Helping Hands Moving

The 3 guys arrived at the time that was promised. They were very efficient, fast and did an amazing job. They were very careful with all of our belongings & did it with a very positive attitude and all were very friendly and fun guys. Moving is stressful to say the least and they made our experience pleasant. We will be moving our belongings out of storage into our new home in Feb/March and will definitely be calling them back to move us into our new home.

The only complaint I will say about them is they didn’t have boxes and I guess I just assumed they would have boxes, which seemed like a reasonable assumption. If they didn’t they probably should have said that ahead of time because I had extra things that I had to kind of scramble, so that would be my complaint. It was reasonable. The price was good. They were fine with handling the goods.

The 2 trucks and 5 men arrived on time. I walked the job with them to let them see what they would be moving. With in minutes they had the first box on the truck. All 5 men were polite, friendly and professional. They were concerned about our fragile items and made sure they were loaded safely. My wife and daughters were comfortable with them which is important to me. During the initial consultation with Shauna, she told my wife what to expect. All her promises were kept by her movers. Overall I would give a higher rating if I could and will refer anyone who needs a moving company to Shauna and Helping hands. As a businessman myself on Angie's list I am critical and have high expectations when it comes to customer service. I am glad I hired them.

This moving company is awesome. Shauna came to our house to determine what we would need to make our move. On moving day, we had 2 trucks and 4 men. They were professional, worked VERY hard and quickly. They loaded our goods with care and efficiency and moved them to our new house in Canon City. They unloaded with care and very quickly. We were extremely please and very happy with their service and demeanor. With all the goods they moved, there was only one problem. There was a gouge on our dining room table. I contacted Shauna and she was very cooperative and willing to make it right. She researched and found a furniture refinisher in our area. We are in the process of having that table top repaired. We have no complaints about the process or her profesionalism in addressing the issue in a timely manner. There was absolutely no quibbiling over getting the repair we needed. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone in the area making a move. It's a GREAT company and they treat you and your goods with care and profesionalism

I hired Helping Hands moving to help in loading heavy furniture into a PODS unit. The two movers, Steven and Mark, arrived a bit early which was good and started in right away. They assessed the situation and started in right away. We had already loaded a number of boxes and things into the unit and they explained that they would need to move some things around to get the remainder of stuff loaded. The did an excellent job of maximizing space in the unit and let me know right away the things they needed from me to make the job successful. I was very pleased with their professionalism and the speed in which they completed their tasks. They were very detail oriented and I could tell they had a lot of experience in packing and loading. I highly recommend Helping Hands. They took a lot of the stress out of a highly stressful situation, were vary personable and did an awesome job!

Mark and Steven did a great job moving the contents of my large storage unit back into my house. There was more work to be done than I had originally estimated, but they tackled the job and got it done in excellent time. Professional, careful, and very friendly, they were a great team and got me back into my home in no time. I'd definitely use them again.

The move went smoothly. it was a bit frustrating because it turned out someone had tried to break into the storage unit and the key or other item used broke off in the lock. Our keys were not able to fit into the lock. This meant we had to drive to the management company and acquire a bolt cutter to get into the storage unit. The workers were willing to wait and in hindsight we should have re-scheduled. A full hour was wasted doing all of this and we had to pay extra for the time it took. This was not really a type of move that warranted needing blankets, etc. but I have no doubt that had it been they would have been careful and packed things carefully. The stuff in the storage was not of great value.

The guys were great, they were very friendly and professional, they came to work and work they did. At times the guys were running back and forth from the truck to the apartment. I was very happy with the move and if I ever need help again they will be my guys.

They called prior to arriving to let me know they were taking lunch and then gave the approximate time they would arrive. Once they arrived, they surveyed the home and what furniture needed to be moved and went over the contract with me. Their time does begin when they leave the office and doesn't end until they return to their office. That would have been really nice to know. I was charged, fairly enough, for the additional time. These guys were very polite and worked efficiently as a team. They took great care with all my items from breaking down the beds to putting them back together at the new residence. What I really appreciated was the office's willingness to work with me an my short timeline. I was only given a few days notice from my builder as to when I could move in to the home. Helping Hands worked with me very diligently on the dates that they could move me. Thankfully, they were able to squeeze me in after a job they had in the morning. I have already recommended helping hands to others that are planning their moves. I was very impressed with the service!

I bought this moving special for a friend who moved an invalid relative and one of her caregivers from a 1 bedroom apt to a larger one within the same apt complex. (3 movers guys and a moving truck for up to 3 hours; needed moving supplies also on sale) The movers were all courteous, professional in handling and moving things from one place to the next.. They moved everything that was ready to go. I definitely recommend this company and will hire them to help another friend move within our city. This was a good deal.

Two men arrived on time to move approximately 30 boxes and 10 furniture items from our home that sold to an apartment located on the 3rd floor. Our bed is a CalKing size tempurpedic mattress (e.g. VERY heavy) which had to be carried up 4 flights of stairs - HH also disassembled/reassembled the bed frame, and also took special care to disassemble and reassemble an old and cheap Sauer desk so it wouldn't break trying to move it down and then up several flights of stairs. They worked hard and quickly completed the move which saved us money. They were professional and caring with our items and nothing was missing or forgotten at the old residence. We are truly grateful for the excellent service HH provided, and highly recommend them.

I am thrilled with the services of Helping Hands Movers. From the moment I spoke with their office rep, Shawna, till the guys packed up and left, it was a completely positive experience. Shawna showed up right on time to go over what we would be moving and quickly gave us a very reasonable estimate. The guys, Steve, Mike, and Mark, arrived promptly on moving day and were very friendly and respectful of us and our furniture. They came with all the necessary gear and put down carpeting protection. We had two extremely important pieces to us; one was an heirloom dresser that was made by hand by my husband's 3x great grandfather, and the other was a mosaic pedestal table that I had made myself. The crew took great care in transporting these sentimentally valuable pieces to our new location and did so without incurring any damage to either piece. When we settled the bill at the end of the day, it was actually $300 less than estimated (a very nice surprise!). I highly recommend this moving company and will use them for moving anything in the future. As a matter of fact, my father-in-law is going to be using them for his upcoming move to his new apartment.

Movers were great. We got Mike and Mark and they were both great guys. They were careful with the furniture, pointed out any damages that existed ahead of time, and didn't cause any new damage. Everything was put away where it was supposed to go and they even helped move a washer and dryer at the new place without any complaint. The charged time was accurate and they deducted for their breaks, which I planned to pay them for anyway. Great move, no hassles or complaints.

The packers were great and quick. Moving day went smoothly and they hustled!

Also without a hitch, absolutely phenomenal. They were punctual and professional. I gave them a $20.00 tip each, because I was so pleased with the work.

Movers were affable and very careful with tightly fitting furniture pieces. Furniture inside the house had to be moved to the garage and furniture in van moved to basement area. A glass shelf from the entertainment center that was moved to the garage was carefully placed behind pillows on a recliner, but not replaced in the entertainment center moved to the garage. Furniture in the basement that was moved to facilitate moving in new furniture was not replaced, leaving a 76-year-old widow to replace heavy chair and table. Driver arrived slightly early (9:50) to pick up furniture from another location and the work was completed by 11:40 AM, leaving plenty of time to correct furniture placement and replace glass shelf. A minimum charge of two hours was agreed upon, but driver charged for 3-1/2 hours when work actually took less than two hours. A phone call to the office resulted in a quick correction of the time and a check was received within a couple of days for the overcharge. Considering the care taken and ready adjustment of charging errors, I would happily use this service again.
