Our gas clothes dryer would tumble, but not heat up. We called Lerman Appliances and they made an appointment with us right away, showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. We could not be happier and will definitely use them again.

They find there was a broker part therefore it did not matter how cold or colder was set on, they knew this right away and made replacements.

Very pleased with all aspects of the service. Highly recommend this vendor.

Mike arrived exactly on time, was polite, and worked very efficiently. He knew right away what the several problems were with my appliances. It did not take long at all to take care of everything. He was neat and organized and put everything back into the freezer pretty much how I had it. I thought the price was very reasonable for three repairs on two appliances. I will absolutely call Lerman Appliances for any appliance repair work I need in the future.

Efficiently and accurately. I began by emailing the symptoms of a slow leak out the front at the bottom, mentioned the make and model, and asked about how much it might cost so I could decide whether to fix it or buy new. They responded it sounded like the pump, and if so, what the ballpark cost would be. It was less than half a new one, so I scheduled a visit. The owner's son fit me in late the next day on his way home. It was the pump, his quite matched the email someone else in tge office had written. The pump had been leaking long enough to rust and swell the motor shaft. He warned me the new pump might not be able to fit on, and it didn't, in fact, the pump broke after twenty minutes of careful shaft filing, trying and trying. He looked at the transmission and other parts to provide input to my choice of whether to replace the motor too or buy new. I had researched online the ways this washer failed, and I agreed with his assessment that no oil spray meant the trannie was fine. It was still cheaper to repair, so he came by again after a day's work to finish my repair. He had gotten another pump at no cost to me by turning in the broken one on warranty, and charged no more in labor. The new motor abd pump were installed. There was no mess made, he tested to confirm all was well, total cost was in the $300s. I was absolutely delighted. It's been a month and the washer is quiet and works beautifully.

Mike was awesome at fixing my microwave. He was very methodical and took over 45 minutes to step-by-step diagnose the problem. In the end he had to replace the wiring on all 5 of the micro switches... a problem he'd never seen before. Works like new now. THANK YOU, Lerman Appliances!!!!! (p.s. A previous diagnosis from another company was 100% wrong - that guy looked at it for 5 minutes and told me I needed a new computer board. Beware of rip offs!)

On April 10 I called Lerman Appliances, highly rated for appliance repairs on Angie's List, to make an appointment for a service call. Val scheduled an appointment for April 15. Vitaliy arrived as scheduled and within minutes determined why the soap dispenser of my Maytag dishwasher was not working properly. He replaced the part, the wax motor, and completed the job within minutes. Taking about 30 - 40 minutes, he was efficient and professional. I would not hesitate to call Lerman Applicances again when needed.

It was great they got to house early and got straight to work. They explained what they had to do and fixed my dishwasher and my dryer with no complications. The price wasn't perfect but the job was done perfectly so I'm happy with it.

My upper oven wasn't heating up. They tested everything and narrowed it down to a possible part. If the part didn't fix it I would not have to pay for the service. Luckily the part fixed it and they offer a 1 year guarantee. Then my dish washer had standing water that wouldn't drain. They also fixed that on a separate day. It still has issues so I will test out the guarantee on that job. Also, my dryer stopped heating and they fixed that by replacing a small part. They arrive on time. They respond quickly when you call them and they do not try to do any work that is not needed. They also clean up after they work and they are polite. I recommend them.

My dryer stopped heating. This is the second time it has happened in 3 years (a lemon, I'm sure). I scheduled an appointment with Lerman. They arrived very punctually, assessed the problem, and tried to locate the needed part. It was not in any warehouse and so they had to order it. I would add here that the people who fixed my dryer last time it broke did not assess the problem correctly because the dryer stopped heating again. So far, it appears that Lerman has properly identified the problem. As soon as they received the part, Lerman scheduled a second appointment and arrived punctually again. They were very professional, polite, helpful, and efficient. I would recommend them and will hire them again if something goes wrong with another appliance. If my dryer breaks again, I'll buy a new one.

