Full kitchen remodel including removal of a 30+ year old kitchen and installation of a new electrical panel. Pristine obtained all necessary permits from my municipality and did an excellent job managing the process through completion. Work performed within the kitchen included demolition, cabinet installation, appliance installation, travertine floors, and recessed lighting. We are completely satisfied with the results and will engage Pristine to remodel our bathroom.

Pristine Construction handled everything from design, city permits, construction and any extras we needed. Pristine has a crew of employees and they only take a limited number of jobs so they can provide quality service to their customers. They usually deal with referrals by former clients and are constantly busy. Once we met Nathan and saw his level of commitment, Pristine is well worth waiting for!! Nathan Moses provided the design. He spent 3 hours with us at the appliance store to select the bathroom hardware, he spent an hour with me at the window store selecting windows and doors and he spent about 2 hours with us at the tile store selecting tile for the bathrooms............all about 1 1/2 months before we even began the project. They only had a $1000 retainer and he spent all of this time with us! This is the level of commitment you get with Pristine! As with any older house you can expect the unplanned or unexpected. We had to replace the sewer system because it was leaking, fix broken drainage pipes and add french drains but at each step, Pristine said, "No problem" and had a worker on site the next day. We didn't think the AC was strong enough to cool our western exposure bedroom, Nathan had the AC guy out the next day talking about solutions or removing our reservations. We thought the room needed a third coat of paint in one room, no problem. Everything was perfect. As I mentioned above, Nathan Moses and Mike Malka are fantastic. Mike will be onsite every day once the construction moves 'inside'. We were fortunate to have both Nathan and Mike come to the site every single day that workers were here. Pristine took care of the architect plans, city permits, inspections and coordinating everything. Sharona would call every day to tell us what was going to happen the following day so we always knew what to expect. We decided to add a spiral staircase and deck on top of the bathroom, Nathan researched and found comparative prices for the staircase. We ended up going with a company because we just connected with the owner from the start! It turned out to be a friend of Nathan....should've known!! Another advantage with Pristine is you pay direct for the tile and appliances using their contractor's discount and don't get charged an additional 20% as some contractor have done in the past. Why should I pay 20% more to the contractor depending on the cost of a bath tub? Pristine doesn't do that! Their work is outstanding! and they stand behind the work For example, I selected the tile for the shower nook and Faustino spent hours putting it together but once done, I didn't like it at all. The Pristine team says, "We want you happy." He came back on Sunday, took out all the tile and manually cut small pieces based on a custom design I drew and didn't think twice about making it absolutely perfect!! Amazing teamwork and wonderful group to work with! (And we weren't charged extra!!!!) You will love their work, their staff and entire team of professionals. There was never a disagreement or negative response. The team has a positive attitude, great work ethic and outstanding results. We hesitated for 15 years about doing this room addition because we heard terrible remodel stories!! If only we knew about Pristine Construction but sure glad we were referred. They are the best! The cost that I listed above is for room addition, additional closet built in master bedroom and guest room, new addition walk-in, complete remodel guest bath, new AC in 4 rooms, new sewer line, city permits.

Once again brilliant work by Pristine Construction. Complete gut of 30 year old kitchen yielded a collection of problems all of which were handled and solved with the expertise we have come to expect from Nathan Moses and his skilled staff. When a required DWP upgrade threatened to dramatically increase expenditures, Pristine found a way to mitigate a large portion of those costs while still satisfying requirements AND aesthetics. The cabinetry work was superb and the tile work exceptional. We used imported, handmade tiles, while beautiful in their own right, were transformed into absolute splendor upon installation. These are craftsmen. From the under cabinet lighting to the finest (and most level) kitchen floor this 75 year old house has ever worn we could not be happier with the work, the materials and the service..

Pristine came recommended by a neighbor, and they did not disappoint. The remodel came in on budget, ahead of schedule and the job was completed in an expert manner. Pristine was extremely easy to work with and kept us informed throughout the entire project. The finishes and attention to detail were professional. We are so thrilled with our new kitchen!

