Their technician, Brandon arrived as scheduled and was very careful to cover his work boots prior to entering the house.

He assessed the problem in very professional and knowledgeable manner. He carefully explained the problem and what needed to be done to correct it. After the new part was installed he ran assorted test to ensure that our system was operating as it should.

We would not hesitate to hire them again. Their service was exceptional.

We have an condo with an older furnace and A/C unit.  The A/C has not been working for a while.  I had two of the bigger companies out that told us that they could not repair it and that we would have to replace the furnace and the a/c at quite an expense.  I called Calibrating Air and made an appointment for another opinion.  We made the appointment for 3-5 with the arrangement that they would call 1/2 before the tech was to show up.  I did get the call and Brandon showed up promptly.  He inspected everything and went up on the roof to inspect the unit itself.  He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and explained everything to us about the furnace and the A/C unit.  He was able to make some adjustments, add coolant and check the pressure and we now have air conditioning that is working.  We know it is a patch for a while and he was very upfront about this, but we totally appreciated the effort and honesty and we will be using Calibrating Air for this condo and our houses from this point on.  Everyone we dealt with from the ladies in the office to Brandon who did the work were all extremely helpful, polite and professional. I would recommend the to anyone and everyone!!!!

First let me say that when it comes to getting quotes from contractors that some of them are very uncomfortable and too pushy for me and my wife to deal with.  Our experience with Calibrating Air Heating & Cooling was nothing like that and far better than we had anticipated.  I expected to be sold on something that we didn't need nor want.  In fact other contractors that came to our home did try to sell us those ?other things?, but Brandon from Calibrating Air was completely opposite.  He didn't tell us that we HAD to have this or HAD to have that, he asked us what we wanted to do then gave us several options to choose from based on OUR needs and not his.  I can also say that his quote was thousands less than the other contractors for better equipment.  I was leery about the lower quote at first as the old saying of ?you get what you pay for? was running through my head but Brandon explained that they do not have the higher operating costs that some contractors have which means they can pass on the savings to their customers.
When it came to installation day the workers were on time, courteous, and very knowledgeable on what they were here to do. On day 1 they removed the existing equipment then installed the water heater first which was needed for baths, washing dishes, showers, etc.  They also installed the furnace so that we would have heat that night.  Not that it was cold enough for the heater but it was nice to have it just in case.  On day 2 they installed the air conditioner which required work in the basement as well as the installation of the condenser outside.  At no time during the installation were the workers loud, or inappropriate, they were professional and engaging whenever I had questions about the installation.  I?m a do-it-yourselfer myself so I like to know what?s going on and they were eager and willing to explain the details which was very much appreciated.
The county inspectors came 2 weeks later to inspect the installation and we passed with flying colors.
We would highly recommend Calibrating Air Heating & Cooling to anyone that needs to have repairs to their existing equipment or new installations.

Bart, Brandon and their team are simply phenomenal! I am extremely picky about the folks I choose and Bart and his team so exceeded my expectations. Installed a 96% efficient furnace (replaced a 31 yr old furnace), new a/c, humidifier, electronic air filtration system, and internet enabled electronic thermostat. Literally transformed the air quality and comfort of my house. These guys are AWESOME people of integrity and their work quality and professionalism is unparalleled!!!

The whole install, from setting up the appointment to completion, was quick and there were no problems at all.  The office staff is courteous and professional and so are the technicians who performed the install.  They will always call you "Mr." or "Mrs" and your last name, even if you introduce yourself by your first name, which is a nice touch, actually.  They realize that you are spending a lot of money and they truly give you your money's worth from start to finish.  The technicians, this time for me were Steve and Chris.  They showed up on time, had everything needed to complete the installation, were dressed neatly in the company uniforms and were able to finish the job by the end of the day.  When they were finished they left the install area even cleaner than when they arrived.  I really like doing business with Calibrating Air because they always treat me right in that they do what they say they will do, can always be reached by phone to answer any questions or concerns and they always follow up with a phone call to thank me for my business and to make certain that all work was done to my complete satisfaction.  As a side note, both the mechanical inspector from Pikes Peak Building Department and the electrical inspector were both impressed by the quality of the work done. The mechanical inspector was impressed that the entire outside length of copper line set tubing was covered and protected with a length of metal panel which I will be able to paint to match the house wall color; this was above and beyond any local code. The electrical inspector looked at the connections and within about 30 seconds was done telling me "OK, have a nice day!"

I would recommend Calibrating Air to any of my family and friends without reservations.  You will not be disappointed but rather quite impressed with the quality of work and the value you will receive.

