The 3 person team were early, professional, friendly and worked hard. The downside of my experience was primarily related to cost - I called for and expected someone to visit my house to assess the level of effort. After describing the contents, I was given an estimate of 6 hours, "and certainly no more than 8". Ultimately it took 10. I felt a major reason for the extended duration was that everything was shrink wrapped for a 3 mile move. This was time consuming and ultimately led to the next surprise. The cost of the move is labor plus materials. My labor was $1250; materials were $425 (33%). When the estimate was provided, there was no indication that materials would be such a high percentage. To my discredit, I did not ask. Shame on me. Finally, we had one particularly important piece of furniture (Curio) that my wife pointedly and clearly communicated the importance of prior to packing. We've twice previously moved the curio over a total of 3000 miles. Following our 3 mile move the bottom of the curio was cracked. The driver seemed to imply that it was already broke. We were clear that it was not and asked why he would not have inspected following our communication of the importance. Ultimately we were given a $200 discount off the material cost. All in all, we are OK with the move. We hired a locally based, budget provider. We got what we paid for, but felt the sales representative should have been more forthcoming with the total cost of the move.

The packing and moving of the piano was done very professionally. I was disappointed when I discovered that they did not reattach the pedals correctly. I had to pay someone else to come out and set up up correctly.
