The project is not completed yet but so far...the project manager Arthur was great in keeping us informed and Mike gave us valuable advice regarding the patio. Serge came for the final quality inspection. We are very happy with the job Reliable did to our house.

The crew was on time and the Project Manager Sean T was very informative of the Roofing and Job project and answered all my questions. We did have to clean up after each step of the job because there where some nails left around and in the driveway, but the Job they did was excellent. Thank you to all of the crew and to Sean T for the great experience.

Requested a full roof replacement and insulation install. The project manager Argo was prompt, meeting my wife and I on our lunch break to give us a quote. Reasonably priced, for the size of the project. From there work started almost immediately and progressed quickly, with each major stage of the project being completed in 1-2 days. Argo stayed in touch with us the whole time and was very accessable. The work was completed entirely in less than 2 weeks. Good clean work, I would use them again if I had another similar project.

This was an outstanding experience! The supervisory personnel were outstanding. We had extensive cumulative termite damage to the wooden infrastructure of our roof and attic. Although we had had numerous termitings, with subsequent re-tarrings, no one had ever mentioned the gradually increasing structural termite damage, probably because they were not qualified to repair it. Reliable Roofing correctly diagnosed the problem, and explained it clearly, as well as their proposed course of action. The workers were also very experienced at what they were doing. Now, with previous bolting and boarding of our building's foundation,we now feel much more prepared to withstand serious damage in upcoming earthquakes. It was worth every penny of the cost. We highly recommend this company, indeed already have to at least one friend!

I paid 1.5x the other quotes for this company because I fell for their high pressure sales tactics, and the other companies would have done my garage roof as well. Half way through the job, they claimed I required plywood to be put down and that it would cost 12k. The plywood was not required, and the price they gave was 3x what every other company I talked to said they'd do it for. They repeatedly lied to me about why it would cost so much, telling me the reason was work that was already budgeted in and paid for. They also did an INCREDIBLY bad job of cleaning up. After making them come out 2 more times to pick up their trash/nails, there are still hundreds of nails easily findable All over the property, and pieces of shingles scattered as well. I finally signed the paper saying the job was done, just so I could be rid of them.

We signed contract with agreement that they would start immediately and finish while we are out of town. This was to accommodate their schedule and save cost for the company in leveraging and sharing the resources of the nearby job. We reluctantly agreed while we preferred to start when we were around. We needed to make several special arrangements with our house sitter, animals sitter and neighbors. The first day they did the roof demo in two hours and we left town. The next five days nobody worked, the job dragged on was just starting we returned from vacation a week later. Lasted more than a week to complete. The project manager was never around, didn't return calls. We had no idea when they?ll work and when the job will be completed. It was blamed on inspection scheduling? this was an overblown excuse. We jumped through many hoops to accommodate their schedule all for not. The workers did a fine job when they were scheduled to work, but the whole experience was very frustrating

First -- I'll know the quality of the work next time it rains. The gentleman who bid the project was great, and all else wasn't. ) All initially went well until the day they stripped the roof off. I recieved a call telling me the General Manager wanted me to stop by the home as he needed to show me something. I requested I be told what I was walking into, so I'd be able to start problem solving if it was a big problem. The response..... if its a big deal i'm sure they'd let you know&. (No return call). When I arrived on site, I was brought up on the roof and shown the boards were more than 1/8; apart and instructed that this is NOT up to current code and wouldn;t pass an inspection. I'd need to add to the structure by re-sheathing the entire roof. Cost? Another 10 thousand dollars. I was totally over a barrel as my roof was gone, and I agreed to that on the spot that evening. The whole thing felt to me very hinky, so the next morning I called LA Building and safety and spoke with an inspector. I was informed there no such code, and It was then recommended I stop work and call for a pre-inspection to allow an inspector to see the conditions. When and inspector came out for that pre- inspection, he repeated the same -- there was no code saying I needed to re-sheath the entire house due to the boards being more than 1/8; apart -- period. All was just fine, and the work could proceed as is. Response from reliable Roofing? I would need to pay a restock fee for all the sheathing acquired and the labor used to pick it up, and deliver. Summary -- The General Manager from Reliable Roofing looked me in the eye and told me something was code and it wasn't. He looked me in the eye and gave me a price of almost $10,000 for a job I didn't need. Draw your own conclusion as those are just the facts. What I will say is after re-reading other reviews, I am NOT the first person to have had this experience. The following day I arrived to look at the work and discovered that the perimeter of the house was covered nails and detritus. All the more upsetting as there was a child living in the home and I had made daily cleanup a specific request given safety and liability issues. I called the gentleman who bid the job and he was likewise upset about it... I told him I'd clean it up and to just let the workers know to please clean up the job-site at the end of each day. The project is now over and while the job looks good, I guess weâ ll see when it rains. That said....thats the experience for what it was.

