Terrible

I was pleased with the results, and the staff who did the cleaning. Their cleaning standards are high and efficient, and managed to bring this house into good order.

They were professional, courteous, and on time. However, the initial cleaning was out of my price range.

Arrived on time, Completed work in about 3 hours. Very pleasant and professional. Did an outstanding job! Very happy with the great work they do and they stand behind the product!

I had an exceptional experience with Maid to Shine. I called and spoke to Krista the owner who on very short notice before Thanksgiving squeezed us into their schedule. On the date they had planned to come we had a family emergency and when we contacted them they were extremely accommodating for our emergency. The team promptly arrived and jumped in to cleaning. They were professional, polite, and some of the hardest working people I have ever seen. It was estimated that the service would take 4 hours and cost about $250. However, this estimate was given based on size of rooms. I knew there was no way this would be done in 4 hours because my house was a disaster of a mess. At hour 5 of the 4 hours they gave me the option to stop in an hour and my price would be as estimated. But they would not able to complete the task in the time remaining. She gave me a second option that one person could return the next day and complete the remaining bathroom, but there would be an additional charge. I chose the 2nd option and was very glad I did. The additional cost was minimal in my estimation. Plus they had done such an amazing transformation of my house that I didn't want them to stop. I did not believe such a small team could do so much in the time that they did. They were prepared with all of their own supplies, I only needed to have my vacuum cleaner available. I offered something to drink, but they all even had their own drinks. They were well organized and efficient. Every time I looked in a room I was so excited about how good it looked. They all worked so hard in spite of the sneezing from all the dust they were working to rid from my home. I plan to use them again in the future and have already recommended them to friends. That is the first time EVER that all of the ceiling fans and light fixtures all glistened on the same day. Also the products they used were not scented. I have issues with scents and the products they used left my house smelling fresh and clean

We have a very large home from which we run two businesses, one of which is project management training and consulting. I mention this because any type of service business must estimate the time and human effort to complete a job. So given our project management background we were not surprised to hear that it would take at least 2 or more visits to complete the deep cleans necessary to bring our home up to a maintenance standard. For the first deep-clean visit, Crista, the owner of Maid to Shine, sent two cleaning technicians, Tommi and Diandre. For stage 2 of our deep clean, Crista (the owner) sent Gayle, who tackled two more of our offices and a bathroom with the same attention to detail that I now expected from Maid to Shine. All of the cleaning techs brought their own supplies; and they checked in with Crista when they took breaks and lunch to ensure I paid only for the time they were actually working. You might think that's not much for two people working all day, *and* you would be wrong because (1) our previous, serious cleaning occurred many years ago; and (2) following Maid to Shine procedures, among them, the three cleaning techs deep cleaned: ~ Each room (three offices and two bathrooms) from ceiling to floor and from wall-to-wall. ~ 25 windows on two stories, including giant picture windows; and windows in awkward places such as behind bushes and in window wells. And all of the blinds. ~ Fiberglass Kohler showers that were heavily spackled with green stains caused by new copper pipes that were still "curing." ~ Picture frames, door jambs, light fixtures, and other easy-to-miss areas. ~ Bookcases, cabinets, desks, and tangles and mangles of cords and power supplies from computers and other office equipment. (If you've never done it before, get on your hands and knees right now and look at the cords, etc. of your own equipment. You might be astonished at how filthy high tech can be.) In sum, a messy environment really does suck up your brain cells, making it hard to concentrate on doing profitable work or just enjoying life. With the completion of our first deep cleans, we are feeling more productive and relaxed, and are looking forward to "Deep Clean - Stage 3," when Maid to Shine will tackle our next batch of rooms ... so we don't have to!

Initial clean was more expensive, 300+ for my 2850sf home. You'd have never guessed my home had been "professionally" cleaned on a weekly basis prior. It was a disaster. After the initial cleaning (which was insanely thorough) I found my home easier to maintain. I went with bi-monthly service because the cost was higher than the other company I had used. Worth it because I definitely am getting more for my money. bi weekly service for my home ran 145/visit which typically lasts between 4-5hrs. The rest of the cleanings are maintenance driven with light fixtures and fans and blinds receiving a dusting on every visit. Baseboards and dusted and the home is cleaned with natural products that do not leave residual odors or tackiness. It is nice not to worry about pets or kids walking on freshly mopped floors.
