Conventional wood/brick fireplace. Anthony did a good job installing a new damper (on top of the chimney, with chain going down to firebox) after removing the old stuck rusted original damper in the fireplace opening. Also cleaned the chimney Anthony is easy to get along with and professional. He had to reschedule the initial appointment due to wind/weather concerns, but let me know the day before, then showed up promptly for the rescheduled appointment a day later.

Very knowledgeable and professional and while also being friendly and helpful. Anthony did excellent work and gave great advice. I would recommend him to anyone needing either chimney or dryer vents cleaned.

Anthony was very professional and explained our options. Ultimately, our situation was one that he could not help us with due to existing circumstances and he did not charge us a trip fee which was very nice.

We hired anthony last November 2021. after numerous missed appt and no show/no calls, we requested our $1000.00 deposit back since they never did any work for us. We have been chasing this money since late December almost 4 months ago. They went so far as to send a picture of the refund check and said it was in the mail. 6 weeks later still no money. We have called/emailed/texted/certified mailed our request for our refund and a resolution to this situation. What a terrible experience!Completely unethical. Stay clear of this business.

Very expensive and didn?t perform much of a cleaning but I?m counting on his inspection keeping our fireplace safe. He installed a very effective damper that is easy to use.

We first met at the end of August to get a quote. A few days later we contacted Anthony to say we will go forward with the job, and you immediately came out to collect the 400.00 deposit. You said the part should be ordered and ready for installation within a week. A few weeks later you came, and it was the wrong size. You had to order a new piece. You decided to knock off 100.00 from the final amount. After many calls/texts asking for an update, and excuses due to weather of why you can do it that week, finally in mid-October the Cap was installed. You claimed and wrote on our invoice that there is a 10-year warranty. You said you would comeback and water seal it. Never did. Not even three weeks later did the wind blow it off. If it was properly installed and sealed it would not have blown off. I let you know right away, and you said you would come out to look at it. Never did. You kept using the excuses of you were either waiting for the part to be recut or a technician came out, but the roof was too icy. We have security cameras on our house and have record of no one stopping by. Finally, by the end of December you claimed you would give us a 500.00 refund and that the check is in the mail. After numerous texts, calls, emails you finally said the check was put in the mail 1/28/2022 and if it did not come by mid-week (roughly 2/9/22) let you know, and a technician will come drop it off. We NEVER heard from you again. You ignored our calls, texts, and emails. We are accruing more damage to the chimney structure because it is now 100% exposed to water damage and raccoons. If you did not want to fix it, why did you say you would and why would you state you have a 10-year warranty, did not even last 3 weeks. You NEVER gave us a 500.00 discount so that is FALSE. In total I have had to reach out to you at least 30 times, text, phone log and emails will prove that. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had in my life. You also claimed that a previous company caused damage. The only other person who came out, ONLY cleaned out the racoon poop so that to is FALSE. They did not do any work to the structure!!! What is worse is you claim to be a Christian but are not conducting yourself as one. Galatian 6-10 READ IT!!! UPDATE 03-22-2022 After 4 months we received the $500 check that we were promised

Anthony came and inspected furnace and told us the chimney did not require a cleaning. INstead of going thru the motion s of cleaning the chimney and charging us $175 unnecessarily, he honestly informed us it did not require a cleaning. We certainly appreciate such honesty and integrity these days!! Thanks Anthony!

After 3 missed appointments missed he did offer to refund money of a $400.00 deposit for parts that he had said by email was in stock. Then on day of install they were the wrong parts. Has said bookkeeper will send a refund. It has never arrived and he will not answer phone calls or return emails. John K

I hired Anthonys Chimney to repair my fireplace cap after reading all of the positive reviews. I gave a $750 deposit. After nearly 2 months, zero work has been performed, 2 appointments delayed due to weather, 2 appointments delayed due to material supply issues, and 2 no-show appointments. I believe my deposit is being returned. l will update the review when I receive my deposit back. Best of luck in your repair search. Update: I received my deposit back yesterday. (12/07). Nearly 3 months after giving them my money. Blatantly false? I do not think so. You failed to show on 2 appointments, dates and times you picked, with no phone calls or texts to explain why and you would not return my calls or texts. Even after everything went south I offered to let you do the job and I would update my review to reflect my experience. Again, no response. When you threatened with an attorney because I filed a negative review, the only way I was able to get my deposit back was to get HomeAdvisor involved. Thank you HomeAdvisor!

Absolutely awesome! Only one that called me AND the only one that has done the job right!!!! I highly recommend Anthony to anyone !! He sat with me walked me through the process showed me all along the way and started a fire to make sure all was good ! Exceptional!!!! So happy!!