I have used Pristine previously for a large high end kitchen so I knew I could trust them. They matched the middle bid, they came in on the budget, they did the job on time, they were clean, they are honest, they didn't break anything, and they were careful with the dogs. The owner came everyday to inspect the work. Nathan helped me with paint colors and approved my choices, my husband told him he would be responsible if I messed up! they are great to work with, can't recommend them enough. They are so professional. We are very happy with their services.

Pristine Construction had remodeled my kitchen in the past and did an excelent job. Now i wanted to remodel my bathroom and I called Pristine again knowing that their job would be as good as the last time. Nathan understood form the beginning what I wanted to do with the bathroom and present me a design that was exactly as i had pictured in my head. They did my bathroom just in time for halloween, 4 days before schedule. There were no problems and the experience was very smooth.

After interviewing several contractors to do our kitchen remodeling we decide to go with pristine construction. Nathan one of the owners came to make the estimate and we click right away. After signing the contract they started and (for my surprise) they finish the scheduled day. I like that all pristine crew arrived on time and never left a mess at the end of the day. My wife and me are very happy with the final results and we are happy to recommend Nathan and his crew to any remodeling job. We will be doing the master bathroom soon and we will definitely go with Pristine Construction again

We've remodeled several homes, and Pristine Construction was by far the best experience we've ever had working with contractors. Either Nathan or Mike was on the Job Site almost every day, the workman were courteous and cleaned up after themselves, and the job was finished ahead of scheduled and turned out beautiful. We could not give a higher recommendation. Excellent company to work with.

We hired Pristine Construction second time around after they finished a beautiful kitchen remodeling for us earlier this year. We knew that we will be calling them again, hiring a different construction company was not an option for us. From the beginning stages they have planned our remodel with diligence, professionalism and accuracy. Our master bath remodel was even more involved then our kitchen. Nathan and Mike (Pristine Owners) were in our job site every single day, their team is well trained, each person in his trade. They worked very hard everyday and cleaned up at the end of each day. They take great pride in their work and the end results shows it , it is just flawless, from the tile work, cabinets, finish painting and counter tops everything is set just right. They are planning the work schedule in an unbelievable way so the work schedule is planned in a way there is no time wasted. The job was completed a week ahead of schedule and the total price stayed the same as Nathan told us in day 1. They even did some extras for us at NO CHARGE!!! Nathan and Mike are very friendly, easy to work with and have tromadance experience in the construction industry. They always steer you in the right direction avoiding you from making bad choices and their input as the job progress is unparalleled. We will not hesitate to recommend Pristine Construction to anyone that needs a new construction project, renovation or any kind of remodeling, From our perspective they are the BEST you can get. We are very happy to recommend Pristine Construction. It is always difficult to have construction work done while living in your home. However, our bathrooms were completed early without any re-work. Nathan's work crews always showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. A couple of high points: 1) Nathan was very helpful when we were selecting bathroom fixtures and materials (tile, grout, and paint). This was a painless process totaling about 3 hours. 2) Nathan and Mike (company co-owner) always dropped by our home to check on the work being performed as well as to answer any of our questions. Nathan and Mike pay close attention to detail and don't hesitate to point out any concerns to their work crews. 3) We were always kept informed as to when work crews would show up and what work was to be performed. 4) In 1 bathroom, some extra plumbing was required after demolition exposed some issues. This resulted in a 1 day schedule delay. However, the work was completed without extra charge to us because Nathan does not use outside contractors. His work crews, headed up by Mike, do the work themselves. 5) We were comfortable with having a lock box on our door so that work crews could get access to our home when we were not there. In a nutshell, we are very pleased with our new bathrooms and are anxious to show them off this Thanksgiving.

