Lost furnace operation late one night , furnace fan would operate but no heat( no ignition). After personal research/troubleshooting the problem pointed to a bad circuit board in HVAC system but I am not an expert. We called Calibrating Air Heating & Cooling and (Bart) responded to our home and also diagnosed the problem to a circuit board and suggested the draft motor sounded bad and should be replace also. Bart replaced the board/ motor and after a few hours the system was back up and running. Great experience, personable, professional, and cleaned up after the job...Important! Highly Recommended

I do not know the date of last contact. They bent over backwards to work with us. Because they could not install the new furnace right away, they installed a new fan so the old furnace would work until they could come. We later had them back to install an electrostatic furnace filter that will clean the air in the entire house. They are very professional. The price given is for the furnace installation.

I first found Calibrating Air 4 years ago when they came out to replace a blower motor on my old furnace. At that time my house had a Blue Ribbon home warranty as we had just bought the house. I was impressed with the quality of the work and after finding out more about this family owned company from Brandon, who is part owner with his father Bart, I decided to keep their phone number for future use. I had them out again this fall to give my existing furnace a tune-up and we got to talking about the newer furnaces and water heaters since mine was 23 years old and the water heater was 14 years old. They gave me information on new equipment without any "sales pressure" whatsoever. After thinking about it for a month or so I decided the time was right to get new equipment. I had the pleasure of watching the whole team come out (Bart, Brandon, Steve and William) at one time or another over the course of 2 days in order to finish the job for me in the 2 days before Christmas. Each one was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional and worked on my house as if it were their own, taking the time to make the install functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend Calibrating Air without reservations to any of my friends and family. Also, the office staff of Connie and Bonnie are very friendly and professional and will make it a priority to get one of the techs out to your house ASAP if your heater does stop working. I have been very pleased with this company.

Brandon and Will arrived promptly and quickly. The issue was resolved efficiently. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I asked many questions and they provided me good information about my heater's operation and efficiency. They also provided good advice on thermostat settings. I plan on using their services in the future.

The owner, Bart Ferguson, came to our house and gave us the best out of four estimates. He came again, with his son, who would be doing the work, to take measurements and go over the installation with him. They were both friendly and professional. The installation took all day and into the evening because Brandon(Bart's son) and his co-worker William encountered a fair bit of difficulty drilling through, by chance, a very difficult cinder block and relocating the new thermostat. They were determined to finish the installation that day and did, very satisfactorily. What a difference! We live in a 1955 house in Manitou Springs that has no insulation. The Rheem modulating furnace that they installed has been working beautifully. The new thermostat keeps an even temperature partly by circulating the air in the house all the time. Great product, great job.

Bart arrived onsite on time and came prepared with necessary equipment to repair our furnace. He inspected our furnace and expained the cause of the furnace problem and provided the resolution to fix it. He was thorough and the job was completed timely and to our satisfaction. We would certianly use Calibrating Air again.

Bart came quickly to see why our furnace was not working. The part that had malfunctioned was not technically under warranty anymore, but he felt it should have lasted longer than it had, so he extended the warranty to us anyway!

I loved them. I wish they did everything. I wish they could do plumbing, electrical and home repairs. They were so great. I think they won an award last year and they should win another one this year because I can't say enough good things about them. They were just so polite. They kept coming in and saying, "we found this", at one point it was a nickel. So I mean they're just ethical and just really nice.

Very professional and knowledgeable. The fix for my air conditioner was an inexpensive replacement part. I appreciate this honest assessment of the problem and keeping the cost at a minimum. He also spent time giving me information on keeping the conditioner working properly and gave me ideas on how to get the temperatures upstairs and in the basement more regulated. I also appreciate the courteous service and the fact he covered his shoes whenever he entered the house. I am going to set up scheduled maintenance with this company to keep the system working properly. There was no pressure to upsell different products available. He did answer questions about issues I brought up and gave me information on some remedies. I am going to have the company install a couple of ad-ons to my AC/Heating system to improve the air quality in the house.

Called within 3 hours they were here, fixed the problem & left.

Fabulous experience with this company. Brandon Ferguson (owner) and Will (tech) came out. They were both professional and engaging and I even had the unique opportunity of observing Brandon teach Will as his new employee. All heating vents, returns, and the dryer vent was thoroughly cleaned and deodorized. (Check out their Facebook page to see what was discovered in them. Yikes!) Additionally, our furnace was inspected which uncovered a cracked heat exchanger. The furnace was physically written on, with the problem clearly stated and dated, so as to notify any other company that may come to look at it. The same information was also documented on my invoice. I feel it important to note that air duct cleaning is not their specialty. Their area of expertise is residential heating/cooling with a priority given to emergency services. They are a small business, family owned and managed so if numerous emergency service calls come in, which it did in my case, they will reprioritize their schedule to meet the immediate need. I found this to be evidence of a responsibly run service company.

