Ken & Karen's Housecleaning

Description of Work: I purchased the deal for $59 for 3 Hours of Housecleaning. ‘D’ They missed a lot including the entire living room.

Description of Work: Three people came by to complete a standard cleaning because they were running late due to a transportation breakdown. Several" basics" remained in cleaned at the end of their service: all three toilets, one out of the two baths and the microwave. This has never happened before with a standard cleaning. I am thinking the third person might have been a friend to help out and not a professional. What I got was a less than par job in a shorter than stated time period due to the addition of the third person. The second person, not Karen (who was very nice) swept in and out of the place with a brusque, unprofessional attitude. They left in a whirlwind with a shocked customer wondering why I keep purchasing "Big Deals" on Angie's List that seem to so often be such "Big Busts".

Description of Work: Cleaners were scheduled to arrive between 0830 - 0845 on 9/19. I received a phone call at 0945 stating car trouble and the mechanic was there working on it. I asked when I could expect them to show up - I did not get a firm answer - I told them to call back in 1/2 hour and update me, that I had things to do and could not wait around all day. I did not receive call - I feel that the they are irresponsible - they should have called me at 0845 to tell me they were having problems and because of this I cant trust them to do a good job cleaning my house. I called you guys and asked for a refund. I then left Ken and Karen's a message informing them if my intent to cancel service.

Description of Work: Our house is very old and difficult to clean, but they did a superb job even one person short in their crew. We are very happy with the service and will continue to use them.

Description of Work: Ken and Karen Cleaning is by far the best cleaning service I have had thus far. Karen is thorough and all around professional. At first appointmnet I went over the things I want to get cleaned every two week and she made sure it get done and some. She was also very patient working with me through my bathrooms remodelling projects and cleaning all the dust and remodeling mess... Right now, she and her coworker clean the house every 2 weeks and I am completely satisfied with her work. Importantly, Karen is flexible in working with what your housekeeping needs are, such as special deteregents, etc... The other big name companies I have tried always send different people that I have to train each time. This never happens with Karen. Could not be anymore satisfied. I feel lucky in fact she added me to her list considering that I am little farther than her area. Would definately highly recommend!

Description of Work: Karen scheduled an appointment for me, as per our conversation on the phone, but never called me back to confirm, like she said she would. But I set time aside for the appointment for her to clean my house. I didn't check my email for a few and in the mean time she canceled the time she scheduled. So I called her the day she was to come, left a message to see when she was coming, and she left a message saying she had canceled via email, which I had not checked, apologized for not calling me to confirm and referred me to somebody else she had working for her to clean my house. I emailed her back that I thought she was disingenuous and attempting to scam via Angie's list, because I wanted someone from Angie's list--not someone she could refer. She replied with insulting remarks, calling me a liar and a child. This company is very duplicitous and dishonest. I want to let everyone know to not trust this company.

Description of Work: Wanted to use company but they were very slow to respond. They stated they were thorough and they made it seem very good, however, when I asked too many questions they backed off. They made me feel like I shouldn't have asked so many questions.