I have used Pristine in the past to remodel my Kitchen. They did such a fantastic job that I knew once I was ready they would be the ones to do my bathrooms also. Well, another fantastic job completed by the team at Pristine, my bathrooms are beautiful! I highly recommend Pristine for your remodeling projects, you will be extremely satisfied. The workers show up on time, always keep the work area as clean as possible. The work is organized so to be done in as quick a manner as possible for the homeowners convenience. If you need them back for any touch ups after job complete, they are quick to respond and accommodate. They aim to please, and their work really shows that! Very satisfied customer.

I am writing this after having completed a second home project with Nathan and Pristine Construction. Our friends referred Nathan and Pristine Construction to us after they worked with him on a remodel of their home and had a great experience. We first worked with Nathan a few years ago on our first project, a complete home renovation with every room in our home being redone. We replaced all the windows and doors in the house and installed a large sliding door to the backyard including new patio doors. Repaint of the entire home and installed a new gas fireplace. About three months later everything turned out just the way we wanted and it was one of the most pleasant home construction project experiences. When it came time to for our second project a complete re-roof of the house down to the frame and repairs to the home from water damage Nathan was our only choice for this type of project. After a week we had a beautiful new roof and another pleasant remodel. Along the way we had a few minor changes orders but things we added at our request. Nathan is very patient and discussed with us different ideas, giving us his opinions and advice to give us the best results so that we would not make any bad decisions. Overall we had a terrific experience working the Nathan, Mike and everyone who works at Pristine Construction. They crew are all punctual and all hardworking getting things done. They exceeded our expectations on both projects and we definitely would recommend others to them without any hesitation.

Our remodel was completed yesterday, 9/24. We started Tuesday 8/11. i think it's a new record - a little over 5 weeks for a massive remodel of our kitchen, guest bathroom and all new floors throughout the house. We met Nathan and Pristine a few years ago, when we were looking to remodel our master bathroom. Pristine was (is) one of the highest recommended contractors on Angieslist, and we included him in our bidding and review process. he won us over, and several weeks later we had a fantastic new master bath, and the most pleasant home construction project we had ever been through behind us. When the time came to remodel the rest of the house, Nathan was our one and only choice. A remodel of this size is not a small undertaking, and not something you consider lightly. We actually debated for more than a year, weighing options and costs, and Nathan patiently would work with us, sitting at our old kitchen table, discussing options and giving opinions on how to get the best result. With Nathan and Pristine in charge you really have a great partner by your side, helping avoid bad decisions (tell me, how many kitchen remodels do you do a year? Nathan does a ton, and has so much good advice!). The remodel started at 8AM on 8/11, as promised. The crew showed up every day, on time, ready to work. I would often stop by unannounced, and the crew was always hard at work, no distractions, getting it done. Mike was our project manager, and kept the day to day flow of work well in hand. His crew was immensely helpful in working around us, as we stayed in the house during the remodel. They would help us carry heavy items, and they made sure our living space was untouched and protected from the construction as much as possible. Final polish is now complete, and the house looks amazing. We essentially have a whole new house. Nothing was untouched. New kitchen, custom cabinets, new appliances, walnut floors throughout, new guest bath (was gutted), all new lights (LED), paint on all the walls, new baseboard, you name it. It looks stunning. Hard to believe it's the same house actually. Nathan, Mike and Pristine are as good as it gets. The original timing estimate was 3 months - they beat it by almost 2 months. There were days that a crew of 8 or more was in the house at once, all working on different items. That's unusual, so don't let that be your expectation, but do expect Nathan to over-deliver every time. We incurred a few change orders, but all of those were items that we chose to add or change. All told that ended up being pretty minor. Pristine is not the least expensive option, but do you really want the lowest bidder doing this work to your house? Or do you want the right crew, with the vision, the creative chops, the construction chops to get this done perfectly? I can't say enough good things about them. If you have a medium to large home remodel project, and you want it done right, they're the best choice you can make.

