I wish my kid's pediatricians were as concerned and as thorough! I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis that kept going into an F1 error when the tub was filling. I did all the research first, took apart my washer to see if I could do it myself, and called Lerman appliances when I found I couldn't. I was hoping it was just a pinched hose, but Serge showed me instead of just telling me that a pinched hose, was not the problem. Instead, the circuit board needed to be replaced. Which, according to my research, can also cause the problem I was having. He also determined that the intake valve need to be replaced along with the leaking hose. I wasn't able to afford a new circuit board at this time, so I decided to fix just the valve and the hose. The parts came in two days later, but I wasn't available until Saturday. Val, the scheduler, was able to fit me in on Saturday. Vitaliy came to install the parts. He was just a thorough and patient as Serge and remembered my Angie's List discount without me having to ask! He was also very,very fair on his pricing and even offered to research the best price he could find on the circuit board in case my circumstances changed. Now my clothes actually get wet inset of my floor!

They were very nice. He spent a lot of time trying to fix it. He gave me suggestions on washing machines. He went above and beyond. He only charged for the service call. The price was very reasonable.

Mr. Lerman assessed the dryer and egg it was staining our clothes. He replaced the bearings and showed us how badly damaged the old bearings had gotten over time. After a few weeks our clothes continued to stain and we realized that our washer was also thd culprit. We had mr. Kerman cone out again and he told us that he could give us an estimate for repairs but that it would probably be less to just purchase a new washer. He did not charge for the 2nd visit which I found to be a pleasant surprise. I will definitely call Lerman again for any appliance issues.

The paddle that activates the water dispenser was broken and the valve was leaking. A repairman came out and assessed the problem on a first visit. Parts were ordered, and were installed on a second visit. I thought it was fixed but it did not work right, so a repairman came out and corrected the problem. It works fine now. The contact, scheduling, and interaction with this company were all very satisfactory. When the problem came up, they were very responsive, and corrected the problem quickly.

Not much to say. I cannot imagine that the parts really ought to cost that much, but to be fair, maybe they do. I surrender. I had to buy a new dishwasher - NOT pleased, but not necessarily their fault.

Well. No hassles. Quick, honest work.

Came promptly, diagnosed the problem correctly, ordered parts, called me when the parts arrived, came back, put in the parts. Now it works! Polite, explained everything clearly, made sensible recommendations, discussed the issues sensibly, showed me the damaged parts, cleaned up afterwards. I definitely recommend them.

I replaced the two ignitors, and one of them didn't work. They gave us a 10 to 1 PM window, and Vitaliy showed up at 11. He found that one of the wires had fallen off the electrical box, and replaced the connector. He was very honest and informative, and the oven now works great. We are very happy with his work.

The 1996 microwave after blowing a new fuse was deemed not worth fixing {True Honesty!}. The oven lights now both work. The electric stove now has all four burners working. After replacing both the refrigerator and freezer seals, they now both work better than since new! Sergey {sp?} was Very Professional, honest, courteous and patient - this company deserves your business!

The repairman called when he was on his way and he came right on time! I was expecting to have to have to wait a couple of hours (we were given a window of 3 hours). He was very kind, professional and gave advice that wasn't in his best interest (he could have fixed the dryer and made a bundle). We were hoping that the dryer could be saved but to do so would have been exhorbitant price-wise. No actual services performed but we got good afvice.

It was a success! We struggled with installing this the gasket the day before and gave up after a few hours. Lerman Appliances saved the day for us. The office staff was absolutely helpful and friendly and wonderful - very easy to communicate with. And the technician called 20 minutes before he arrived as they said he would. He arrived and got right to work - he was familiar with the machine, got the job done, and ran it to make sure it worked - that there were no leaks happening. It's great. And we are grateful. It's pricey, but the Angie's list coupon helped.

The technician told me the icemaker was broken and the entire unit would have to be replaced--not just the icemaker but also the motor that turns to crush and dispense the ice because he said Samsung does not sell the ice maker separately, only the entire unit. The estimate was $420 including $295 for the part. He had the part on his truck and installed it but my ice bucket would not fit the new unit so he put my old unit back in and told me he would order the part. After he left, I went online and found that Samsung does sell the icemaker unit separately for my refrigerator for $86.00. I called Lerman's and cancelled the order. The owner of the company called me back and apologized for "the misunderstanding" and offered to come out himself with the new part or install one that I ordered. He was very nice, seemed knowledgeable and actually thought the valve assembly was more likely to be causing the problem than the icemaker. He said if replacing it did not fix the problem, he would not charge me for the part. However, he did not have to come out at all because the icemaker is working fine now; somehow just taking it out and putting it back in (or maybe just unplugging the refrigerator) reset the water filling function so the ice tray does not overflow now. I paid just for the service call.

I came home in the middle of the day and found a flood in my kitchen. After getting every towel in the house to catch the water, I called Lerman with my story, indicating it was urgent, because the water just kept coming! Val promised a technician would be there shortly, as he was in the neighborhood. Within 15 minutes thne technician arrived and got to work, first pulling a very heavy old refrigerator out of a very tight space. It turned out the shutoff was in the basement which required some considerable maneuvering. After shutting off the supply line to stop the leak in the kitchen AND basement, he explained that because the water line was below ground level, they were not licensed to perform the work to replace the supply line. I appreciated his honesty in not attempting something beyond their scope of practice. He put everything back in place, wiped down the kitchen floor and offered a referral to a licensed plumber if I needed one. Thank you, Lerman, for quick, efficient and cheerful service. You're at the top of my list!!

