They were punctual and very responsive. They were ready to come out immediately, but I had prior plans. They came later in the day and the fix was the price they had quoted on the phone.

We shopped a couple other vendors. The salesman who came out to give an estimate was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to give feedback on several different brands of doors they carried as well as address some concerns about the particular door we chose. We also went to their showroom to look at the door we were considering. While the folks at the showroom were nice, they didn't seem quite as knowledgeable as the sales representative who had formerly worked for one of the garage door manufacturers. Installation was scheduled and the team arrived on time and did their work with a good attitude. The only thing that would have made them an A instead of a B for professionalism is if they had vacuumed the saw dust with a shopvac and been a little more thorough in reviewing the paperwork/operation of the new door (but I'm a really hard grader!). Overall, I would not hesitate recommending Chandler to anyone looking for a new garage door, regardless of the price point you are considering (ours was not the least expensive door they sell and it was no way near the most expensive).

They are really good. They are really focused on customer service. They answered the questions that I asked them, in detail. Their price is reasonable. They arrived on time to do the work.

Outstanding work from start to finish. EJ called ahead 20 minutes prior to arrival and came around 10:00, well within scheduled window between 9-11am. Quickly diagnosed the problem in addition to other problems which upon my close inspection revealed he was right on and I was somewhat mortified that I missed these obvious problems, but felt good that I hired the right company. EJ walked me through other things to be aware of, what to do to maintain the garage and openers, etc.; a wealth of knowledge and experience. About 1 and a half hour later, not only was my doors fixed, but some annoying problems and sounds that I've had forever, disappeared. Hire this company. Outstanding and reasonable. Note: The final price was a bit higher than the original estimate, but that's because I had EJ do additional work above what was originally planned.

I picked this company after reading the comments and overall recommendation on Angie's list for several nearby companies. Called them on Christmas eve and they gave me a two-hour window for the appointment on the day after Christmas. The rep also suggested that I check to make sure that the sensors are not blocked when I described the problem. She offered to cancel the appointment if this fixed the problem. Danny, the tech, arrived 45 minutes into the time window I was given. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it in 10 minutes. He also explained the source of the problem and made some recommendations regarding routine maintenance. Very friendly and courteous.

Visited showroom at 42606 Christy St. in Fremont. (Their OLD address was on Osgood Rd). Open Sat, a good thing for our schedule. At 1st sight, the staff person seemed young, but she knew her stuff. Showed us 3 operating doors/openers including the jack-shaft, other working motors not attached to a door, and some freestanding doors. Also showed us a website where we could design our door. Had brochures & prices for many different options/components on the spot. Estimator came out to measure as scheduled (on a weekday). Not the most outgoing or engaging conversationalist, but again, he knew his garage door stuff. Provided written estimate for 2 options, with no sales pressure. We got estimates from 3 different companies. This one was in the middle, but seemed to have the smoothest operation from showroom through installation. We picked the date/time for install (again weekday). Things went as scheduled. Work site left very clean.

Chandler when they heard the situation agreed to send a repair person to the house within the hour. The repair person came gave me an estimate and repaired the springs quickly.

Representative showed up on time, looked at our garage door and said one spring was broken, and that we could replace just one or both (I chose to have him replace both). He did the work quickly, and explained what he did afterwards and how long we should expect the springs to last (five to ten years). Our garage door is much quieter now, too!

While we could not be home for the installation, we were advised by the Chandler representative we did not need to be present for the job. Their estimate was comparable to others but they could do the job within a few days vs. a few weeks for other bids. Not only did they finish within their 3-hour window, they were able to start earlier. The door looks fantastic and the motor is extremely silent! They framed around the door for a flush fit, hauled the old door and engine away, and left the work area spotless. All warranty information, work order documents, instruction manuals, remotes, and accessories left where we instructed.

Arrived a little later than was expected and immediately identified the springs as the problem suggesting we replace both rather than the one that was broken. After completing the work he explained what he had done and what maintenance I should do, how often and with what products. Very good professional attitude. Highly recommended.

They came within the time period of the appointment, and performed the service quickly and professionally. Got the gear changed out, lubed the hinges, adjusted the spring tension, and cleaned up nicely. We are very happy with the service.

Very well. Another company told me the opener was hopeless and I needed to replace the whole thing for over $1000. Larry MacDonald told me it was an easy fix and repaired it within the hour for approximately $100.

Overall the installation went well, although it took much, much longer than estimated (the 3 to 4 hour installation ended up taking all day). The installer was very courteous, very clean and had a great attitude throughout the long install. Given that we had a custom installation, the company probably should have sent two people.

They did an ok job. They fixed the problem and it works. The cable was broke and they were probably the most reasonable in the area. The were nice, got the job done and I paid them and they left. I would recommend them.

DOOR WAS SHUT AND WOULD NOT OPEN. THEY CAME WITHIN HOURS AND BROUGHT THE RIGHT PARTS AND FIXED THE DOOR TO OUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION. THEY WERE PRETTY NICE AND GAVE US A GOOD DEAL FOR THE REPAIR.

THE SERVICE MAN WAS PROMPT AND DID A GREAT JOB. WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH HOW QUIET OUR DOOR IS NOW, WHEN WE OPEN IT. HE DID MORE THAN WHAT WE HAD EXPECTED.

EXCELLENT JOB; EXPLAINED THOROUGHLY HOW THE DAMAGE HAD OCCURED; VERY COURTEOUS. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN'S NAME IS TUAN. I CANNOT GRADE THEIR PRICES BECAUSE THE REPAIR WAS DONE UNDER HOME WARRANTY POLICY. WE PAID ABOUT $50 DEDUCTIBLE.