I called at 1 pm. They said they were very busy,but would squeeze me in that afternoon,between 4-7 pm. At 4:30, Vitaliy arrived, explained everything to me and put in the new Whirlpool disposal. Took about 45 minutes. He cleaned everything up after the installation and left. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Wow! What a good job. I have used them before and will continue using them. They are the best in the valley. If they want to use me as a recommendation, they are welcome to. Jack M.

I had tried repairing our Frigidaire dishwasher (by replacing the heating element) and to no surprise, did it wrong. I picked Lerman from their Angie reviews and thankfully I did. Michael came out and spent an hour describing to me in detail what was wrong with it and why my repair failed. I'm a Virgo and I need to know exactly the why and what and he expertly (and patiently) took me through each step and gave me a good education on the workings of my dishwasher. He gave me an estimate on replacing the element and doing a complete service. I approved it and he said he had to order the part. Once he received the part he came back, installed it, did the service and it is now working like a charm. Our house was built in 1922 and there is always something going wrong. I've gotta say, Michael is in the top 3 of all the repairmen that have been here. I highly recommend them.

The service man came out, pulled the machine apart and checked out the hoses, etc. He told us our overflow was originating from the drain. Cost $45.00, service call. We were so impressed, we called them back to fix our dishwasher. That repair is still in progress.

I like Lerman Appliances a lot. I used them twice in December and January. I will give them all A+s in everything, they're 100%.

Mike was our service tech. He showed up on time and was very professional from start to finish. Very knowledgable, polite, and respectful. A part was needed for our washer, and Mike placed the ordered before he left our house and he told us the timeline for receiving the part and how soon we can expect a call to complete the service. We were very impressed and will call again when we need appliances repaired or serviced.

The repair man came out and checked dryer. He did not have parts and said he would call the next day. Never heard form him. Called the next Monday and he said he forgot to order parts. Called Wednesday and said the repair man called on Tuesday but he never did. On that Wednesday called and he said he was coming that afternoon to repair not even knowing we could make it. Repair was made and everything works now. Repair man and office was nice. Work was done well, Just a lot of poor communication.

He was wonderful. I had a very good experience. They had a lot of good reviews in Angie’s List. Then I called them and he came within hours. He was very good. He was prompt, efficient and polite. He came ahead of time. He came earlier than when he said he would by about 15 minutes. The price was reasonable. The guy was there for almost an hour, gave me two pipes. I had a $20 Angie’s List deal and then a $169. It wasn’t cheap but the quality was good and he was very thorough.

Overall, I'm happy I hired Lerman to fix our dishwasher. The employee who showed up was knowledgeable, experienced, and prepared. He was able to diagnose our problem quickly and confidently and he was able to fix it immediately. The one negative was that the employee showed up late and didn't explain or apologize. I actually thought they weren't going to show up. I'm big on punctuality so that's why I'm giving Lerman a B instead of an A. I would, however, hire them again if they committed to showing up on time.

On the first visit, a technician was on time and diagnosed the problem. Two weeks later he returned to replace two parts in the freezer. He opted not to replace the control panel as well, to save us money since he suspected it wasn't a part of the problem. Several months later, we had them out again because an ice sheet had reformed in the bottom. This time, the problem was a simple clog. The technician recommended we vacuum the coils to prevent another problem. He gave me an extended warranty free in case we got another clog. We also had him check the dryer, but he advised us to get the vents clean and offered to come back if that didn't solve the problem.

Professional, polite and productive - Lerman encompasses all three! Here is a friendly and punctual family owned business that really cares about their customers. In my case, the clothes dryer repair turned out not to be a repair, but instead careful review of the situation. Turns out that the dryer was automatically turning off because of a plugged dryer exhaust hose (bird made a nest in the vent and into the vent hose). The Lerman expert repairman carefully surveyed the situation, demonstrated the problem to the homeowner and then followed up with testing the dryer to ensure it was operating properly after the homeowner removed the bird nest. Classic case of paying close attention to all of the details. By the way, this issue was missed by another Angie's List appliance repair company! Just goes to show that when you know what you are doing, you do things correctly the first time! I happily recommend Lerman to anyone who requires appliance repair! They really do care!
