The technician arrived promptly and worked efficiently. He provided an estimate of the full cost of repairing a dishwasher and suggested I buy a new one instead. This was $25 (with an Angie's List coupon - would have been $50) well spent. I would call them again for future appliance repair needs.

He was very meticulous and courteous and checked everything. He couldnt find why it was leaking but he tried everything he could. I was very pleased with his services.

They were terrific! The part was $93 and the labor was $140 and there was $8.25 in tax. I had a $50 coupon as well. I have hired them several times and have always been really happy.

The tech was professional and knowledgeable, and the job was completed quickly. Everything went good.

My dishwasher had been cleaning dishes poorly for quite a while and they came and diagnosed what the problem was. They advised me that it was better to buy a new dishwasher than replace the damaged part. They could have made money off of me but instead they were honest and I appreciate that.

Washer wasn't working. Said the tube leading from dishwasher was glogged. He fixed it.

Once we moved to a new house, our Samsung refrigerator ice maker did not work anymore. We thought maybe it had to do with the move so since it was not urgent, we left as is. At the same time, the washer that came with the house seemed to have luke-warm water coming out of the cold cycle...another non-urgent thing that has been in my mind forever to check but not urgent. So, I saw the deal of $25 for $50 and I figured it was time. Scheduling was not a problem and Alya (son of the owner which I only found out at the very end) called me a couple of hours before our set appointment to see if he could start earlier, which was perfect for me! He stopped by and figured quickly that my refrigerator just needed the ice maker to be turned on....yep, new refrigerators apparently re-set when you disconnect them and they sometimes turn the ice maker off...then he moved on to the washer, walked me through every step he was performing on checking it and at the end concluded that there didn't seem to be an obvious problems with it, other than the luke-warm water coming out only at the beginning of my cold cycle. His theory is that perhaps this model operates like that to dissolve the soap first, as this is an old unit and old detergent was not easily soluble in pure cold water. He offered to look further into the circuit board, but we both determine that it was not worth the possible expense. At the end, I got charged the visit fee ($90 minus my deal). I am glad I called and that Alya didn't make me feel dumb from not noticing that my refrigerator ice maker button was turned off. The regular visit at $90 seems a bit pricey compared to prior companies I've used, but with the deal it was worth it, especially since it was mostly user error. Will definitely give them a call in the future.

They did very well. Their price was fine. They were the only one in Angie's List so we called them and they were very responsive. They came out the same day. They're a very good company.

Ilya came out initially to diagnose the problem. He suspected either the inverter or magnatron or both, but had to order the parts. He had some trouble finding one of the parts, but kept me informed of his progress. Two people had to come out to remove the microwave to repair it so Ilya and his father came. They said between 12 and 3 and they were here at straight up 12 noon. The inverter was bad, but he recommended replacing the magnatron because it probably caused the inverter to burn out. They repaired it, tested it, put it all back, and made sure to clean up their work. They had to move the duct for the vent and spent a lot of time and some kind of special tape making sure it was back in place and well sealed. When I first found them on this list, I was curious whether they were really as good as their ratings suggested. They absolutely were. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Perfect. Arrived on time, worked very quickly, and cleanly, and was extremely courteous and professional. Used them again a few weeks later to replace a door on our washing machine, and had a similar experience.

Tech came out and found that the motor needed replaced Part had to be ordered, which came in a day later than expected, but was not an issue as he had it in time to come out and replace it the following weekend as scheduled. He was very prompt. Microwave was above the stove and he had some difficulty putting it back up after the repair, he really could have used a second person to help, but he finally managed on his own. Kudos to him.

The contractor was very personable and professional. I felt confident that his diagnosis was accurate and his explanation of costs was reasonable. While he was there fixing the oven I asked him about an issue I was having with my washing machine and he checked it out for me at no charge! I will definitely use these guys for my future appliance needs, they were great.

I spoke with Val mostly. He was nice and helpful, which was a relief after having called a lot of other repair companies who couldn't help me for one reason or another. The technician called me promptly after the service call and let me know what had happened with the tentants. Overall a very good easy experience. Already have recommended them : )

I called Lerman when our GE refrigerator stopped working (and began to spoil all the groceries we had just purchased!). I was pleased to hear they could send a technician the following morning. Sergei looked it over and determined it was either a compressor problem or one with the inductor, which is what he wanted to try first. He had to go to a supplier for the part and, happily, got one and returned the next day. That turned out to be the solution! The application of the Angie's List "discount" was a little confusing, but really, I couldn't complain about the cost.

It was terrible. He came to the home where my tenant was waiting. He looked at the dishwasher, which I believe is a Viking brand, and told the tenant that he could not fix, then left. Granted, my tenant only speaks Chinese, but I had given this service person my telephone number and asked for him to call me once he inspected the unit. I got no call, no repair, nothing. He just came, looked, and left. I can't imagine that an older Viking dishwasher cannot be fixed (there was no physical damage), however, at least a phone call with some effort, and details of what the problem might have been would have been helpful. This guy was lazy, and showed no interest in helping his customer understand the issue, nor did he take the time to do a thorough inspection. I am not truly convinced that he could have been 100% of the problem. I'd recommend using another service.

The repairman arrived on time and helped dislodge the chunks of ice stuck in the freezer and clean the overflow water pan. He quickly figured out what the problem was and said he would order the part. As soon as he received the part, he called to set up the second appt. The work was done quickly and cleanly. He even cleaned the accumulated dust from the vent on the top of the refrigerator. I would definitely use them again.

My dishwasher wasn?t working properly; I was told we have a hard water problem. The dish washer was working fine the first couple of years so I find it hard to believe that this is my issue. We use all the recommend products and still the issue is not resolved. We also had our oven looked at and we are still having issues with the burner. You turn the knob and it just clicks, when you use the oven a high pitch sound appears. They did however repair the gas leak, which I am very happy about. I felt like they were giving me stock answer because they couldn?t find the real problem.

Good work performed efficiently and professionally. There was some delay due to the wait for an ordered part, but not a big deal. This is the second time I have called on Lerman Appliances and was satisfied with their work both times.

I called Lerman Appliances based on their high reviews and was very happy with their service. My phone call was answered by Ilya, a very friendly member of the family-owned business. He explained that he was one of the repair people and could come out regarding our problem. He was on time, extremely kind, tolerated my naive questions and did the repair in a professional manner. I will certainly call Lerman for any future repairs we need for our home or rental units. Their service was great, friendly and fairly priced (about $300 less than the company KitchenAid recommended).

I called in Vitaly to clean up some errors made by another provider. The original provider couldn't figure out what was wrong with the oven - even though I had a pretty good idea - and charged us to replace the thermostat, saying 'that's all there is we can fix in here... there's no electronics". Well, when that didn't work, we had to call someone who knew their stuff. Vitaly arrived identified the problem quickly, gave me the bad news about cost but provided what I think was a fair quote based on replacement parts needed (I did some sleuthing online after he left) and came back when the parts were ordered to install them. It was all smooth - I wish I'd used Lerner Appliances from the start.

The technician showed up right on time and diagnosed the problem I was having with my dryer. He quickly discovered it was from a part that has been discontinued.

The latch on the oven was fixed easily and quickly. The gasket had to be ordered which was not easy. The oven is old and it was hard to find a replacement. The repairman was tenacious and finally located it. He came back to install it at no additional service charge. He was very professional, friendly and competent. I would definitely use Lerman Appliances again.