My husband and I hired Pristine Construction to remodel our 3rd bathroom, which will become our first baby?s bathroom this December. Their workmanship, professionalism, and especially their attention to detail are what truly set them apart from other companies we have worked with. We met first with Nathan to explain our project, and he was happy to come meet us during the evening when my husband would be home from work. Knowing their reputation for such high-quality work, and that we would be such a small project for them, we were concerned that we wouldn?t be able to afford to go with Pristine. Luckily, we were wrong. Nathan gave us an estimate that evening before he left that we felt was very reasonable, and that was even a little bit lower than what the other company we met with (and didn?t like as much) had proposed. I called him the next day to sign the contract, and we were off and running. Nathan went to a kitchen and bath store with me to help look at fixtures and make recommendations, so that I wouldn?t be so overwhelmed by the options. He was also available by text or phone whenever I had a big or small question about materials or process, and I never had a hard time getting a hold of him, even though I knew he was working on other jobs at the time. The night before the work started, Shelly from the office called to tell me when the dumpster and porta-potty would arrive and exactly what to expect when the workers showed up. She continued to check in with me through the length of the project to make sure I was happy with the work and see if I had any questions or concerns. On the first day of work, the guys made sure that any floors they would work or walk on were well-covered and put extra effort into tightly covering my piano with plastic, because I was worried about the dust from the remodel. Mike was the lead Project Manager on our job, and he was very helpful and patient in explaining the process and answering any questions I had. I never felt stupid asking him a question, and always felt like he was ?looking out for me? and making sure that everything was done as well as he would want it done in his own home. That is really what impressed me about Pristine - they never cut any corners or took the easy way out - they really had a lot of pride in their work and did everything how it SHOULD be done, even if it took a little extra time or effort. For instance, we had chosen circular bubble accent tile, and rather than just cutting a straight line down the circles to made a 10? strip, Mike had our tile guy meticulously pull the small circles from one section of the accent and fill in gaps with these smaller pieces, so that our accent stripe is made up of perfectly-placed circles rather than randomly cut semi-circles. The tile guy also spent an hour with me figuring out the ideal arrangement of our shower tile so that the wavy pattern would not only look seamless across the wall, but that there wouldn?t be any awkwardly thin pieces above or below the window or at the top or bottom of the shower - all while minimizing the number of pieces we would need to buy. When we had delays in receiving some of the finishing materials I had ordered, I was worried because I knew Pristine had other jobs to do and probably wanted to finish ours up on time, get paid and move on. But Nathan and Mike said it was no big deal, they finished what they could, then came back for the last day of installation once our remaining items had arrived. They even did little ?extras? for us - such as hang our ceiling fans in other rooms, install and re-wire smoke detectors, and fix our leaking bathtub drain (the bathtub was the one original thing we kept - so the leak wasn?t their fault, but Mike came back after the job was over to fix it anyway). I?m sure most companies would have nickel-and-dimed us for such add-ons, but Pristine did it all as part of their commitment to excellent customer service. When the job was done, the men thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and left everything just as ?pristine? as they had found it - so they have definitely earned their name! We will not hesitate to call Nathan again for any future work we need done at our home.

All the above services were performed. All electrical covers were removed; holes patched, primed and painted with extra coats of paint as warranted. Ceilings were inspected and it was determined that they should be repaired, primed and painted within the scope of work. I wanted the hallway to have an absolute smooth texture and the craftsmen took great detail and time to meet my expectations and the surface is blemish free. Water damage that existed from my old roof was removed, new dry wall was installed as needed and the surface smoothed, primed and painted in the living room on the vaulted ceiling, above the two windows and above the bathtub in the hall bathroom. Crown molding and base board was installed, primed and painted in the one room needing this trim. The crew used plastic sheeting to keep dust from going into other parts of the house and each night they cleaned up so my rooms were able to be be used. They moved the heavy furniture and draped all furniture. One of my rooms was painted with a faux metallic finish and as each process was completed any changes that I wanted (more of this color or that) was done within the scope of work.

