They were good. They ended up coming and I had to call the owner to see if they were still coming but once they got there, everything went fine. They were pretty responsive. We ended up having to move the appointment because of a snow storm and I called them in the evening and they answered and we rescheduled so they were definitely helpful when I called. They just got stuck in a accident in the highway and I was hoping that they would have called to let me know but they ended up showing up a little bit late. The work turned out good. I don't know if I would know one way or the other, it's not my expertise but it seems fine.

Not one complaint or bad attitude, as a matter of fact, he was very nice and very professional!!! This is the way a company should take care of their customers!!!

I purchased an Angie's list deal for a garage door tune up. Mike got back to me promptly, worked with me to accommodate my schedule, was pleasant to deal with. He did a thorough job adjusting the garage door, springs, bolts and even worked a little longer to get the weather seal sealed up as much as possible. When the opener was acting up a little he maintained a positive attitude and worked through it till everything was ship shape. Only suggestion would be give customer a piece of paper showing/ listing all you did so that the value of maintenance is even more evident. Lubricant smell is strong- air out garage after you have this service done.

I have purchase a Angie list Big deal for a 39 dollar garage door tune up through A Better Garage Door Co. I bought 1-10. The transaction went very smooth. I was contacted by A Better Garage Company and we settle on them coming out a 830 am on 1/14. The tech showed up at 8.28 and was very professional . He turned up by garage door and was done in about 30 min/ I would use them again!

We purchased an Winterization Deal for our garage doors. I got a response the next day to set up an appointment. Josh arrived promptly at 1:00. He adjusted the doors and made them work better than they ever had. We mentioned that the door was heavy and he showed us the spring was old and worn out. He didn't try and push a sale but informed us it would need to be replaced in the future. Since he mentioned he had the replacement part on the truck we asked him to replace it. On the second door he made it stop squeaking and adjusted it so it was extremely quiet. He had us listen to the door go up and we could hear a clicking noise. He informed us this is from the rollers and explained that they get worn out too. Again he had them on his truck and replaced them in just a few minutes. I was so impressed by the whole service call! After a small delay in delivery by the manufacturer due to the color I chose, I arranged for an installation date. The installers showed up promptly and had the job finished in about 4 hours. A minor adjustment was needed the next day, so I contacted Mike, he arrived very quickly, and made the adjustment. Mike had previously installed a new garage door opener for me which also went smoothly. Compared to the original cheap builders door, the new door and rails looks and works great! No wonder Mike gets the reviews he does.

Within 24 hours they came to quote on schedule, recommended a plan, then returned a day later to install (they've could have done it on 1st visit but I wanted a bigger motor than stock. Took just over an hour. Came in on estimate. I've used 10-12 vendors from Angie's List in 2 years, almost all have been good. A Better Garage Door are among the top pros I have worked with. I recommend them based on the work done on our heavy custom garage door at short notice just before holidays. Didn't hurt that they were very pleasant to deal with, too.

It went great- the epitomy of customer service! Mike answered by panicked call and come over that afternoon. My door was hanging off the tracks in mid air and it wasn't pretty. He gave us several options and recommendations. The door was ordered, replaced and completely finished in two days. Very friendly, very courteous and reminded me to purchase their Angie's list coupon. If you have to replace a garage door - and I hope you don't! - use A Better Garage Door :)

Mike responded to my request for service in a timely fashion. He set the appointment and showed up at the day and time he said he would. He quickly made the assessment of what needed to be done and performed all necessary adjustments and services. He did not try and up sell his services, instead he pointed out what might need to be done in the future. He was very courteous. I will use him again for any garage door work I need done.

I wanted a garage door with a belt drive, remotes, and a key pad installed in my new home. The ceiling is quite high and oddly shaped. I was unsure of what 'extra' parts an installer would need. Home Depot and Sears claimed to have lower prices, but were going to charge me on installation day for an extras. This company gave me a flat price for the install that included the unit, taxes, delivery, installation, and any extras they may need. They showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up and in the end I have exactly what I wanted. The opener is super quite and smooth. I couldn't be happier with the work. A+

He was great! He didn't charge any extra for the repair. He scheduled the appointment for between 10 and 12. I confirmed and noted that closer to 10 was better for me. He was here before 10:30. Very friendly, efficient, and didn't try to talk me into anything.

Adjusted our garage doors, replaced the roofers for both doors and lubricated same. Work and sound like new doors now!

That one went well, although it turned out there really wasn't anything wrong with my door but I'm glad he came by anyway. He was a really nice guy. I felt comfortable around him. I would call them again. Their pricing was very fair.

The garage now rolls like it should and I can see that all the little pivot points on the door were oiled/lubed, as well as the chain. He also did the other small garage door since he had the oil/lube out already, which was a nice surprise since I thought he was only doing the main garage door. The original service was $39, but I figured that some parts might be needed and expected the total to be around $100. That's usually how these "get me in the house" coupons work, but I am ok with that. I could have easily said 'no' to the roller replacement recommendation, and would have had the original oil/lube/tuneup completed as expected under the $39 original coupon, so there is no trick to this coupon. Great job, fast response after buying coupon, and professional.

I had previously asked another pro to quote the fixes, and he said my door was fine and I just needed new lifters. It seemed clear to me that springs were bad so I called these guys. Mike assessed the job quickly, and accurately. He did the job immediately and my doors work perfectly now.

"Big Mike" was prompt, courteous, and friendly. He completed the work quickly and my garage doors are operating again. He did not try to "up sell" me on additional services. So far I am pleased with the work and will likely use him again.
