My husband and I have really enjoyed working with Michael. He truly cares about his clients, is knowledgeable about the industry, and often goes above and beyond what he needs to do. He is very attentive, professional, and has integrity. If we were looking to buy another home in Colorado Springs I wouldn't hesitate to work with Michael again! Mike was absolutely fantastic. We found his name here on Angie's List since we were moving into the area from Texas with it being the first time our family has been in Colorado Springs! We were looking at going with one builder, who I shall call "Builder A," but after reading several negative reviews on them online decided we should contact a real estate agent who knows the local area. Reached out to Mike to ask his opinion on "Builder A" and he confirmed what I saw online. When I asked about a second builder, whom I shall call "Builder B" he said nothing but good things about them. Decided to go with "Builder B" and a few weeks later, I arrived in Colorado Springs to finalize paperwork and go through the design center. Shortly after picking out all of the options and putting down earnest money, "Builder B" wanted my lender to do a pre-appraisal of the floorplan, saying that is something that their "preferred lenders" do. My lender said it was pointless since there is no definitive way to know what a real estate market would be like in 5-7 months at closing after the home was done being built. Mike helped us play hardball with "Builder B" and they backed down on the requirement for the pre-appraisal. Mike was there at the all of the walk throughs, which was a good thing since my wife was stressed about the lack of progress on selling our previous home in Texas, which Mike offered up some good suggestions. I am happy to say that we closed on the home two days ago and wish there was someway he could have also of been our real estate agent in Texas! He was fantastic throughout the whole process and highly recommend him!!

It was such a pleasure to work with Michael Winslow. Being an escrow officer for over 15 years I have never encountered a more professional or compassionate agent. Michael possessed all the newest technology the market has to offer. The sale of my house was difficult as I moved out of state and didn't have a cell phone or computer to work with. He worked with my daughter (who was also out of state) using a power of attorney she has on my behalf. He guided her through the process of accepting and countering offers made. Michael LISTENED to me, gave me superb advise/suggestions on how to get the house sold quickly. I was low on funds and becoming delinquent on payments so time was of the essence. Michael walked us through the home selling process- He made it effortless and painless on us. Being a military family, both of us working 40+ hours a week, and having a 4 year old we were worried that our crazy schedule would impede in the home selling process- Michael worked around our schedules. Michael was reachable early in the mornings and late into the evenings. One of the things we appreciated most about Michael is that he would return phone calls promptly and answered text messages almost instantly. This being the first time we have ever sold a home, Michael was kind and patient with us he answered all of our questions, told us what we could expect during the process, and was always there for us. We always felt like we were his only clients. I would recommend Michael to everyone who is looking to buy or sell a home. Michael?s knowledge of the market is profound, and his professionalism surpasses the standard. After slightly more than a month we got an offer. Michael helped us through price changes and negotiations. He also performed some non-realtor-like services as favors, which eased the process. Michael is a very personable fellow who always made himself available to us no matter what else he had going on--and he gets the job done.

When I found that I needed a good realtor in Colorado Springs, a friend recommended Michael. We met and hit it off immediately. Then the search for my new home began. I knew exactly what I wanted and I knew it wouldn't be easy to find. Michael always made me feel like he was giving me his undivided attention as we looked at one property after another. Finally, a place came on the market that met all my requirements and was in my price range. Now we had to sell my condo in a not-so-great market, but Michael managed to do that, too! Through it all, I greatly appreciated the feeling that Michael was looking out for my best interests, not just a commission.

So much of that experience was more than determining what my budget would allow and what area of town I liked -- it was actually a discovery of what would truly feel like home and be an environment in which I could thrive in every aspect. Michael chose listings to view carefully, and was patient as I slowly learned what I actually wanted. His thoughts on each property were solid and helpful, but he was never pushy or strongly directive -- more like a trustworthy sounding board. I did end up finding a place that really clicked, and Michael helped the process of making an offer go smoothly. He truly "went to bat" for me in a way that was courteous and respectful to the seller as well, and I ended up with a house I truly loved at a price I could afford. Some time later I ended up needing to move out state, and Michael helped my new husband and I to sell the house.