This project consisted of completing the replacement of our wood floors in our bedrooms. Fast. Reliable. Complete. They did exactly what they promised. They left the house clean and in order. We would use them again and would highly recommend them to our friends and to Angie's list readers.

Submitting the following review on behalf of my in-laws that were so impressed with the remodel that we had done by Pristine Construction of our kitchen and a bathroom in West Los Angeles that they decided to use Pristine Construction for their own remodel. This is what they said: Pristine Construction was amazing! From the first meeting with Nathan to the completion of the project, we felt complete confidence in their abilities. Mike and Nathan came to see the project almost every day and were immediately available by phone if we needed to talk to them. Shelly phoned us three or four times a week to let us know which sub contractors were coming and to make sure all was going well. The workers are very conscientious, each in their own specialty , and are meticulous in their clean up when they leave for the day. The custom cabinets and tile look awesome. Hiring Pristine to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms was the best decision we made. We?ve been in our house for 12 years and eventually planned to remodel the kitchen. As appliances and other things began to fail, we knew it was time to start but couldn?t find a contractor we trusted. My friend mentioned her remodel was going great, so I met with her contractor, Nathan Moses of Pristine Construction. It was the BEST day ever because we finally found a contractor we felt could work with us. We are pretty easy going but had been burned on other jobs so I was so happy to meet a contractor with such a great reputation and beautiful portfolio of work. Nathan created an amazing plan for our remodel and we scheduled our start date. From day one, there was someone (and more often than not, multiple guys) working at our house. Every day!! The guys were neat, incredibly respectful, kind and sweet. Every night, our house was left as clean as possible. Nathan or his partner, Mike, were at our house every day, always answering questions, taking notes and making sure everything was finished completely. They always made sure we were happy with the progress. The entire house was touched: full kitchen remodel, walls removed (requiring engineering), all new HVAC, 2 total bath remodels, all new floors, paint entire house, small room addition ? a big job. Pristine finished all of that TWO MONTHS ahead of schedule. Our house is brand new! Our remodel could not have gone any better, faster or turn out more beautiful. My husband says it?s like living in a resort. We pinch ourselves that this is our beautiful house!! If you have been holding off on your remodel, your search for an honest, reliable contractor is over. They aren?t cheap but you get what you pay for ? our house is perfect and we never worried one day about our contractor. So, call Nathan at Pristine now. You will not be disappointed.

?just got out of the new shower and was admiring the artistry, craft, and precision of the tile work close-up. More than perfectly aligned tiles, the grout work too is all uniform and precise. The sealing of all tile and grout left the shower water all beaded up on all three shower walls. This attention to detail on a micro level extends to the entirety of the project. This review closes the circle first started when, being impressed by the positive reviews I read here on Angie?s List, we hired Pristine to do the job. Now here I am writing my own review from our first-hand positive experience in hope of benefiting the next researcher reading this. Believe! A remodel is like a lengthy sea voyage. You?ve got your co-captains Nathan & Mike (you?ll see they nicely complement each other) to safely navigate the ship through both still and challenging waters. Their leadership directs a talented crew who all instill confidence. You say where you want to go and what you want to end up with and Pristine Construction delivers you to your new destination! The remodel started on the agreed upon day and finished ? with all inspector signoffs -- when forecasted. Key milestones along the journey were achieved within days of Nathan?s original forecast. The entire Pristine team was responsive to our design wishes but had great suggestions along the way, many of which improved upon our ideas. Shelly, Pristine?s Office Manager, was always available to help liaison with others and to provide updates. I recommend Pristine Construction to you, and suggest you queue up your project; there?s often a wait for a time slot opening with these folks! On 02/12/2020 we requested that Angie’s List append our original review and also change our grade from an “A” to a “B. Two large mirrors (part of the original Pristine remodel) developed stains on the silver backing side of the mirrors where Pristine had glued the mirrors to wood frames. Because, over the last five years, these multiple stain spots became progressively worse, we reached out to Pristine Construction to ask for guidance to correct the problem. I am disappointed to share that Pristine Construction displayed neither concern nor interest in helping us make it right. First Pristine wanted more photos. Then they gave us a contact for a glass contractor who didn’t call us back, and, as it turns out, has an inactive CA contractor’s license. I ended up successfully hiring my own researched glass contractor and paying him direct.

