We've used Olsen Plumbing and Heating on and off for twenty to thirty years. It's a specialized kind of work. The most important thing about Olsen Plumbing and Heating is that they still understand how an old system works. I will continue to use them in the future.

They did an okay job. I think it cost me too much. I called another company and they installed the furnace and Olson did some work on the humidifier. Olson was fine. They charged me around $500 between the 2 trips for the outside deal and the inside trip. Olson does a good job. I've been pleased with their work. They are professional. I stay around and talk to the guy. I always like to get to know them before they leave. I would use Olson again in the future.

They showed up same day and on time. The did a a good job with repair in a timely fashion.

All their reviews say they are a bit pricey but their work is good so it is worth it. Price wise they are pricey but I was okay with it. Their quality of work was good and I enjoyed working them. As for responsiveness they were real quick to come out here. They were spot on as regards punctuality. I will use them again.

The tech was pleasant, professional, and efficient. He taught me several things about how to use and set the furnace that I think will be helpful in saving energy. I used the Angie's coupon, and I think the price was quite fair. However, he was an hour and a half late, AFTER a three hour appointment window. It ended up working out, but if I had been able to get only those three hours off work, I'd have been pretty upset. I understand seasonal demand, and I understand that some calls take longer than expected, but that's what the three hour window is for. 90 minutes past it isn't reasonable. That's just overbooking. I think I'd still use this company again, because of the quality of the work, but I'll make sure my schedules VERY flexible that day. In fairness, I should mention that the company did call twice to alert me to the delay.

The rep who took my phone call was very friendly. I requested same day service, but it wasn't available. I was happy to get next day service, and was given an estimated arrival time. As I was told, the serviceman called within time range I was given, and arrived shortly after. He quickly found and fixed the problem, and I was charged the minimum service charge. He also checked and replaced the filter at no extra charge. I had called 2 other companies before I called Olsen. Both of them said they would call me back when they became available. Neither one of them called me back. In all respects, Olsen's service was professional, on schedule, and as expected. I was very satisfied and will definitely call them again if I have any furnace problems.

Olson had the best price so I decided to go with them. Mark L. told me the job would take all day and the techs would be in at 9:00 AM and out by 5:00 PM.The techs got there on Wednesday Sept. 28 around 9:00 and started the work right away. They had a problem getting the new furnace through the crawlspace door and had to remove a 2 by 4 from the door frame and had to cut some dry wall. They never asked if it was okay to do that but I would have let them if they had asked. Around 5:00 the techs told me they had 3 to 4 more hours of work and asked if it was possible to stay but I had to leave so they told me to set up a new time with Mark to finish the job. The techs told me Mark was aware a new time needed to be scheduled but he never called me. It took 3 phone calls from me and 48 hours before Mark returned my calls to set up a new time. Mark said the earliest they finish the job would be the next Wednesday, Oct 5. So I was without a furnace for a week!!! The morning after the tech left, Sept 29, I discovered I had no hot water! The hot water heater pilot light went out when they hooked up the gas line to the new furnace and they didn?t re-light it. Then on the day before they were to return I heard a dripping sound in my crawlspace. I discovered the water line from the old humidifier was pulled over to my sump pump and left dripping at a fast rate (a quarter cup every 20 seconds). I calculated that they wasted over 400 gallons of water by letting it drip for a week!!! They came back on Wednesday Oct 5 and finished the job in about 3 hours. After they left I discovered they left the old humidifier water line still dripping into my sump pump and they never replace the 2 by 4 they removed from the crawlspace door. After all these problems I will never use or recommend Olson again. UPDATE After I posted this review Scott Martinez contacted me by phone and gave me a sincere apology about all the problems I had with this furnace installation. He said the Olson staff had a couple of meetings to discuss the problems and find solutions so that there wouldn?t be any similar problems like this in the future for other customers. As Scott said in his response, Olson offered to refund some of the money I paid and to do a free furnace checks in the next two years. I accepted the refund and will take them up on their offer for the free furnace check in the next two year. Also, Scott and Mark each wrote a letter of apology to me that I didn?t expect but I did appreciate.I was impressed by Olson?s response to my post. They took immediate steps to resolve the problems and went above and beyond what I expected. I really believe Olson?s apology was genuine and that they wanted to make things right.

