David was very helpful by suggesting that I get a replacement key made at a locksmith service rather than a hardware or other store since he thinks the problem is with my key, not with the lock. I appreciated the fact that he was honest about it.

My wife called David at D Locks to repair the latch on an exterior door that would frequently either be stuck locked or would be unable to close properly. He set up an appointment for that afternoon and arrived promptly. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed the lock. He even showed me the tool that I could purchase so that I could fix similar problems in the future myself. David was terrific and we would definitely use his services again if needed.

I was trying to replace a deadbolt and thought the opening on the door needed to be enlarged. David showed up and showed me how to adjust the collar and it fit perfect! He didn't even want payment. But I gave him a few bucks. Great guy!

Very prompt follow up to the initial request for work. Honored Angie's LIst Coupon. Called on his way to let me know he'd be a bit late but was less than 10mins late. Educated me about how to fix the lock he repaired so I could do it myself next time (liberal application of WD-40, of course) and made quick work of the lock replacements as well. Professional, clean, pleasant and honest.

David was super friendly on the phone and was able to come out the same day. He kept in touch regarding his timing via text throughout the day, which was greatly appreciated. He installed a second deadbolt on our door, and also rekeyed the existing deadbolt and lock to match, all within 45 minutes. He was very friendly, professional, efficient, and at the end gave me some tips on what to do if the locks ever stick, or some other issues, so that I wouldn't have to call anyone to come fix that. My only regret is that I don't have a larger house so I could give him more work!

I purchased the Angieslist deal for 4 locks. They emailed same day and called the following day for scheduling. Arrived on time, re-keyed the gate lock and guest house lock, consistent with the master property key. Also gave free guidance to get garage door to re-sink with my remote since our entire neighborhood lost power last week and I shifted garage door to manual and had not yet shifted it back. He was timely and in no rush. He corrected some lock issues which remain from a prior locksmith a year ago. I also arranged for another interior job for him to return and add some additional locks inside. He texted a website for us to pick the replacement door hardware of our choice and he'll probably be the choice to upgrade the property to a smart home. I want Ipad controls on locks, security, lights, etc... This is offerred by the big internet providers, but we'll use them for a couple of exterior doors and systems, while most functions of the house are only seen and controlled by our own system. David seems to be extensively knowledgeable about the various systems and has an in-house person handling and installing these matters.

Went well. David's a nice guy, and did a good job. I would definitely call him again, if I needed a locksmith.

On the initial visit David fixed our front door lock. He did a good job. He did not have a bolt lock for the back door so he asked me to purchase one and he would tell me how to install it over the phone. This did not sit well with me. . When it was clear that I would have no time to purchase an appropriate bolt lock, I called David and asked that he complete the job as specified originally. This time he immediately made an appt. He was exactly on time and installed a new bolt lock. The job he did was highly professional.. Appropriately,, he charged me only for the cost of the lock and no additional labor since he was actually completing the initial job, David is a very nice and very professional person. I am glad I called him back, since it seemed there was a miscommunication. I would without reservation use him in the future.

I thought he was great. He was very nice. I liked him a lot, and I was going to recommend him on to my mother. He came out shortly after I bought the big deal. He did a nice job and was very polite. He seemed reliable to me.

David is a mensh of the highest order. He came to our house on a Sunday evening an hour after calling him to handle an emergency removal of an aging and defective door handle that had locked us out of our master bedroom. He returned on Tuesday to finish the remaining work, which included the removal of a front door deadbolt, cylinder and handles and the removal and replacement of a deadbolt and cylinder in the side door leading to the garage, as well as a resizing of the door plate so that the deadbolt would lock completely. David also keyed the locks so that one key would work for both locks, and cut three extra keys right on the spot at no extra cost. His work was outstanding, his customer service was exemplary, and his pricing was fair, especially considering the emergency service. In our opinion, David is the go-to locksmith.

Excellent. He opened the locked door (the entire cylinder had come out) and installed an entire new lock. He was a good guy and was interesting and fun to talk to while all of this was happening.

He arrived within 20 minutes of our initial conversation and fixed the problem within (maybe) 15 minutes, which included a thorough explanation of the problem and how to solve it (and other similar problems). He was exceptionally friendly, courteous and understanding of our need with the problem, and only charged us $20 to fix it (we initially purchased a $24.95 call for his services through Angie's List). I highly recommend David and his company for anyone seeking fast, friendly and thorough locksmith services.

What can I say that hasn't been said already? He was incredibly quick. Arrived within 15-20 minutes. Did exactly what he said he could do quickly and efficiently. David is excellent at his craft and the price he charges is at a steal, when compared to his competitors. I would recommend him to anyone.

I called the provider to see if I could purchase the big deal of $35 for $75 worth of Locksmith services to do an "emergency service" to come unlock my front door. Apparently it does not- even though this is not stipulated as an exclusion on the big deal. The locksmith made a point of just blaming Angie's List for not correcting the mistake in the advertisement. Very disappointing.