Three of our neighbors recommended Pristine Construction, and we were not disappointed. The bathrooms look beautiful, and the paint and drywall work is meticulous. What's even better, is that these are people who are a joy to work with. Nathan, Mike, Gurgen, Shelly, and Milton were fantastic. Someone was working every day (no delays), and inconvenience was kept to an absolute minimum. We couldn't be happier with everything. Nathan joined us to select tile, plumbing fixtures, and other materials personally, and was a great help in putting together tasteful and elegant bathrooms. He was able to find us vendors who have the best quality hardware and fixtures at good prices. We never could have put things together as well ourselves without a ton of research. The workers went out of their way to keep things clean, and the quality of the work was really superior. The neighbors are all coming around to see the beautiful work. We are really glad we called Pristine. Highly Recommended!

"It's like walking into a magazine" as stated by two different visitors to our newly remodeled home by Pristine Construction. Nathan and Mike, owners of Pristine Construction abide by the premise that your home is their home, as shown by their work ethics and end results. We had interviewed several contractors but we chose Pristine because of the initial interview that immediately gave us confidence that this company would take care of us in a timely and respectful manner. Due to a plumbing leak in our home, our hands were pushed to finally redo a portion of our home. Our project included, a total demolition of our kitchen, down to the studs, addition of a powder room, and an addition to the master bedroom of a master closet and master bathroom. It was a huge project! From the beginning, Nathan and Mike visited the sight every day and their sub-contractors showed up on time and cleaned up before leaving. Whenever, we needed to contact Nathan or Mike, they always answered their phones. Their Office Manager, Shelley, called us, at least three times a week to check in with us. The personal touch does still exist! Nathan took us to his vendors to pick out plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile and windows and doors! The vendor's products were top notch but budget friendly. On April 13, 2015, three months to the day of starting, our huge project was complete! We now have a stunning white kitchen anchored by engineered hardwood floors, gleaming glass backsplash, beautiful soapstone counter tops, a huge island and pantry. We have more storage than we know what to do with. The cabinets were personally made by a craftsman who knew how to handle our cove ceiling. The lighting in the kitchen is excellent and the under mount LED cabinet lights add such ambiance. Our master suite is a peaceful retreat with soft gray walls, a huge walk in closet with craftsman made cabinets and the bathroom, oh the bathroom! The floor is marble, counter tops and backsplash a stunning quartz, flanked by another craftsman made linen cabinet. The frameless shower is exquisite, with Grohe fixtures, glass tiles and a pebble floor meeting the custom built seat. A pocket door now encloses the toilet! The exterior stucco of our house was also redone due to our addition of new, energy efficient windows. Of course, we added many additional items to our original scope of work due to the fact that we saw the incredible work of Pristine Construction. As other reviewers have noted that Nathan and Mike become a part of your family, so it has been for us. We could not recommend Pristine Construction more. We will actually miss seeing them each day. Thank you Pristine Construction and all of the Sub-Contractors for a job, more than well done!

Pristine Construction is the best! This is the second job they have done for me and my go-to company when I have any home projects. I highly recommend them for any new construction or remodel. Nathan and Mike are so professional and respectful and very reasonable. You won't have any nightmare stories with Pristine - they stand by their work 100%.

I was very pleased with Pristine construction. They had an excellent eye for detail and filled in those extra pieces that you don't think about until near the end of a project. They didn't charge more for those extra finishing touches, but did charge for major changes to the project (as any contractor would do). We had to install new hardwood after we found out that the existing hardwood was damaged beyond repair. The project finished right in the middle of the estimated time despite some hang-ups due to missing items such as tile (supplier's issue, not the contractors). I will finish this review more later.
