The interior of the garage was masked off and all surfaces not to be painted were covered. All drywall was primed and painted. Extremely pleased with the results. Work area was kept very clean. Barry and crew were extremely professional. Will certainly keep them in mind for future paint projects.

The house had not been painted in 10 years and needed extensive preparation before painting. The crew was courteous and conscientious, arriving on time and cleaning up at the end of each day. Barry also kept me in the loop daily, as they worked around some unco-operative weather. The finished result looks amazing and I have received positive comments from neighbors and contractors. Barry is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the job and committed to customer satisfaction .... a SUPERB job and an absolute pleasure to work with!!!

It was really, really awkward. If this man doesn't want work, why is he on Angie's List? Or was there some secret code word I didn't know to say? Or do I live in the "wrong" part of town? Given that they are this unprofessional and opaque on the phone, I would never have them do anything more complicated for me. At the very least, a customer should be assured that when she calls for an estimate, she will not be treated like a tedious inconvenience by the "service" provider.

Hemmert Painting did both interior and some exterior painting, and we were very satisfied with all of it. In fact, Hemmert Painting will be hired to do more painting on the exterior of the house in the near future. We found the owner to be very amiable and easy to work with and we can recommend him without hesitation.

I can't say enough about Barry and his crew. He was very responsive in providing me a quote. Quote was reasonable. He was flexible in scheduling the job. Barry and his crew showed up on time the day the job started. Everyone on the job were pleasant, polite and professional. The house looked "tired" and now it "pops." I rate Hemmert Painting a "10!"

Barry and his team did a fabulous job. They were all gentlemen and very conscious of taking great care of our home. All of our neighbors stopped to say how impressed they were with their painting. They took their time priming and replacing damaged boards before painting. The quality of their painting is fabulous and the best we have ever had. The inside was perfect too, he matched my interior walls perfectly. They took great care with the inside our home . They always kept their work clean and neat. When the entire project was finished they made sure everything was clean and placed back where it belonged. i strongly recommend hiring Hemmert Painting!!

Barry and crew were polite, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very efficient. They took great care to do excellent work at each step in the process. They worked quickly, while still doing the highest quality job. They cleaned up thoroughly and everything looks neat and clean. We were very pleased!

From the beginning Barry provided a detailed estimate of the job, and listened carefully to my desires. When the work started the crew had to work around two weeks of rain, hail and T storms. Despite the weather they did an outstanding job of prepping the house: power washing the outside, detailed scraping and chipping paint, and priming the house. Barry's crew is young, but despite their youth they are meticulous professions with extreme attention to detail. Barry uses high quality products and has a high quality crew. If you would like quality work, I would highly recommend Hammert Painting.

I think the paint job went very well. I am very pleased with the appearance. The painters were all clean cut guys and seemed to want to do the best job possible. They cleaned up after the job and took me on a tour of the house to inspect their work. The owner brought out samples of the colors that I selected and painted a small area so I could see how the colors would look which helped a lot. I would recommend this company in the future. Thanks. Originally received recommendation for Hemmert Painting from my roofer that was replacing our roof because of the May 2014 hail storm. Was only going to have Hemmert paint and stain hail-damaged portions of house and deck. After meeting with Barry and talking through his very reasonable estimate and process for doing the work, we decided to have him paint the entire 5,200 sq ft house. Barry put together the most detailed, yet complete bid I've ever received from a contractor. He painstakingly worked with us to ensure he used exactly the paint and stain color we wanted. As the painting work approached on the calendar, Barry was in contact with us repeatedly to lock in painting days... around very a uncertain weather period this Spring. Hemmert did absolutely great work, following our contract to the letter. Barry's painting crew was first rate - cleaned up at the end of every day, were polite and respectful with my family and neighbors while on the job, cut no corners, and were extremely contentious. They scraped and sealed damaged wood siding (just as Barry said they would), sprayed (two coats) and back-brushed the larger surfaces, and brushed two coats on all trim. On the last day, Barry insisted upon a thorough walk-around inspection with me after final clean up. His entire crew was right there with him, ready to jump on anything left undone. I did not find a single missed spot or problem with the painting and not one paint or stain drop on concrete, window pains, anywhere! It went so well, I asked Barry for bid for painting my rental property - a 2,000 sq ft. Again, the bid, price, and timeline was right, and the result was exactly the same. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the process, price, and especially the result. I will not use anyone else for external painting now.

This was a great experience. Barry was a great communicator and we got the service scheduled quickly. Cody and Anthony were punctual, polite and professional. They checked with me several times on how I wanted certain things done, and they did a great job! They were even nice to my dogs, who really wanted to see what they were doing all the time! Great experience, I will use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Barry, the owner, was really accomodating. The original deal was for painting a room. We emailed back and forth about the possibility of applying the deal to my ceiling instead. Even though the deal had expired by the time we settled on a plan, he arranged for me to get it anyway. His painters arrived on time and were very polite and professional - I felt good about having them in my home. They got the work done right on time. I am very happy with the results and would use Hemmert Painting again in the future.

There was a slight delay getting scheduled due to "emailing" instead of using the phone but that was straightened out soon enough. Cody and Anthony were two very nice young men. Very courteous, on time and completed the work within the scheduled time frame. They were very professional and friendly. The job was done right. Would use again.

I hired the company to help me paint the high areas I couldn't reach and paint some unfinished areas in our new home. Cody and Anthony worked for 7 hrs and did an excellent job! They arrived on time, were very polite, conscientious, professional, very nice and considerate. When they were finished, they asked me to look over the work and let them know if they had missed anything. Nope! They did an excellent job! They cleaned up everything and left no mess or paint spills. That evening, the company owner, Barry, called me to check on the work done. I really appreciated the follow-up call and told him how pleased I was with the work done and would hire his company again! Great customer service and quality of work!!!

Overall, we couldn't be happier with the whole experience. We all know how difficult it can be these days to find honest, reliable, professional painters who provide high quality work. We were fortunate to find the complete package in Hemmert Painting. Barry exceeded our expectations in every way as he was always on time, professional, and performed excellent work. He returned my email promptly for the initial request for a bid, then showed up within a day or two to perform a thorough evaluation of the scope of work to be performed. Within 24hrs we received a professional and thorough proposal via email. Barry put us on his calendar for October as he was booked up for a few months during the busy summer season. Most all paintable surfaces on our 1945 stucco home needed serious attention from years of neglect, combined with the previous owner's attempt to cover it up pre-sale - so we were adamant that we didn't want a "scrape and cover" job this time. We were, instead, looking for someone who could do more restorative type work. Barry understood our needs, and was able to exceed our expectations by removing several layers of paint and patch, and restore it to an even finish prior to painting. Failing or missing caulk was also taken into consideration and redone. All aspects of the preparation and painting of our home were excellently done. Barry also prepped and repainted most all trim, fascia, and door jambs on our seven yr-old garage which had never been repainted. This aspect wasn't nearly as difficult as our house, but the quality of work was evident. Again, we couldn't be happier with the work of Barry with Hemmert Painting. I would highly recommend him!

Barry Hemmert did a fantastic job painting our home. He helped tremendously with the selection of the product to use. He then bought samples and did a "test" on our actual wall, so that we could see the colors on a larger surface then a sample card. We made arrangements with him to paint the house while we were on vacation. He sent us pictures of the progress. He did an excellent job painting as well as cleaning up. I highly recommend him!

I waited quite a while for the service, but the wait was well worth it! Barry is very thorough and sincerely treats your home like his own. He is honest with his recommendations and spot on with each one after the work is complete. He is very honest, clean and professional!
