If you love your car, I highly recommend using a different company! The best way to judge a company is by how they respond to their customer's concerns. This is especially true when a company makes a mistake or damages the customer's property. CFR Autodirect was supposed safely transport our brand new car (with less then 250 miles on the odometer) from NY to LA. Upon delivery, I immediately notified the driver of all the front-end damage was clearly apparent and had him take pictures. I also wrote down my concerns on the invoice and the digital documents. The driver told me my concerns would be addressed immediately. I never received a call from CFR. When I started to reach out, the true nightmare began. Getting a person at their claims office is close to impossible. They rarely responded to emails. Weeks after our 2017 car was delivered with thousands of dollars worth of front end damage, CFR Autodirect has failed to provide adequate information about getting reimbursed from their insurance carrier or through their company. A month after our car was delivered, I was finally able to get some responses from their claims department. Unfortunately, the information I was given was the opposite of what I was provided with when the process began. For example, I was told that I needed to submit a claim through their insurance carrier. When I attempted to contact their insurance carrier, I was told that CFR must initiate the claims process. It took almost a month of persistent emailing to get a response from CFR if the claim process was initiated with their insurance carrier- their response- this is a direct quote- " We do all our claims in house, and we do not have timeframe or nor do we go by clients timeframes for completing claims." To make matters worse, CFR stated that the reason why they had consistently failed to respond to my emails was because of Hurricane Irene. Yet my emails started a month before Hurricane Irene devastated the Caribbean and Florida. They claimed that their claims office was evacuated due to the hurricane. Yet the office information they provided for the Claims department stated that it was located in South Gate, California. Thats 2000 miles away from where the devastation occurred. Using a natural disaster that caused many to lose their lives, livelihoods and property as an excuse for not meeting their contractual obligations is not just dishonest, it's disgusting.