Lost furnace operation late one night , furnace fan would operate but no heat( no ignition). After personal research/troubleshooting the problem pointed to a bad circuit board in HVAC system but I am not an expert. We called Calibrating Air Heating & Cooling and (Bart) responded to our home and also diagnosed the problem to a circuit board and suggested the draft motor sounded bad and should be replace also. Bart replaced the board/ motor and after a few hours the system was back up and running. Great experience, personable, professional, and cleaned up after the job...Important! Highly Recommended

We had the igniter in our heater go out around 3 PM on a cold Saturday, I called everywhere and was unable to find an igniter for the furnace to put in myself. I called the HVAC supply on El Paso and Fillmore and they told me they wouldn't have an igniter in until the following day, I called a couple places to see if they would sell me just the igniter and was told no. We have a home warranty so I called my warranty company and they told me they could have someone out on Monday, when I told them we needed heat today they gave me the number to calibrating air who they are contracted with. After explaining my situation Bart came out to my house within a couple hours, he was very professional, explained everything in detail, and even supplied a warranty on the replaced part. Service I received was excellent, above and beyond anything I've ever experienced ( I lived in Phoenix and had AC service quarterly). I will always call these guys first.

I do not know the date of last contact.   They bent over backwards to work with us. Because they could not install the new furnace right away, they installed a new fan so the old furnace would work until they could come.  We later had them back to install an electrostatic furnace filter that will clean the air in the entire house.  They are very professional.  The price given is for the furnace installation.

I first found Calibrating Air 4 years ago when they came out to replace a blower motor on my old furnace.  At that time my house had a Blue Ribbon home warranty as we had just bought the house.  I was impressed with the quality of the work and after finding out more about this family owned company from Brandon, who is part owner with his father Bart, I decided to keep their phone number for future use.  I had them out again this fall to give my existing furnace a tune-up and we got to talking about the newer furnaces and water heaters since mine was 23 years old and the water heater was 14 years old.  They gave me information on new equipment without any "sales pressure" whatsoever.  After thinking about it for a month or so I decided the time was right to get new equipment.  I had the pleasure of watching the whole team come out  (Bart, Brandon, Steve and William) at one time or another over the course of 2 days in order to finish the job for me in the 2 days before Christmas.  Each one was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional and worked on my house as if it were their own, taking the time to make the install functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend Calibrating Air without reservations to any of my friends and family.  Also, the office staff of Connie and Bonnie are very friendly and professional and will make it a priority  to get one of the techs out to your house ASAP if your heater does stop working.  I have been very pleased with this company.

Brandon and Will arrived promptly and quickly.    The issue was resolved efficiently.   They were friendly and knowledgeable.  I asked many questions and they provided me good information about my heater's operation and efficiency.   They also provided good advice on thermostat settings.  I plan on using their services in the future.

The owner, Bart Ferguson, came to our house and gave us the best out of four estimates.  He came again, with his son, who would be doing the work, to take measurements and go over the installation with him.  They were both friendly and professional.
The installation took all day and into the evening because Brandon(Bart's son) and his co-worker William encountered a fair bit of difficulty drilling through, by chance, a very difficult cinder block and relocating the new thermostat.  They were determined to finish the installation that day and did, very satisfactorily. 
What a difference!  We live in a 1955 house in Manitou Springs that has no insulation.  The Rheem modulating furnace that they installed has been working beautifully.  The new thermostat keeps an even temperature partly by circulating the air in the house all the time.

Bart arrived onsite on time and came prepared with necessary equipment to repair our furnace. He inspected our furnace and expained the cause of the furnace problem and provided the resolution to fix it. He was thorough and the job was completed timely and to our satisfaction. We would certianly use Calibrating Air again.

Bart came quickly to see why our furnace was not working.  The part that had malfunctioned was not technically under warranty anymore, but he felt it should have lasted longer than it had, so he extended the warranty to us anyway!

I loved them. I wish they did everything. I wish they could do plumbing, electrical and home repairs. They were so great. I think they won an award last year and they should win another one this year because I can't say enough good things about them. They were just so polite. They kept coming in and saying, "we found this", at one point it was a nickel. So I mean they're just ethical and just really nice.

Very professional, worked quickly. Very friendly with me, kids, dog. Wore shoe covers when in house.

Everything went very smoothly and the service was exceptional!

Very professional and knowledgeable.  The fix for my air conditioner was an inexpensive replacement part.  I appreciate this honest assessment of the problem and keeping the cost at a minimum.  He also spent time giving me information on keeping the conditioner working properly and gave me ideas on how to get the temperatures upstairs and in the basement more regulated.   I also appreciate the courteous service and the fact he covered his shoes whenever he entered the house. 



I am going to set up scheduled maintenance with this company to keep the system working properly.  There was no pressure to upsell different products available.  He did answer questions about issues I brought up and gave me information on some remedies.  I am going to have the company install a couple of ad-ons to my AC/Heating system to improve the air quality in the house.

Called within 3 hours they were here, fixed the problem & left.
