Discovered ancient sink valves stuck open while starting bathroom remodel. Called at 8:30 AM. Gave ETA 11A-2P. A dispatcher called back at 10A to say someone would arrive at 10:30A. Bill P. gave an estimate from a pricing book and offered a discount one-year membership program. He didn't hard sell the program and demonstrated that the program would pay for itself in this visit: $13 savings this time plus $25 off next appointment. Because we have a good deal of remodeling planned, it made sense to go with the program. Bill was in and out in about 45 minutes. He cleaned up after himself, and showed me how the water supply hoses should be hooked up. The only possible negative aspect was the number of times he kept mentioning the other services Bell provides. The price matched the estimate. We'll use them again.

This technician was professional, knowledgable and courteous the entire time. He answered all my questions, graciously, and performed the work quickly and neatly.Taking enough time to explain why the problem was happening, (water was leaking out from under the base of the toilet) and he didn't mind my watching him work at all. He showed up wearing blue shoes guards at my door, and was great from the start! I wholeheartedly recommend Bell Plumbing, from the person I spoke with on the phone to make the appointment, to the dispatcher and to the Specialist, they were all professional and courteous. They also called to follow-up to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. I recommend Bell Plumbing wholeheartedly!

It took a long time because he was under the house to make sure that the furnace wasn?t leaking. He did a good job. We were quite confident that he was careful and did the work that we requested. He was able to just fix it and he didn?t have to replace it. He saved us the cost of the new furnace by taking his time to make sure that we didn?t need to replace.

They usually do a great job. They come right away. They are quality people, who are very polite. They have integrity with their work. We have always liked them.

That turned out fine so far. They seem to have changed their approach in that they will come out to give you a quote and they will not charge you unless they do the work. The last one that came out was helpful and took time to explain things.

They have specific guys for each trade. I?ll use nobody else but them.

Whenever we have used Bell has been very satisfactory. They did what was asked satisfactorily. They did neat work. They didn?t leave a mess. They showed up on time.

They have come for plumbing repairs. They installed and under the sink water filter for me.

I don't remember having any problems. They were very prompt. The cost was as they estimated. I was pleased with the result.

Was told they do not give estimates over phone only at site due to "new pricing plan." I mentioned last time the service cost $165 and wanted same thing done. They sent someone out, this service now starts at over $300 - most people probably would have paid as the guy was already there. I told him thank you; but it was twice as high as other companies and I would no longer use them...ever. Should have trusted my initial instincts. I appreciate that some companies might "lowball" over the phone and Bell wants to protect itself. On the other hand, I have seen nothing over the years after having used them on and off to think they deserve a !00% premium for their work.

They are prompt and tell us what they are going to charge. They are reasonably priced compared to other plumbers. Their service is great. We had used them previously too.

They had come out when they said they would. We were having some problems with the plumbing under the kitchen sink as well as the pilot light. They did everything well. I have used them a number of times in the last three years. I think they are overpriced. That is the only complaint that I have. I have found other companies that are just as good as them to be not so expensive. I don?t think I would use them again.

I tried using a handyman once and my plumbing was off for 3 days - the guy had no clue about what was needed to be done. That was the one time I thought I?d save some money. Bell Plumbing on the other hand has journeyman plumbers. Anytime you use Bell, they send the journeyman plumber out. They cost more but they are done in quarter or half the time. They have all the parts and you can just depend on them. They are a little expensive but they are worth it. They are knowledgeable about plumbing and HVAC - they know what needs to be done and how to do it, every time. They clean up after themselves - they are just about as professional as you can get. They are expensive but you do get what you pay for. It cost me $60 to have him come out to our house. He was here 45 minutes to diagnose the problem, order the part and take the thing apart, and that cost $150. The next day he came back to put the thing in and the total bill came up to $600. They have been in business for about 60 years and I would highly recommend them.

We had generally positve experiences before this one. Bell installed a faucet on the outside of our house with one line running to the swamp cooler. There is a plastic cap on one fork of the faucet so we can run the outside water. This cap has broken twice during early freezes despite having a drained line (I can take the blame on this one). When I went to the store to get a replacement cap, I was told that they no longer carry it and to go to another plumbing supply company. When I tried that cap it didn't work, so I called Bell, because I thought they would have to replace the whole faucet. When the service rep came, he had the part on his truck. He didn't charge me for that, but did have to charge me $90.00 for the service call. I sent an email to Bell and never received a response. I will not give my business to Bell again and would never recommend them.

All plugged up, disposal was making bad noises, water leaking, it was lookign bad...like $400+ bad for a new disposla system

A video inspector found low spots and roots in the sewer line and recommended replacement of the sewer line from under the basement slab to the city main. I called Bell Plumbing to get an estimate. The estimator came on time, viewed the video, and recommended that the line not be replaced. He thought the sewer just needed routine annual maintenance. His honesty saved me about $20k.
