dealt with. All in all, it was a great experience, and I recommend this company and this technicial without reservation!

This company is fantastic to work with! I worked with them for years at my other house, and when we moved our new house needed a new furnace. I got bids from five companies total. Olson was the ONLY company to address the ductwork in the house. All the other companies said that the new furnace would take care of the uneven temperatures in the house. We had two rooms that were ice cold and the basement was so stuffy we could hardly breathe down there. Olson explained that the house's original 1950s ducts were small, and the air flow just wasn't even. They proposed a shortcut way to fix it, too, rather than replacing all the ductwork, which would have been a major construction effort. And the short-cut worked. The house has much more even temperature throughout. The high-efficiency part has delivered, as well. Our heating bills have dropped pretty nicely.

We had just moved out of the house and the boiler failed ... only a few weeks after that other provider had serviced it, by the way. By the time we learned of the boiler problem (since we were out of the house), we had frozen pipes in three bathrooms and the kitchen. It was a super long weekend. Olson sent over people twice. The first time at the outset, and he worked for several hours to get the boiler going again. A second problem happened later in the weekend that needed another boiler repair visit. This was more extensive and was due to faulty service FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY earlier in the year. There were only two minor spots with leakages, and we were able to get those fixed quickly as well. Olson got it all figured out, helped me understand what had actually happened, and provided a letter asserting the health of the boiler and detailing the work done so that we could still close as scheduled!!!!

We ended up getting a new sewer line. They're always great, we've used them for 30 years. They have always been professional and come out as soon as they can.
