We hired GC Bauer to put new siding on our house. Their work, level of professionalism, and customer service were excellent! We’re subsequently even hired them to install our glass sliding door, paint, and do some roof repair. They were great, and affordable! I highly recommend this company.

We had a lot of dry rot on the exterior of the home. Although the COVID was causing some delays, he kept in touch letting me know what will be happening and what is being done. He handled the additional changes we requested professionally and at a reasonable cost.

Arrived when promised; found far more damage than originally thought. Re-evaluated the length of time and materials required. Inclement weather caused delays in timely completion. However, I remained informed on the job timeline and all work was done in a professional and respectful manner.

We had problems with the payment records. Thats never good for hard working people. To give discounts then not record them. Its hard on the customer.

Josh (owner) and his crews were great to work with. I work out of town and only home every 6-8 weeks so I needed a contractor I could trust and rely on, Josh and his team came though. Everyone from the office staff to the crew member on site were great to work with, this is how it s supposed to be done. Very knowledgeable, followed through with communication regarding availability and when job would be done. Done on time. Easy to talk to, made good recommendations and found things, I had missed, that needed repairs as well. Excellent company live the attention to detail and appreciated the honesty. Quality work. Great people really helped me alot dealing with the insurance agents

I discussed my backyard remodel project which included a brand new deck, concrete patio and fencing with Bauer Home Services at the beginning of the year. During the initial communication they were eager to understand my vision for the remodel as well as consulting on details I was not familiar with and providing great suggestions. This crucial start of the project couldn't be a more positive experience. After the visit to my backyard and a few adjustments to the project details, communicated through email and text we crafted the perfect project plans that met my budget and functionality needs. This year was a wet one specifically and the rain delayed the project but even through all of this their high level of communication made it much more bearable. Now that the rains are behind us and the backyard looks amazing I couldn't be anymore happier. Thanks again to Josh, Earnest, Khalid and the team for the amazing backyard remodel and the wonderful experience. I will definitely call upon them in the future for additional work when needed.

I had water damage that was caused by poor installation of a dual pane window insert. When I contacted Josh, the only evidence of a problem was the deterioration of the sheetrock and water stains on the baseboards. I did not know the source of the water. Since the issue was in the walls, I had no idea of the extent of the damage. Josh came out to give an estimate and took the time to explain that the issue was at the top of the window insert. The cure involved removing the window insert, putting Z flashing above the window, applying a water seal above the window, applying stucco above the window, removing the interior drywall, cleaning up the termite damage behind the wall, treating the wood, insulating the wall, plying new drywall, and painting. The workmanship was great. All this work and coordination came at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Josh, Khalid, Ernest, Enrique, Jose, and Andy. You are a great team.

All of Bauer employees are extremely polite and professional. They did great work and responded immediately if I had any questions or issues. I highly recommend them.

We called two contractors we have used in the past. They never followed up. We called Bauer Home Services and Josh Bauer called back promptly, Arrived next day for estimate and a great deck replacement was the result. On site carpenters were very pleasant and professional.

We hired Bauer Home Services to remodel our masters bathroom and paint the masters bedroom. We picked this company from a list of 4 other highly recommended companies that we interviewed because of its high review ratings, the reasonable cost estimate and the company owner, Mr. Josh Bauer’s professionalism. Mr Bauer, his employees and subcontractors did not disappoint and exceeded all expectations. Everyone was always courteous, trustworthy and hardworking. Mr Bauer made quite a few adjustments to the work schedule in order to fit ours and prepared/submitted change orders as necessary. He communicated status and resolved issues in a timely manner. The whole experience, from estimate, contract, change orders, inspection, billing and invoices were all completed efficiently. Will definitely hire the same company and highly recommend it to anyone. Ian came out and replaced two of my doors. He did quality work and was professional. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

They over charge for travel--$354.50 per trip to Tracy, 21 miles. They charged 2 trips because they rescheduled my one day job into two partial days. Their first estimate was based on twice the work and they do not go below that estimate. Most contractors will charge for work done whether it is above or below the estimate. I asked the contractor to adjust the estimate prior to the carpenter showing up. He did not do so. I was charged for all the materials but they did not leave me the surplus material. The carpenter sent, Ken, was very good. The office billing practices are my gripe.

They try to sell you something more. They didn't clean up very well after themselves.