Project went from a re-shingle to a complete tear off. Justification for the tear off made by David and John was that the substructure would not pass inspection, which doubled the price. They provided photos of what a solid substructure should look like. After tear off and replacement, some of the same issues remained and the roof looked nothing like the photos shown, but the roof passed code inspection. Demonstrated craftmanship was not consistent with the photos shown to me. I feel as if I paid for unnecessary work. Greg A. was very responsive to my concerns and did everything he could to relieve them. John as a project manager did not communicate well and was at times not responsive, so Greg A. stepped in to that role which was appreciated greatly.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I am a senior woman and they totally tried to take advantage of me. The sales person, Artin A. told me that I needed a total roof replacement instead of a repair and that the material they use is Owens Corning and that Reliable was a Platinum contractor so that included the best warranty Owens Corning has, which in fact they were just Preferred so the warranty is much less. When I questioned Artin about this he told me that Owens Corning hadn't updated their list and that they were absolutely Platinum. He also told me that there would not be any additional charges. After they took off the old roof they sent another person who then informs me that the wood decking also needed to be completely replaced and of course MORE MONEY, a typical bait & switch tactic. Since they took off my roofing I obviously had to go with it. He then goes around the house and tells me I needed additional work done under the house and then noticed the leak on my ceiling and harassed me about getting it fixed telling me that it was black mold and if I didn't get it fixed immediately I didn't care about my family. So of course this would cost MORE MONEY, additional 12k to get it fixed. He arbitrarily sent someone to supposedly test for asbestos on my ceiling and put up a plastic sheet. When I informed him that I was't going to have Reliable do the asbestos abatement and repair work he again tried to make me feel like I didn't care about my grandson and that I still had to pay for the testing. As it turned out my homeowners insurance took care of the problem Bottom line is GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!!!

This was a rather long project of 29 days that was only going to take 3 days. They found additional sheathing issues that greatly added to the length of the project, which still was completed within the re-drafted work order timeframe. The demo work to remove 2 roofing layers took about a week and then it was determined that the original sheathing was sub-standard and needed to be replaced or recovered where supports would allow it. That took another week plus to strip off the old sheathing and re-lay new OBD radiant barrier sheathing down. It was messy, but the crew did a good job of containing most of the debris. Fortunately, I covered the contents of the garage before the demo work began. I would recommend that the demo workers place a barrier between their dump truck and the house on all subsequent jobs to keep the debris from damaging things like the garage door, walls, etc. In their haste to complete the job, they may have bypassed that option when doing our home. This was probably the only flaw in the process. The workmanship on the new OC Cool Roof is spectacular and there is a noticeable difference with temperature heat reduction after the job has been completed. They also installed 2 new dual-pane frosted glass skylights that look superb and diffuse the light and heat very well. Alejandro and his associate did excellent work in completing those skylights as well as fixing/finishing the interior drywall, replacing and painting several different fascia boards and other small but necessary details. The whole job looks stunning. Thanks for the great work.

I have a disability and I requested to have the railings installed first, they put in the wrong color of material. The workers were great but the project manager was terrible, I have called them multiple times to come back out and with no success they haven't called me back. They left piles of concrete and dirt in the backyard for 2 weeks.
