A Better Garage Door

The serviceman arrived within the scheduled time frame on the scheduled day and went to work adjusting and lubricating the rollers and hinges. He also had to adjust the door travel to provide a better seal between the door and garage floor. The door worked very nicely after the tune-up, The serviceman was very polite and also explained the job details and asked if we had any questions about the service or door operation. I know I found the company to use when I need garage door service again.

They put it in and everything turned out well.

Lubricated and inspected door. Their representative was notably courteous and professional, clearly intelligent, and quite informative. The cost was certainly affordable--much more so than the usual garage door lube call. My door functions admirably now, and when I buy a new one I will definitely give priority to A Better Garage Door as the likely provider.

What a nice experience!.....Mike called PRONTO and we set up an appointment. When Josh came out, he gave me a full evaluation regarding my garage doors. He went right to work and completely "tuned" up the doors making them operate more smoothly and MUCH quieter!....He did a fantastic job and would DEFINITELY recommend A Better Garage Door to anyone interested in good quality work, good price point, and professional service.

Great! I asked for a super quiet garage door because the master is right above the garage. I came home yesterday to a nice, shiny new door and a side mount that is ultra quiet. Because I just moved in, the guys also had to work around all the boxes, and they did a fantastic job moving everything around neatly. And the install looks like it was done by a perfectionist. Fantastic.

Called to schedule at 7:00 am, made appt for 12-2 same day, arrived at 12, done at 12:30. Needed a BROKEN SPRING replaced. Also inspected/lubed system. No problems. Great fast service.

My sensor were malfunctioning. The service was quick. However, I was offered a bunch of other things to fix my garage door that were truly unnecessary at the time. Otherwise this was a quick service, albeit a little pricey.

Mike, the owner responded to my email request for an estimate within 24 hours. He sent a tech out to look at our existing doors, and provided some literature and explained the different options and quality of doors. I was able to select the doors I wanted and that were in my price range. Mike ordered the doors and told me the exact lead time, he said the doors would arrive on the 12th and they could install them on the13th, and that is exactly what they did! The technicians that arrived to do the install where experienced installers, both 18+ years in the garage door business! It showed in their final product, they removed all the old doors and materials and installed the new doors, rails and springs, taking time to make sure the doors worked properly/smoothly, testing and adjusting until they felt confident the doors were functioning without any problems. Overall it was a great experience and Mike ensured me that If there were any issues with the doors, that I could call him and h would come over and address any issues, I am confident that we won't have issues. I would highly recommend A Better Garage Door, nice work!

They were good for what they advertised. They recommended to do some installation and I found them more expensive than everybody else so I just used them for the inspection.

Fixed the squeak, replaced bearings in track, made adjustments.

Prompt arrival after calling. Issue was diagnosed quickly, and I was given different options to choose from. Price, considering the amount of work and parts, seemed fair. Would definitely recommend.

Mike got there on time and was very professional (he dropped a cell phone call as soon as I walked out to greet him). We walked around and looked at all the doors and, although there was some rust showing on a few of the rollers, he agreed that I could wait on replacing them so I did not feel like I was being upsold. He performed all the normal stuff and found that one of the door openers was coming loose from the ceiling. Everything was fixed up.

The work was done in a timely manner and solved multiple issues with the functioning of our garage door. We were not pressured to purchase additional work or upgrade our existing equipment. We did decide to have them return and add some weatherstripping to the bottom of the door because there was a bit of space on each corner (one the door was leveled). We are very pleased with the work done and will make them our garage door 'go-to' from now on.

Quickly returned our initial call, was able to schedule a visit for the following day. When I was delayed and couldn't be there at the scheduled time, I called to let them know. I was concerned this would be a problem, but it was not. Instead, they were willing and able to switch another scheduled stop with ours--no fuss. I was very appreciative! When Josh arrived, he quickly assessed the problem, gave me an estimate, and proceeded with the repair. He was friendly and professional, and got the work done quickly, for what I felt was fair price. He also checked out a second door and did some preventative maintenance on both. Overall, I was very happy with the service.

I called to make an appointment and Mike (the owner) answered the call. I explained my problem and Mike gave me a replacement quote over the phone. The price was right. We set a two hour appointment window. Joshua arrived about 15 minutes into the two hour window. He was polite and prfoseesional. I gave home the tour of the garage and told him about what happened. I indicated that it was hard to get the door up to get my car out and he immediately showed me what the problem was, a broken spring. I hadn't even noticed that. He told me what the cost would be to replace the spring. He estimated that the spring replacement would be about 1/2 hour and the new door opener would take about 1&1/2 hours. I agred to the new quote and he immedately started to work. Two hours later Joshua was finished. All of the old garage door opener was gone, the garage was clean, and Joshua had lubed the rollers. He took me through the features of the door opener, the programming of the keypad, and answered all of my questions. Joshua suggested that I pay attention to the rollers as that might need replacement in a few years and he told me what I should watch out for. My experience with "A Better Garage Door" was great from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and I would use them again in a flash. A highly professional team!

Scheduling the appointment was easy. Josh showed up on time. He answered my questions. He let me know of upcoming maintenance but didn't try to convince me to do anything now that doesn't need to be done. He was knowledgeable and friendly.

Great company to work with from beginning to end.

I called and spoke with Mike as soon as they opened that morning. I leave for work early, so was unable to go to work until I could get out of the garage. He was able to come over about an hour later! He was very professional and very nice. He was able to replace the spring and check everything else out and made sure it was in working order. I was very pleased with the promptness and quality of the service. I would definitely call him again.

This company was great. First phone call was returned promptly and Mike came out that same day to inspect the old door. Explained everything that would be replaced and was shown a sample of the door. Quality of door was great! Could not beat the price for such a quality door so we had them install a brand new door. Love it! Door is so quiet going up and down. No problems at all after install. If you are looking to install a new door, go with this company. I spent a lot of time shopping around and no other company could compare with customer service, quality and comparable in price!
