He was on time, very polite, quick and I believe did a very good job.

Our main garage door started hanging on close, requiring patience to ensure it would close completely. I contacted Mike from A Better Garage Door to inquire about suggestions for replacement and pricing. Responses were prompt and informative. Josh was the installer, showing up at the scheduled time and reviewing all services to be performed. All services were completed in a timely manner and reviewed with us to ensure we were satisfied. In fact I forgot to inquire about the HomeLink compatibility with the new openers, reached out to Mike at which time Josh made a return visit to install a HomeLink repeater and ensure everything worked as designed. We couldn't be happier with the work that was completed nor with the professional nature of both Mike and Josh. We will definitely contact them in the future for any additional services and would not hesitate to refer them to any friends or family.

These guys were great. On time, polite, proffessional and they new exactly what they were doing. We love the new door. I would definetly use them again and recommend them to friends.

The 2 men were prompt and courteous. They worked in extremely hot weather and did it in the time estimated. They were amazing at fitting everything in just right, like a jigsaw puzzle which kept us from having to rent a bigger unit.

Very helpful and friendly. I asked a lot of questions - they gave good info. Good personality to work with customers! Seemed very knowledgable. I didn't get other estimates so I assume good price but I was very happy with them and would definitely refer friends and neighbors to them.

Mike's crew was able to get everything gathered up, and arrived the same day (Monday) promptly at the time arranged. They proceeded to tear out all the old, ugly stuff, and install the shiny, new, insulated door, track, opener, and outside keypad. They cleaned up, polished the door, explained several things, handed over the new remotes, loaded the garbage (i.e. old door etc.), onto their truck, and waved goodbye. We love operating the door - which just softly hums as it reliably goes up and down. If anyone needs a new garage door, we would recommend this company!

I was very pleased with the work. He was a trustworthy fellow. I left him my garage door opener and he did what was necessary, which wasn't very much. He was good enough to leave the garage door opener where I had left it for him. There was no problems. He did a fine job. I've had no problems with the door.

I can't remember the cost, but the work was excellent and I highly recommend this company. They had to remove an old door, reframe the area and install a new double door.

They replaced a broken spring and tuned the door. It is smooth and quiet, like brand new.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a service provider! I called three different places and only Mike called me back. Not only did he call me back, he came out the same day to talk about what I wanted. He was very professional and informative, providing me with all my options AND a time frame. The price was straightforward, all parts and labor included. When I let him know I was ready to move ahead, he called the factory to confirm my door was available and was able to come out the next day! The installers were great too! They showed up on time, had everything they needed and hauled away my old door. VERY happy with the work that was done and I would definitely recommend this company!

They never got back to us of what they were going to choose for us. They were going to give us information about what to do next because it was broken and they never called back. But he was supposed to call back and give us some suggestions in what he was going to do, he was looking into finding replacement panel or discount or something on a new garage door and they never called us back. We weren't pleased with that. They were fine when they were here but they didn't follow through. The price was good.

Prompt to early. Very personable, did what he said he was going to do in about half of the time I expected him to do it. Would definitely use them again.

Quick polite job is done right on time

It went great. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He gave me my options, and I went with the less expensive (he said it would be about $250 depending on how long it took). Final cost with 10% Angies List discount was actually only $180. The door works great.

Our service person came out and in a very short time fixed our garage door and even checked our other door.

Now our garage opens so smoothly and quietly. Very prompt and knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with. We will call them when needed in the future. Replaced the pad that was broken.

Scheduling the appointment was painless. Arrived promptly on time. Very friendly. Also offered to make it even quieter for the room above the garage by replacing the opener mounts with rubber mounts. I am an extremely satisfied customer and will use Mike again.

He arrived on time to do the tune up, I told him that I needed him to fix the door instead, and he cheerfully did (as well as checked all the wheels, motor etc). The brace isn't quite straight, but it is straight enough to support the door properly. Personally, I don't see how it could be totally straightened without totally replacing the thing. When he was done I asked what I could do to keep out the rain, and he explained the weather stripping. I asked him to do it for me, since he was here, and he did. There was an additional small charge, of course, but he was well within reason. He was prompt, cheerful, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help in any way I asked. Thank you Angie!

Punctual. Quick turn around. I didn't get other estimates but the price seemed reasonable for scope of work. Two guys that work for Mike did the actual work, here for 3.5 hours. They cleaned up garage after the job and wiped down door. Also let me know about recommended maintenance . Would recommend this company.