I have been using Calibrating Air for years. When I had them clean my air ducts, after moving into our home, I called them a few months later and asked them to do a check up on our furnace and all house humidifier. I was told that it wasn't necessary since they did that, out of courtesy, when they did the air ducts, unless I was having a problem. They are excellent. I refer them all of the time. I'm a Realtor and have referred my clients to them, and they now refer them also. I'm noticing, in my office, that several realtors are using them too. I can't say enough good things about them. They are also recommended by a home warranty company who uses their services. The whole family is great, and extremely courteous.

We arrived home early one evening to a chilly home. I went downstairs to find the furnace blower motor moving air, but the furnace wouldn't 'fire' up. We called Calibrating Air (after-hours). After asking a few questions over the phone it was believed that we may have a bad ignitor. Although they offered to come to our home that evening we opted to wait for the following morning and agreed to an arrival time window. The following morning Bart arrived at our home within the agreed arrival time window with the right part in his truck. In just a few minutes he confirmed it was a bad ignitor and swapped out the bad part. For several years we have called on Calibrating Air for all 'our' heating and air conditioning needs. Their service is 'first rate', their service technicians are professional and knowledgeable and their prices are fair. I'm very happy with their service.

For several weeks our whole house humidifier had not been receiving water. After some procrastination we made an appointment for a service call. I received a phone call prior to arrival and work started then. I turned the heat up quite a bit so it would keep running and it only took a minute for the problem to be identified and fixed. It was one of those "why didnt I think of that moments" when I was told what was wrong. There was no charge at all for the service call!

Woke up this morning with the temperature outside in the 20's and our house was 55 degrees. It was a Saturday and the furnace decided to stop working. Contacted Bart at Calibrating Air Heating & Cooling Inc. at 8am and was at my house our house before you knew it. Within 20 minutes he had the furnace up and running, now it is nice and toasty in the house on a cold winter day. As retired military, professionalism is highly important to us and Bart was very professional, friendly, and courteous. The prices as compared to other companies was extremely reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend this company for any of your heating and cooling needs. Calibrating Air Heating & Cooling is now our go to company.

We purchased a 25 year old home in 2012 that had its original forced air furnace. The furnace was not working properly during the home inspection, but cleaning and servicing seemed to fix the issues. We had the seller get a home warranty just in case. In Feb, 2013, the furnace quit working. Bart, the owner of Calibrating Air, was sent out by a home warranty company to check the issue. He first checked the heat exchange for cracks using a very effective method I hadn't seen before. He located cracks and gave a quote on a new furnace. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient with my incessant questions, and was not at all pushy about his business doing the installation. He also took the time to talk with the home warranty folks to ensure they were going to cover their portion. It was estimated that the work would take a full day and possibly go into the next day. I hired his company to do the installation, along with installation of a new cold air return, supply register, and humidifier. His son and an employee came on the scheduled day and got right to work. They finished all the work in about 7 hours. It looks great and our overly cold basement is much cozier now. The inspection passed without a hitch. I would not hesitate to hire Calibrating again and highly recommend them!

I was considering replacing the boiler but he convinced me that it did not need to be replaced and that it would be better to put money into windows and insulation than my trusty old boiler. He is a really great guy and I recommend him. I appreciated his honesty and I recommended him to someone else who liked him too. He is really good and returns calls.

We started using Calibrating Air for all our furnace needs shortly after we moved to Colorado Springs almost 9 years ago. They have been honest, trustworthy, on time and have done the job right every time. The Father/Son team in the field is backed up by wife/mom in the office. Whenever I have called and had to leave a message, they always call me back promptly. They have taken great care of our furnace, put in a special air cleaner to help with my husband's allergies and added a humidifier for us. They always explain any repairs needed and never push us to spend money that isn't necessary. Their prices are very reasonable. This past summer we finally gave in to the heat and added central Air Conditioning. Of course I called Calibrating Air. Their price was very competitive and I already knew that I trusted them to do the job right. They came in and got the entire job done in one day (including coordinating the electrician) and we slept comfortably that night. Ahhhhh! That felt so good! They are always very careful to keep your home clean and to clean up after themselves. Plus they are just pleasant, good people! I wouldn't even consider using anyone else!

As always, calibrating air was on time, professional & very reasonably priced. we've used them before & will continue to call them when we have problems.
