Description of Work: Repaired a bound and broken track and rail that was stuck closed the very day the tenant was scheduled to sell pool table . The door wouldn't open and couldn't get table out . They came ASAP . Very happy with response time

+ -1 moreGarage Door Specialists was able to come out the same day I called, and within an hour I had two new springs and a warranty on the materials and workmanship. The installer also put some great lubricant on the entire door, all hinges and everywhere that makes noise; and the door is quieter than when I use WD-40 on the hinges. So whatever they use, it's the best. They left the door in better-than-new condition.

In all 3 instances, they showed up on time and quickly fixed the major problem and then adjusted all the doors. They are pleasant tow work with. Easy to schedule.

+ -1 moreWhen we went out to open the garage door to leave the darn thing would not work. I tried to fix it myself but I think I just made things worse. I got on the internet and called around to get prices from some local companies. Some said that they could not come out until 2 days later and some had hidden charges that they would not tell you about until you asked a bunch of questions. When I called Garage Door Specialist up the person who answered really knew what they were talking about and sent a repair person out that hour. When he got here he found out what was wrong right away, had the parts with him in his truck and quickly fixed the problem. The bill was less than their estimate and lower than the other companies I called. I really like doing business with people who know how to do the job right the first time and are cheep to use.
Description of Work: Fixed broken sensors at the bottom of the door. Lubed the door rolers.

I din't know anything about cycles of door springs and the different kinds that are sold for cheap out there from some guy that works out of the back of his truck. I called around and just felt good about Garage Door Specialists. They came out the very next morning and got the job done. They are very nice and professional and don't do the high pressure sales gig that some have done in the past
Description of Work: I had Garage Door Specialists come out to fix my garage doors (both springs on a large door) and they provided excellent service, I did my research this time and found that they use the highest quality springs not just the ones that will only last a year and get rusty in a short period of time. They are fairy priced and honest business people. They did a 24 point check up on both of my garage doors and made them like new. I like them because other door companies I've used in the past have quoted me a low price on the phone and when they got here, usually late, they tried to sell up (very high pressure too) and after it was all said and done they charged twice as much as they should have. My bad! Should have known better. I highly recommend Garage Door Specialists to provide good prompt and honest service. They have a good warrantee and seem a lot better to work with than the National High Pressure organizations that do a lot of advertising.

+ -1 moreI THINK HE WAS GOOD. HE WAS POLITE AND RESPONSIVE AND HE DID THE JOB. HE CAME AND I THOUGHT HE WAS FINE. IT DID TAKE A COUPLE OF TRIES BECAUSE HE DIDN'T GET IT QUITE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. HE WAS NEW TO US AND WE HAD SOMEBODY ELSE BEFORE, BUT THIS GUY CAME AND DID A GOOD JOB.
