About us
Inland Landscape and Irrigation was established in 1989. Owner Richard Durbin is a licensed California Contractor with industry certification in basic and advanced, water efficient, sprinkler design and installation. With this aforementioned knowledge, Richard has been providing his customers with 36 years of trusted Sprinkler Troubleshooting and Repair Service. Our sprinkler service call fee is 75.00 for the onsite sprinkler repair evaluation and estimate. This fee waived if hired. Inland Landscape and Irrigation is very proficient at what they do, and they can generally troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve your sprinkler problems the same day. This can save you time, money, and frustration as we generally solve your irrigation issues in half the time of less experienced companies. Richard also offers concrete saw cutting and concrete repair for those sprinkler and main water line pipe break repairs that are sometimes underneath the existing concrete patios, driveways, and walkways. Not to worry, this is all done in-house without any subcontractors. Inland Landscape and Irrigation can also transform any outdoor space into a lifestyle space. With their experience and craftsmanship, they will take your vision and make it a reality. The initial landscape consultation fee is 150.00, and this landscape service is available during our slower fall, winter, and early spring seasons as they are solely focused on sprinkler troubleshooting and repair services during the warmer months. "I?d like to clarify the situation regarding the work that was completed. The customer fully approved the scope of the work, signed the contract March 13, 2024, and requested that the work be completed promptly. At no point did I pressure her. In fact, I specifically advised her to take her time, sleep on the decision, and that there was no urgency. Despite this, she wanted the work done and asked me to move forward. I?m disappointed by the false claims being made. I take pride in conducting my business with integrity and transparency, and I do not appreciate being mischaracterized. Every job, including this one, I always take before, during, and after pictures of my work. I also showed this client the completed work prior to back filling. Regarding the leaking valve: when the issue was reported, I promptly arrived at her property within 35 minutes to assess it. After evaluating the situation, I determined there was a cracked hose bib connection. I asked if the gardeners use this hose. She replied that they sometimes use the hose. Also, she replied she wouldn?t put it past the gardeners because previously the gardeners had broken two of her landscape lights and her lemon tree. I told her we need to let the ground dry out and that I would return on Monday. I requested that she be present so she could witness the source of the leak after I dug it up. However, she was asleep when I arrived, so out of respect I went into the backyard, dug it up, ascertained the leak and in good faith fixed it. I then went to the front door, I did not demand money but simply informed her there would be an added charge, she declined. I told her that I would cover it, there?s no hard feeling and God bless you. As for the total cost, the customer agreed to the price upfront, signed a flat-rate contract, and understood that the quoted price covered both labor and materials. There was no deception or misrepresentation involved. I understand she may be going through a difficult time personally, and I empathize with her loss. However, that does not justify the accusations being made against my character or business practices. In light of the ongoing issues, I?m open to discussing the situation further in a fair and professional manner, but I stand by the integrity of the work as originally performed and the price that was agreed upon. Sincerely, Richard Durbin"
