 + -1 moreI don't think they knew what they were doing with my car. For sure I won't take my car or any car to them. After that happened to me, I started asking people around about Stellar Performance and all I hear is that they are crooks. I don't know if they really are crooks or not, but all I can say is that I had a negative experience with them. I would not recommend it to any one, but I am just talking base on my experience.
Description of Work: I first brought my 2009 Toyota to Stellar Performance in December 2011 for a brake problem. After they inspected my car, they contacted me by phone and told me several auto parts had to be replaced. I agreed on replacing front right and left caliper with hardware, front ceramic brake pads, and front disc brake rotors. I spent a total of $1,124.00. After I took my car home, it had the same problem that it had when I first brought it to Stellar Performance. Then, I called and let them know my vehicle still had the brake problem to which they instructed me to bring the car back to them. I dropped off the car to the shop, and went home that day. Next day I was contacted by one of the guys from the shop and told me that another part had to be replaced. This time it was the ABS actuator. I agreed on replacing the part spending $635. When the work was done, I picked up my car and went home. Shortly after that, my Toyota started to repeat the same brake problem. In March, 2012, I took the car to Stellar Performance and explained them the car still have the problem; I was instructed to drop off the car and wait for them to check it out. Stellar Performance contacted me two days later and informed me that the ABS actuator had to be replaced again (the same one that they had already replaced). But this time the work would cost $2,400.00. I decided not to replaced the ABS actuator and take my car home. I believe they misdiagnosed my car's problem and made me changed parts that didn't have to be replaced. I gave them two attends to fix my car and they have not fixed it. They made me spend a little over $1.700 and could not fix the car. I took my car to Toyota dealer to have the ABS actuator checked for malfunctioning and they told me that ABS actuator was working fine.

 + -1 moreThe shop is prompt and courteous. The work is performed quickly and efficiently. What every they do it is done right the first time. The price is a bit higher than the competition but the integrity of the work and the peace of mind that follows balances the scale in their favor.

 + -1 moreDerek at Stellar Performance was very friendly and polite and was willing to install the new radiator and hoses that I provided. The work was fast and thorough but I would especially recommend them for the courteous and honest treatment that I was given.
