We collaborated with the engineer and Paramount Pavers complied with the requirements to ensure we were happy and built our wall within code. The driveway should last another 70 years.
Description of Work: My retaining wall was leaning and moving away from the driveway. I had an engineer draw up what was needed and bid the project out to several contractors. While not the lowest price, I trusted Paramount with the project and they did not disappoint.

+ 1 moreWe hired Paramount to replace our 62-year-old asphalt driveway, remove our crappy drought tolerant landscaping and replace it with artificial turf, and install a vinyl picket fence. The entire process was painless and easier on me than I expected. It took about 2.5 weeks from start to finish. If I texted Rudy and Isaac they responded quickly and took care of whatever I was bugging them about. The price was fair and it only went up once, when a patch of turf needed to be installed that we hadn't accounted for. I would definitely hire them again.

Though I was out of town for the entire project, from the beginning they worked directly with me to discuss many various options for my backyard patio (pavers vs. stone vs. concrete) including the technique required for each and the resulting cost for each type. They were able to do a video chat with me since I was out of town to walk through the yard and explain what they recommended and why. Their bid was thorough and outlined what each stage would cost so I knew what I was paying for. During the project, Paramount did a very good job of sending me photos and videos of each step of the project so I could follow along and they were always very responsive in answering any questions I had. They were not the cheapest bid I received for the project but I took a chance on them (they were not referred to me by anyone) because of the time they took with me and the flexible, helpful and positive attitude they offered throughout the bidding process. I would absolutely recommend them and look forward to working with them again when the need arises.

Both Rudy and Isaac were fantastic to work with during the estimation and planning process and they were great at communicating throughout the process as well. The work that the team did is top notch. They worked quickly yet paid much attention to detail. The driveway was an eyesore before but is absolutely beautiful now. They also did really nice patch work on some prior crack/chips on my patio. + -1 moreIt went perfectly well. We hired a wrong company for the house project. It was significantly delayed. When we looked for help from this company, we only had about 2 weeks left to finish the drive way, or else city would not extend our permit. They came for estimate right away, gave a reasonable quote, started the job as soon as we agreed on their proposals. Even the schedule is very tight, they did not cut corners. Instead, they gave suggestions to improve. Their subs are great, and their own team was wonderful. The project was beautifully done, and on time too. They even referred other people to help us on other works that need to be done. We are very satisfied and thankful, city inspector was very impressed too. We highly recommend this company. We know how important to pick the right company. We went through the pain. Hope you don't have too. If you are looking for pavestone, this is the right team. We plan to have our brick walls done by them too. Will leave review by then. I am sure it will be just as good.

+ 5 moreIsaac and Rudy came to our initial appointment. They asked us direct questions about the project, had some suggestions, and listened to our preferences. We also told them we had a tight timeline of 6 weeks. They had a detailed estimate for us in under a week. Once we hired them they started working almost immediately. Their employees were punctual, friendly, and respectful of our space. They worked hard 6 days a week and Isaac said because of our deadline we would be a top priority. He and Rudy both came out to check on progress and get our opinions on materials. They never pushed us to spend more, expand the project, or add expensive extras. I felt like they used their expertise to guide what I wanted and make it a reality. It was a large project and they finished in under 2 weeks. I will definitely hire them again if we decide to do anything else to our yard. They are excellent.

Thanks to Isaac and Rudy for getting this project done for us in decent amount of time and within our budget. They are the dynamic duo - always ready to tackle any challenges. You are only minutes away from a response via txt message - not days! They handled 90% of the stuff for us. We opted to get some of the finishing items - we have to have some fun in this process. They handled all the permits, scheduling and meeting with inspectors. They never asked for money upfront. We paid for what was done. That shows how legitimate they really are. I thought the home addition would be a daunting task and heard horror stories. These guys came through for us and we only have great stories to share. If you are looking for a room addition - check these guys out. We interviewed 9 companies! We did our homework and learned a lot just from that process. You want these guys working for you - they will get it done right!

I needed a new driveway, (pavers), and property dividing wall, (concrete block covered in stucco). They were always responsive, when I texted, I think I received a reply before I even clicked on "send!" They "got" my idea of what I wanted, and made my vision a reality. They will do whatever it takes to get the project done to your specifications. Their crew could not be more efficient, or friendly, with a high work ethic. Paramount Pavers stands by their work. They explained every step of the project and kept me apprised of what to expect and answered every question I had. Their prices were excellent and the end result has become the envy of my neighbors. + 10 moreWe found Paramount Pavers on Angies List after I had 3 other contractors come for estimate. I wasn't happy with any of them so resorted to Angies List. I'm so glad I did. All went so well. The 2 owners, Rudy and Isaac, were always available, had great suggestions, listened to our wants/needs. They never tried to sell us on anything we didn't want. We never felt pressure to do more than we had in mind. They stayed on budget, on schedule and everything was cleaned up better than it looked before. They were communicative the entire time, answered every call within minutes, provided us up-to-date updates on what would happen each day and their subcontractors were all professional and very cordial. My husband wanted a small portion redone on our balcony, and they didn't say a word and had it redone to our satisfaction in one day, no questions asked. I highly recommend them. They have already done work for a friend of mine and she is happy with their work too.
Description of Work: We had several big projects completed by Paramount Pavers. 1. They rebuilt our balcony and railings and it had all been damaged by wood rot. The entire balcony has been redone and looks great, including all new wood railings. 2. They replaced a ton of wood rot on our fascia boards surrounding the house, installed seamless rain gutters (they are beautiful and they look like crown moulding, not rain gutters). All looks great. 3. We had our fireplace and chimney taken out and a 8 food slider installed. Roof repair where chimney was looks seamless. workmanship was great inside the home and on the outside with stucco, drywall and paint finishing. 4. Our dirt backyard is now finished in beautiful interlocking pavers. We love the new look.

