He called a couple hours prior to our appointment to let us know that he could stop by early if we were ok with that. We were and he arrived five minutes later. Very friendly and polite. He repaired our deadbolt right away and checked out a few other locks that we are considering changing. I will use them for any future locksmith work and would recommend them to anyone needing such repairs.

Before purchasing a $95 big deal for re-keying, I called David of D locks for details. He was very responsive and flexible as to my needs. Showing up right on time, David was friendly, personal and helpful. I most appreciated that he didn't talk me into buying services that I didn't need. Very professional and attentive. He made a new house key quickly, so when my wife had to leave she already had a key before David even worked on the lock. Fantastic! Called David at 11:30am thinking we'd have to wait for at least a couple of hours for a return call or appointment but he came over right away and the whole thing was done (from calling for the first time to finishing the installation) within 30min! Price was also fantastic as well! Would definitely use again!

It went really well. He was scheduled to come between 2 and 3 pm which was within 24 hours from the time I purchased the deal.. However, I asked if he could come earlier and he did. It was great. It was Awesome. I purchased a deal and thought that it would cover the cost of re-keying two locks on one door. He informed me that it was a little more expensive than what I was expecting. However, since he was re-keying two other doors of mine, he agreed to do it for the lower cost so the other deal could be used. That was amazing. He really appreciates his customers that come to him from Angie's list. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a locksmith. Very kind and reasonable fees.

D Locks were incredible. Their prices are reasonable. The guy could not have been more helpful, professional and wonderful. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. He went out of his way to go get the right part. He was really quite wonderful. This was the first time I used them and I'd use them again, in a heartbeat. On every conceivable level, it was the best people I've worked with. I wish he did other things. He really went out of his way. He had to go get a part and then he had to go like modify it. He really was fantastic. He's exactly the kind of person I love working with.

What a great guy! He called me early the next morning after I purchased the package, and was nice enough to come out after I could get out of work (around 4 pm). I have been meeting with so many different service providers because I have been between two homes but David has to be one of the most pleasant persons I have met in a long time. David is a very personable man who works fast, efficiently and quietly. There was no problem setting a date and time that worked for us. On the day he called and asked if he could come a little earlier as he was running a ahead of schedule - great for us! He was most obliging when we asked for help with a couple of extra issues and his charge was very reasonable. We enjoyed our time with David, will definitely call him again when we need a locksmith's assistance and would highly recommend his service.

D Locks was at my house as promised within a few hours of my call. He had to work me in which I was so appreciative of.He opened my locked jewelry case with not even a scuff and I retrieved my keys. It took him only a few short minutes to solve my problem. He had pre quoted a very reasonable fee and charged me exactly that number. I called David from Angies LIst because I had a horrible experience 3 days ago with a locksmith not on Angies List .(Aside from being surly, rude and unprofessional, the keys that locksmith made didn't work on all doors--the ones that did open were so rough that I had a huge bruise on my finger from trying to open them.) I made the appointment with David and he was here on time, and was such a pleasure to deal with! He knew exactly what the problems were, (wrong code on the key) and went to work immediately to fix them (even with my feeling dubious because of the other locksmith.) If I ever need any of the services he provides I will definitely use his company again--he's a treasure in this world of service providers---He knows what great service is!

Quality work at a decent price, the locksmith arrived at the time I wanted and was fully prepared for the job. The job was clean and everything worked out fine. I recommend using D Locks service.

We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of David from D Locks. We had an 8:30 am appointment but due to the fact that he had quite a distance to drive he arrived at 7:30 am to avoid traffic. He did not come to the door, he waited in his truck. We were already up so I went out to his truck to get him. I told him we have 2 doors with 2 locks on each door and 4 different keys. One of the locks, which is on a door with glass, has a dead bolt that you need a key to open from the inside. He said that lock was very old. He took it off and was able to rekey it. One of the locks on the door I wanted to replace with a lock that I already had. He replaced the lock for me. The deal was to rekey 2 doors/4 locks and 2 extra keys. For the price David went above and beyond. I would highly recommend and use him again. My 87 year old mother said he was very nice and good looking too!

I bought a house little over a year ago, but our front door dead bolt was very tricky to lock. It needed lots of figgeting. And my mother in law often left it unlocked because she just could not lock it. So I found a locksmith via Angies's list. I found D Lock, David called the same day of my purchase from Angie's list. I made an appointment for same Saturday at 8:30 AM. He show 8:30 AM Saturday, and fixed my problematic front door lock. Since I had bought the house a year ago, he recommended replacing all lock cores with new ones. I agreed and in doing so, he also fixed my kitchen door latch that was sticky due to alignment, for free. And he provided me with five new keys. I'm sure any qualified locksmith can do the same. But what I like about David is the fact that he was prompt, no BS about costs, professional about my needs and his recommendations, and he was personable, even with my kids. I would definitely recommend him to others, and I will for sure use him again if needed.

David did an outstanding job of fixing our front door lock. The key had got stuck in the lock when I tried to open the door and David came out immediately and fixed everything. He even showed me what to do if this happens in the future and he said I could do it and save a service call. He also aligned the door locks (double doors) and showed me how to lubricate the locks so they would work smoothly.

Your search for a locksmith ends here! Don't even bother calling anyone else because I give David the highest rating possible. We had an emergency because we couldn't get in a door, and it was more difficult than just a locked door--it was jammed on the other side by heavy materials. Originally David wasn't going to be able to make it to our home for 2 hours, but he re-worked his schedule and came in 20 minutes. He was cheerful, friendly, respectful and didn't give up easily on fixing not only the door, but what had caused the original problem. He helped with a couple other door problems he happened to see and point out, that involved hinges and door stops and hooks too. There are a lot of people on Angie's list that can fix your house problems, but it is their attitude that can make a difference in how you feel about the experience. David's prices were reasonable, and I was very happy with his work. I will definitely use him again.

I recently bought a house and wanted to have the front and back doors re-keyed and have two yard gate locks cut since the previous owner didn't pass on the keys. I happened to be at home on a Monday overseeing some plumbing work when it occurred to me to have the locks taken care of as well. I called D-Locks, David picked up right away and agreed to come over in a couple of hours to accommodate my schedule. I asked him over the phone what he would charge and offered to give me his Angie's List Deal rates even though I had not purchased the Deal. His price seemed extremely fair considering the drive time and work time so I agreed to have him come over without shopping around for rates. Once he arrived, he got to work right away and took care of the job very efficiently. He even gave me 2 master locks for free to replace the ones he cut. I would use D-Locks again and refer them without hesitation to friends.

My tennage boys recently broke their bathroom door handle, I thought the piece was repairable, so I saved it for re-installation. I inquired through Angie's List for a Locksmith in my area & saw favorable reviews for D-Locks, I spoke with the owner David Leiderman and he was professional and courteous, he came to my home that morning. After assessing the repairs, he called me at my office to say that the door handle was not repairable, but offered to drive to a local Home Depot & find an exact replica, then promptly returned to my home & replaced the door handle. I also asked him to check one or two other door handles that were sticking and he happily did so. He called me upon completion of the job, sent me an email with the exact description of the duities he perfromed, left me a very reasonable bill for his service and the parts and followed up the next day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. He was the consummate professional and I would highly recommend D-Locks for any locksmith duties you may have. David was excellent!
