The two men came in, they went to work. It was smooth sailing. At the very end,  a few vents were left closed and a few vent covers were installed upside down, which would prevent or direct heat away from the areas requiring heating. If we didn't catch it, we could've been in a jam. One of the two men was a trainee and that's who put the vents back incorrectly however it was the senior workers responsibility to check his work. I would use them again but I feel I would have to tell them that I want two experienced workers.

Here's a summary of what I experienced:
1. They did not properly inspect my air ducts before performing service (because if they had, they would have discovered a hole in one of the ducts which prevented them from doing a complete cleaning job.)
2. When I called to ask them to come back and complete the job, they refused, changed their story twice, and tried to blame me for having a hole in my duct.
3. They won't provide a guarantee of any kind.
4. They claim to be licensed on their website, yet they provide no license number on their website, on their advertising, or on their invoices.
5. They won't provide a legitimate address of service as required by California Law.
6. When I told them I would settle with them in small claims court, they threatened to sue me!
All in all it was an expensive ($256.00!) mistake to have hired them. They are rude and unprofessional, and I strongly urge anyone interested in this type of service to find a reputable organization elsewhere.

Response from Fresh Air
"Full duct cleaning service was provided and no signs of duct damage was detected. Homeowner advised me of rodent problems in attic. No signs of rodent activity/debris in our vacuum. Call to us 3 months later - we feel rodents chewed thru duct after our visit. All signs we look for indicate problem was post cleaning."

I found them on Angie's List. Overall, the work went very well. They were professional and showed up on time. Their quote was lower than the other quote that I interviewed. They were clean and thorough.

Very good phone manner. Arrived on time; set a one-hour window (11 am-12 noon); not an all-day window. Prompt and clean. Polite. No excuses, no jacking up the price. I will hire this company again.
