I went to Home Advisor and requested 4 quotes and Josh was the only one that contacted me that same day. He informed me his schedule was very full at the time but he would make it work. We discussed all the things I needed and he provided me a quote and I hired them. Josh is very straight forward and not out to nickel an dime you. I made several change orders and he accommodated every one of them and finished on time. Josh made the process seamless and always worked with my schedule to minimize the amount of time that I needed to take off work. They always showed up on time and would make sure the area was clean before they left. Josh and his team are very honest and I felt a great deal of trust with them from the start. At no point did I ever feel like I was being taken advantage of. Josh and his team will be returning to do more work for me in the next few months. It is very rewarding for me to know that I have a contractor I can go to and trust!

I feel so fortunate to have found Bauer Home Services. Josh and his team are terrific. I hired them for a small job that morphed into a much larger one. He is straight forward, honest and he and his team are extremely knowledgeable and the quality of their work is exceptional. They ensured I was happy every step of the way and cleaned up after themselves every evening. I will absolutely be using them again.

Josh and his crew did an outstanding job on our project. As new homeowners, we were a bit intimidated by the whole permit process, but Josh helped out from start to finish and ensured everything was done according to local regulations. Josh respected our wishes in terms of what we wanted done and provided some much-welcome advice along the way. He and his crew were also highly respectful, clean, and courteous (they even timed their daily lunch break to accommodate my toddler’s nap time!). We are very satisfied with the finished product, and will no doubt be calling Josh for our future projects.

I feel very lucky to have found Bauer Home Services. It was a difficult process looking for a contractor but once I selected Josh to do the work, the rest was fairly painless. He and his crew were all great -- friendly, knowledgeable and good at their jobs. Thanks to the worst storms in recent history there were some hiccups (leaking windows), but Josh was very flexible and they were able to take care of things not in the original bid. Everyone was always concerned that I was happy with the work and when I saw room for improvement they obliged happily. I ended up with 5 change orders (I think), but every one of them were because of additions (or subtractions) that I requested. The original bid and every change order was very specific and there was never any question of what work was being performed. As for the quality of the work -- I couldn't be happier! My situation was a little different in that I needed the bottom 18" of drywall replaced around the entire house (thanks to 15 years of pet damage). At the same time I needed the interior repainted as well as replacing the carpet and putting in tile in place of linoleum. There were a ton of other smaller tasks that they did for me as well, but probably too many to mention. Everyone was fantastic and my house looks awesome! Also, I feel like I should mention this because I am a single woman living alone -- I was completely comfortable with everyone from BHS. My dogs loved them all (which is the true test), I was never afraid to be in their presence, and I was never concerned about leaving them alone in my house. They treated me and my house with respect, and that is so very important to me. If I need more work done, I'm definitely calling Josh...

First of all I'd like to say Josh is very concerned about his customers' satisfaction. If you are not satisfied, then neither is he. The work wasn't just a bathroom remodel but also a deck - removing old one and replacing it with a new redwood one, house painting, new gutters, and a few other jobs that we didn't get completed because life happened and we ran out of money. When taking off the old gutters there was some rot on the roof and he was able to make those repairs, adding years to our roof. The deck is 1000% times better than the old deck he replaced. We even reduced the size of the deck to save a little money and replaced the remainder of the deck footprint with a cement slab with potential expansion of the house in the future or a spot for a hot tub in the near term. The painting and new gutters were finished just in time for the rain and makes the house look brand new, the shiniest on the block. The real stars of the work, however, are the bathrooms. They were in serious need of work. With his touch, they turned out better than we could have envisioned. We picked out everything and they installed it all, tile in shower, tile on floor, vanities, mirrors, wall cabinets, paint to match the tile, brand new lighting and a new clear shower door to show off the beautiful work. We can't wait to save money so we can have him come back out to do the kitchen.

Josh was great and his guys do excellent work; the quality exceed my expectations. Their prices are good and they go above and beyond to make customers happy. I will be using them again for the rest of the remodel on my condo.

We had a difficult time getting the repair scheduled. We initially had two repair jobs that needed to be done, but because they had sick employees it took several weeks before someone was available. In the meantime we ended up replacing the garbage disposal ourselves.

Very helpful, would/will hire them again for any add'l work in our home. On time, courteous, respectful and great pricing adds up to a very satisfied customer, still to this day!!!

I am pretty detailed oriented and wanted a sense of cost prior to work. I put together a request for quote which detailed my requirements and then had them respond. I was please\d with their response, revisions and final quote so I selected them to do the work (three new doors for the house). They were very promt at being on site for the project. They completed the project ahead of schedule and the quality of the work performed was outstanding. I woujld recommend Bauer Home Services to any of my neighbors. I also plan to use them in the future for other projects.

Incredible contractor. I have never had as high of a level of professionalism and customer service on anything I have done. These people are a 1 in a million company. Don't even think about hiring someone else. Hire them and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Josh was incredible in helping me select the door, color and accessories to ensure an outstanding look to my exterior door. You will not be disappointed with him or his staff! I would highly recommend his company to anyone!!

Very professional and customer oriented. I received regular updates on the progress of my project (materials ordered, scheduling, etc.). The service person notified me that he was going to be 30 minutes later than the scheduled start time. Work was complete, clean up immaculate, and I've had no reason to call them back to correct anything.

Very fast repsonse, estimate was very close to actual cost even when additional work was needed, will hire and refer others.
