I had two different quotes for this job. The competing vendor told me that I needed to install a cap. Anthony's Chimney Sweeps inspected and found I already had a cap. He saved me from being charged for a Chimney cap that I didn't need. I really enjoyed working with Anthony. He not only showed me the cracks in the old panels after replacing them, but he also painted the new panels to prevent them from being stained. He is very friendly and professional. I will definitely keep him in mind when I need to have my Chimney cleaned, inspected, or repaired in the future.

I feel like I spent $125 for him to just drive up to Longmont. He didn't even get up on the roof or clean the chimney. He said there is a lot of creosote built and the damper wasn't installed correctly. Then he said it would be about $1000 or so to get it taken care of. He said I could get a second opinion, so I am going to do that. He was very friendly and kept us updated. He rescheduled our original appointment time to an earlier time, then showed up half an hour earlier than that time.

While I hired them to clean my chimney I was only charged for an inspection since the chimney chase was cleaner than I thought. The inspection revealed some small cracking issues in the fire box which I now know to watch for further damage. Anthony was very honest and explained everything he was doing. He even offered advice on how to better maintain the fireplace.

Recently, Anthony's Chimney Sweeps inspected my fireplaces. They were knowledgeable, honest and professional. They also clean dryer vents, so I will make an appointment for that service in the next couple of weeks. C. Threet

I hired Anthony for a soot issue coming from the woodstove chimney, he came and cleaned the chimney, charging $175 for about a 10' chimney. All seemed well that day in August. He identified the cause of the soot coming into the house, and priced and quoted a price to correct the issue. We scheduled Sep 01 for the work, nearing that date, he called and asked to postpone and reschedule. Later there was some stated confusion on the reschedule date, and a week or so later we got a new date of Sep 28. I took the day off work, and the day came and went, when I called Anthony, he seemed to express surprise that there was a no-show, he said he'd call the office. That was the last time he would talk to me. So it seems obvious that something either with me or my project is no longer up to his standard for work. I've left dozens of messages, asking to reschedule. At one point in late October, I even called Homeadvisor, to see if he was injured and not taking business. Homeadvisor called and he called them back while I was still on the phone with Homeadvisor, he asked the agent, "Why is he calling you?", but told the agent he would call me. Nope, still hasn't. Messages to Anthony through the Homeadvisor app, go unanswered. Phone calls to his business phone number go direct to voicemail, detailed messages left are never returned. Other reviews here on Homeadvisor's website, indicate communications issues with other projects. He won't tell me what my issue or lack of reaching his standard is, as HE WON"T TALK TO ME, through any method I've tried over months of trying. We heat the west end of the house with the wood stove, with soot still falling and dropping on the stove, even though there had been no fire built in the stove, makes me wonder how well that 10' could have been cleaned. We waited weeks and weeks to start a fire in that stove. Bottom line, the stove cleaning, when finished did not correct the primary issue, that I had been trying to use his service for, which was to find and correct the soot coming into the house. Then he would not, for some unknown reason, come back and do the work he wrote up, or even talk to me about what was going on. The day he was here, we seemed to have a good time, but then, something, who knows what, changed for him to consider me or my project a worthy customer issue, as he won't talk about it.

Anthony is a very honest business man!!! He took the time to tell us what we needed and what we really didnâ t need for our fireplace!!!! I highly recommend him for any of your needs!!!!

Anthony is a very honest person! He told me I didnâ t need the full chimney clean because mine was already in a safe clean state. After only charging a small inspection fee he was on his way. When I need that full chimney clean I will be going to Anthony for sure!