They did a great job considering our house is very old. Olson's is not inexpensive, but they installed some "extras" that were good ideas, that we hadn't thought of.

It was an emergency and they were very prompt.

They had a lot of services offered and said they could come out within the hour, with a fee, in case of emergency. I waited three days for them to come out. The workers were perfect and everything is working well.

They are good. The service they did went excellent overall. I spent about $80 on that service. I would tell others that I think that they are pretty reliable, they know what they are doing, and I think they are honest. They do general plumbing service.

I got my toliet tightened and good advice. Price seemed high, but I don't use a plumb often enough to know if the price was too high.

This company is very reliable and professional. If there are any problems they will respond very quickly and take care it. I would recommend using this company to anyone.

I was satisfied with the whole process on both occasions. The office staff setting up the appointment was friendly and professional, offering prompt service. Both plumbers sent for the jobs arrived on time. They both explained the procedures accurately and did what they said they would do. My only issue was the (stated upfront) extra milage charge for travel time out of the city limits. I live less than 10 miles west of city limits and actually closer to their main office than properties on the east side of town. I would still use them for my plumbing repair needs as I am very satisfied with the results.

I called Olson Plumbing & Heating to service our central air conditioner. Although air was coming out the vents, It was not cooling our house and freezing up. Olson came out the same day I called for an appointment. The technician was very professional and helpful. He told me about using the garden hose to flush out the outdoor unit (after turning off the outside circuit breaker). The outside unit acts as a vacuum and pulls in dust, grass, anything floating in the air which will clog up the outside unit. He also gave me advice about buying the least expensive filter (during summer months) and changing it once a month which will make it run more efficiently. Our house is now staying really cool with a setting at 74 degrees. This is during hot days with a high of 89-93 this past week. What a relief to have a cool house again and my husband is really happy because I am now cooking dinner again. I can no longer use the excuse it's too hot in this house to cook!!! (:>

We gave Olson a call and they were prompt, courteous, and got the job done in half the time for a third of the money. They didn't try to upsell us into any other products and explained the problem--and the reasons why we might consider an annual snake-out of the sewer--in a informative manner. We will definitely be using them in the future.

They were very professional in responding to our problem. Called at 9:00 a.m. and the problem was solved by 1:30 p.m. the same day. They gave us a good estimate up front and it came to the exact amount. The plumber who was here was very helpful and explained the problem. The job at the house was done within 15 minutes.

The first weekend in our new house the basement pipes backed up, leading to some minor flooding in the basement. We called Olson Plumbing because of their great reviews. They came out and snaked the pipes to remove roots that had encroached. 2 weeks later, after running a lot of water (laundry, dishwasher, showers all at once), the pipes backed up again. We called them back and they came out and realized they hadn't snaked out quite far enough. They fixed their error and didn't charge us! It was considered under warranty! The guys were great and were very polite and professional.

They were extremely helpful. They were pretty clean about doing the job. It was an all-around good experience. I haven't had any problems since they worked on the main line. They cleaned up pretty well.

I work for a restoration company and we call Olson's whenever we have a water break or sewer clean-up. We have used them for years and know they will take care of our customers with same level of service we do. They are always professional and definitely know what they are doing. On a personal level, I used them to inspect the furnace when I bought my house in 2006. The technician that came out said I had a sensor that was disconnected so he connected it again. It turned out that the furnace wouldn't work with the sensor connected, so Olson's came back out for free to fix the problem. I appreciated them coming back out and I've had no problems with the furnace since. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I had planned to replace our current furnace with a high efficiency furnace to take advantage of the tax incentive before the end of the year. I called OPHC to set up an estimate and was very impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness to multiple calls/questions. Their representative (Alex) showed up on time for the furnace estimate and did a thorough check. He sent a detailed report with a recommend option but after discussing the plan during a phone conversation, Alex assured us our current furnace is functioning properly and does not need to be replaced. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job giving his honest assessment and advice. Thanks for the great service!
