Description of Work: Needed to replace the shut-off valves underneath my bathroom sink, which was leaking. They would not give me a price estimate over the phone to my disappointment, so that made it hard for me to compare prices. Their trip charge was $39, so I thought that was pretty reasonable. The plumber did show up on time (even early), and I think did a good job of replacing the shut off valves. It took him a little less than an hour to do the job. I was shocked at the final bill. This was a fairly simple fix which did not take long to do. I thought the price was very excessive. I, therefore, will probably not use them again.

 + -1 moreIt was ok. It was a little slower then I had thought it would take. They ran into a few problems, but they did do some drain cleaning for free because of it. I would use them again. The guy works really well and did his best to get it done and worked around my schedule.
Description of Work: I had them put in five shutoff valves and they also did some drain cleaning.

Quoted me a rate before I started which was considerably higher than last time I had this done by Garvin's 2 1/2 years ago... I think their price ($258 for the hour!) was too high. But job was done for price quoted, cleaned up well.

 + -1 moreHorrid. Overcharged (possibly by double) --- even though they state they do not charge extra for Saturday service. Serviceman tried to convince me of doing more work than I thought was necessary. He was rude and unprofessional. I had to clean up after him. After work was performed, I called 3 other plumbers to get their charges. They came in between $150-180. Owner - Howard - was very defensive and dismissed my complaint(s).
Description of Work: Fixing bathtub drain leak and replacement of some parts of toilet.

 + -1 moreIT WAS A RELIEF TO GET THE SEWER LINE UNCLOGGED. I WORKED DIRECTLY WITH THE PLUMBER IN HELPING HIM WITH HIS MACHINERY. HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND HE WAS CLEAN. HE UNFORTUNATELY SCRATCHED THE TOILET WITH THE LARGE AUGER. THIS WAS THE ONLY PLUMBER APPROVED BY TOM MARTINO IN THE YELLOW PAGES!!!
Description of Work: SNAKED OUT A UTILITY SINK DRAIN THAT WAS CLOGGED UP. THEY UTILIZED 2 DIFFERENT AUGERS, THE SMALL ONE FOR THE UTILITY SINK AND THE LARGE ONE FOR THE MAIN LINE.