+ -1 moreI paid for the job in February and it's now August and the issue has not been resolved.
Description of Work: I paid for replacing my existing shingles on my roof with energy efficient "Cool Roof" shingles. The contract did not mention using torch down roofing, so I understood 100% of the roof would be shingled. The roofer only shingled 1/2 of my roof and used torch down on the other half. The price I was charged for this 1/2 shingle/1/2 torch down was excessive, I would never had agreed to pay $10,500. In addition the roof ended up being two colors (dark gray shingles with white torch-down). This was not the look I was going for. I now understand that part of the roof did not have enough of a slope to use shingles, but this should have been discussed and put in my contract. When I agreed to pay the $10,500 I was looking at 100% shingles and felt the price was fair. If I had known that only 1/2 would be shingles I would have never agreed to the amount charged. After months of trying to get this contractor to redo the job to what what originally agreed to (100% shingles in one color, or at least changing the existing shingles to match the torchdown) I got a second opinion. It was pointed out that the shingles used where not energy efficiency "cool roof" shingles. So now I learned Paramount charged me for one product and put an inferior product on my roof. I'm not sure what you call this, but I call this FRAUD!

We asked Isaac and Rudy to come assess our property and their expertise was immediately evident in comparison to the other companies whom we also asked to bid on the project. Work started promptly and proceeded efficiently. Excellent communication and professionalism the whole way through. Very high quality work and attention to detail. The Paramount team noted that the footings of the garage had become uneven, so they were able to re-align/re-level garage and place new concrete footings which have really improved the garage. I was impressed by the company's ability to adapt to this new discovery and offer a good solution at a good price. Work was completed over a 3-week period. Now that it is complete, we are really enjoying the new, usable space. We play basketball every day and play ping-pong in the garage. We are now ready to entertain and have people over for BBQ, etc. Overall greatly enhanced our property. We highly recommend Paramount Pavers and would happily hire again.
Description of Work: Old driveway made of flagstone interspersed with grass. Beautiful, but surface too irregular to be useful. Garage asphalt dirty and surface uneven. Demolish driveway and asphalt. Preserve and re-use flagstone to create border around newly poured colored concrete driveway. Use same concrete inside garage. Demolish one half of bi-directional flagstone staircase to make room for basketball court. Install basketball hoop, patch up now unidirectional staircase and repair wrought iron guardrail.

My wife and I went to a friends house in Burbank and we were taken away by their beautiful driveway and walkway that they just had done. Rudy and Issac did such a nice job with their place my wife and I wondered well maybe it's time we do our driveway and patio well. Got their information and gave them a call and within a few days they arrived and gave us a quote. I can't stress how nice they are! They also have a great eye for what looks good and what doesn't. They made wonderful suggestions that my wife and I didn't even think about! Most importantly they are honest people and they do great work! We got quotes from other paver companies and it was literally 10-15K more for the same job! They told us the project would be done in 10 days and they were done in 6.5! They didn't waste a minute! The workers were respectful and very clean! They were also very careful to not break anything and if things did break or crack by accident they would fix it right away! I didn't know this until they came over to give us a quote but they install synthetic lawns/turf as well. They did a great job with that too! If you want the job done right the first time and for a good price please do not hesitate to call Paramount Pavers!
Description of Work: Paramount Pavers took out our old concrete driveway that went all they way to our detached garage in the back of the property as well as the backyard patio and replaced it with decorative pavers. They also took out the brick walkway in the front of the house and on the side of the house and replaced it with pavers. In the front of the house they also removed the brick planters and replaced them with planter made from pavers. Last but not least, they also replaced the dying grass lawn in our backyard with beautiful synthetic turf.

+ 5 moreIt could not have gone better. Isaac and Uody were attentive, patient and extremely flexible. They listened to what we wanted and more importantly, what we didn't want to have happen. The best thing I can say about them is that they're honest. For example, they gave me a quote for how much the materials would cost to replace the piping for the drainage from the backyard to the front yard and I approved it. Turns out, they didn't need to buy as much and he was honest and charged me the lower amount. A lot of contractors would have just stuck to the initial quote for more money but Isaac did not. I was very impressed by that. They told us the whole job would take 5-7 days. They started on a Tuesday morning and finished it Saturday. It was wonderful to have a construction company deliver on what they promised. And both of them were a pleasure to work with. They were always a text or phone call away and addressed any questions or concerns we had immediately. I have already recommended them to friends and family and would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: We had Isaac and his crew redo our entire front driveway. They tore out the old, cracked asphalt and replaced it with brand new, beautiful pavers. They also ripped out two old brick steps leading to the house and replaced those with a gorgeous set of round, bull nose edge steps with built in lights. We also had them put in concrete slabs in the backyard, install new drains in the backyard, and replace the drain pipes leading to the front of the house
