Lerman repairman came and found the problem immediately and took care of it. He charged only for the service call; the job he carried out was part of the service call. He was nice, very professional and explained what had happened and why the washer should be good for several more years

My service person's name was Ilya and he was punctual, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, effective, tidy, ad got the job done fully.
Description of Work: I had a Viking dishwasher repaired and a Viking refrigerator assessed for another future work order. Replacement part was required on dishwasher. They ordered it and then put it in on a second visit.

Repairman called to say he would arrive within 1/2 hour, which I really appreciate since I work full time. I met him at my home, he identified the problem immediately (broken coupling) and had the needed part in his truck. Finished the repair within 1/2 hour. He showed me the broken parts and pointed out how the newer parts were better reinforced and should last even longer.
Description of Work: Washing machine basket not spinning or agitating. Called for an appointment Monday and repair was scheduled for the next morning.

They sent someone out who didn't know what he was doing and wasn't careful with his equipment. He broke one of the tabs off and said "it's just plastic." He was totally unprofessional and completely unqualified. He had no clue what he was doing. I told him I didn't think he was going to be able to do the repair and he said, "yeah, you better call whirlpool," and left in a hurry.
Description of Work: I purchased a deal from Angie's List of $39 for a diagnostic service call. I needed them to fix my refrigerator.

The serviceman came at the beginning of their service window. He worked quickly and the job was completed.
Description of Work: We have used them four or five times. We will always call them. The handle on our microwave was broken. They ordered part and replaced it. We have used them for refrigerator and dishwasher and oven and microwave repairs.

The repair place had a very easy to use website contact. Friday I gave my name and phone # with very brief description of problem. A short time later I was called, an appt was made for this very day and the repair was completed.

Very well. He even recommended a dishwasher cleaner that will help alleviate future clogging problems. I asked him to recommend a refrigerator and he suggested models I should avoid. Very helpful.
Description of Work: Both my refrigerator and my dishwasher went on the blink at the same time (natch, right?). I called Lerman's and was able to get a service tech out right away. Mike, the service tech, came in, checked both appliances and was able to quickly identify the problem(s). Unfortunately, the refrigerator was beyond repair (but it's 20+ years old), but he was able to fix the dishwasher with no problem. He explained what was wrong with both appliances and what he could (and could not, in the case of the refrigerator) do. He was prompt and professional. I will definitely go with Lerman again for any future appliance repair needs.

As explained above, all transactions were very professional.
Description of Work: My ice maker stopped working. then, the morning they were to come out, it started working again. I explained this to them, and they couldn't have been nicer. Saying, they were glad the ice maker was now working and should something come up, just to let them know and they'll come out and help. This is a "class"' organization.

The technician fixed this, but what impressed me about this incident was the person on the phone at Lerman's. He told me how to fix it myself, by turning off the fridge and letting the ice melt. Unfortunately this would have taken a few days and involved asking a tenant to move a bunch of food and have no refrigerator for those days, so I couldn't do it. But it was most impressive that the company would place great customer service over making money. The $39 coupon also saved me some money.

The pump was broken and there was also a broken plastic fork causing a burning smell. He knew what was wrong on both counts, almost immediately. Ordered a new pump and came back and installed it. Good as new. Brilliant, professional, approachable service. So knowledgeable, I'm just waiting for something else to break so I can call them to fix it.. I've been telling everyone I found the perfect appliance repair service.