I found the product on Amazon as he described and purchased it for a very reasonable price. I ran it through the dishwasher (2 treatments per his recommendation) and the product worked! I will definitely contact this company again if I run into a problem with my other appliances. I know they are honest and not trying to rip me off!

Mike was very efficient, capable and polite. Showed up on time, kept work area clean and performed work efficiently. He explained exactly what he was doing and deomonstrated work so there were no questions at close of session.

The staff who answer the phones are helpful and responsive. The technician who repaired our Subzero arrived within the time range specified and was very competent. I think the price was reasonable for the work done. Two problems. First, the technician speaks very limited English so it was a challenge to communicate with him. Second, the technician was somewhat messy. I found myself cleaning up puddles of water, etc., providing towels, etc. Despite these problems, I would use the company again because of the quality of the work and the fair price.

This company was great! Originally we contacted them to come out to do just maintanence service for our refrigerator, and 24 year old washer and gas dryer. The quote for the call was $85, but if we needed anything repaired, it would be waived. Also it had been a number of years since we had contacted any company for this same service, and we wanted to extend the life of our appliances. The owner's son, Dimitry, came. He was thorough and offered many good suggestions for maintaining the appliances. He did note the dryer drum belt was cracked/notched. He suggested that in the near future we would want to replace it. There was no pressure from him to proceed with the repair, but after asking him more about it, we decided to go ahead and replace it at that time. All of the work was done, as well as the replacement of some very old hoses that connected the washer to the water. When we ran the dryer the next day, we noted a long curly strip inside with the clothes that had been drying. We contacted the company and it was determined the seal on the dryer drum had disengaged. Wanting to be fully informed, we obtained more information and a quote from another appliance company, but after speaking with the owner, we were more than satisfied with their explanation and proposal for completing the work. The owner came and performed the work himself. We will definitely have all of our appliance service and repairs performed by Lerman in the future. We found their prices reasonable and their service impeccable. They are honest and really understand the value of quality customer service.

He arrived promptly at the appointed time. I told him I had had a repairman out three times who did not fix the problem of my freezer gathering frost inside and not keeping cold. In fairness to him we could not tell him in great detail what the previous repairman had done. After checking it he could not tell what was wrong but thought it might be a clogged tube which he cleared out. He charged me 100 bucks. He also suggested I get a new water filter which cost me $30. 00 at the store. 5 days later the freezer was doing the same thing. He came out again for free and again was on time. He said he frankly did not know what was wrong but It MIGHT be the door which he could replace for $300 but could not guarantee that would fix the problem. We decided against putting more money into the repairs. So, basically I paid $100 and my freezer is still not working correctly. The service man was very kind. I hate to give a bad review to a nice person but the reality is he did not fix my freezer. By the way, it is a Frigidaire and only 5 years old. Don't buy a Frigidaire.

I was very pleased. My built-in Viking refrigerator is huge and expensive and despite a rather adverse reputation, has been fine except for the water and ice dispenser. A while ago, the ice dispenser froze and a company (who shall remain nameless, but starts with an NAT and ends with an IDE and also uses AAA) came out and charged a lot of money to not fix it. This time, the water dispenser appeared to be leaking from inside the refrigerator, so I called this highly-rated Angie's List company. Ilya (also a Lerman) came out very promptly and discovered the problem immediately. It was not leaking from inside as I had thought, but the lever needed adjustment and the unit needed cleaning. I was so happy with his professionalism and also the price with a $20. Angie's List discount.

They could not come out until Tuesday between 1 and 4. I told them I could not wait that long because the food was getting bad. They said that is the earliest they could arrive. I let them know I would be looking to get another company. I called them to let them know someone was coming out earlier and I would not longer need their appointment. They said they did not even have me on the schedule. Very unprofessional.

My washer is broken. I schedule an appointment and sure enough the technician came out. He told me he would have ordered the parts and Monday or Tuesday the following week he would have came back and fix it this was a Friday. A week later no phone-calls no technician so I called the company and was told by someone with a bad attitude the parts were not there and NOBODY KNOWS WHEN THEY WILL BE IN STOCK!!???? I sincerely wonder how this company got and overall A!?? USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!! however if you must Lerman's make sure the parts are in or it's going to be a headache!!! So now I am unsure about what to do since I signed the quote..meanwhile I am forced to use a dry-cleaner service I should bill Lerman's... I will call them again and see what the situation is. Will try and keep updated this review. Best to all the Angie's (this is the first time a company from A. let me down) UPDATE: I'm giving them a B because after the owner took the matter in his hands, he did everything he could to fix my washer ASAP and gave me a bit of discount too. It would have been an A if things did go smooth since the very beginning.

They were very professional & pleasant from my first phone call on. They were prompt, diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, called and ordered the part, and installed it about 4 days later. They asked for payment of the part on the diagnosis call, then payment for the labor after the part was installed. I was very satisfied -would use again.
