Brad Sayre Landscaping surpassed our expectations. They were honest, upfront and fair with the bid and with our design changes/add-ons. They completed the job (with additions) within their estimated time frame. We were happy with the communication regarding our design and planting requests. They took our basic plan and with their expertise, adapted it to our yard with amazing results. The fieldstone walls and the exceptional flagstone staircase are now the centerpiece of our new back yard. We asked for a low maintenance, low water, functional back yard and they knocked it out of the park.

As all good home owners should do I acquired more than one quote for the job. The first quote was a horrible, up sale and over charge experience. My second was with Brad Sayre of Sayre Landscape services, it went very well and he was hired for the job. Sayre Landscape services is a family owned and ran company, Brad and his son Daniel as well as the rest of their crew were professional and friendly. Brad's quote was honest and up front with all costs and expectations. Brad was able to meet for the assessment and provided an estimate within a timely manner, the project was completed sooner than expected, and we love the work they did. There isn't much else you could ask for in a Landscaper.

Brad is a horticulturist and was extremely helpful as we decided what plants and trees to use that were drought resistant and inviting to butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Brad’s son, Dan, and worker Danny, were professional, efficient, and friendly. We had some changes and additions we decided to make as we watched the wonderful job they were doing, and they were most accommodating and provided some excellent suggestions. I would definitely use them again.

Brad listened carefully to our ideas to re-landscape our backyard. He offered sound advice, based on his experience and our vision, and created a design that was perfect for our yard. He and his team were very efficient and professional. I highly recommend Brad Sayer.

Brad Sayer Landscape Services Inc handled my front and back yard makeover. Brad's vision for my landscape turned out beautiful. His crew is awesome, they work fast, no nonsense, friendly, and I cannot emphasize that they know what they're doing. I was happy this project was completed early with no unexpected issues. We recently had our front & back yard landscaped by Brad Sayre Landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. Our project included new lawn in the front & back yard, numerous plants plus a 12’ maple tree, irrigation, and pavers for the back patio. Brad’s business is family owned & operated, with his daughter Hailey from Devil Mountain Nursery in Petaluma who supplied the plants, his son Dan, who with crew Justin & Russell did an outstanding job on the sod, plant and paver installations, as well as new irrigation in the front & back yards. After the Tubs fire our landscaping all burned & had to be replaced. Brad & Dan knew just what we wanted. They did a great long hard job first getting rid of all burned landscaping, then putting in new dirt, plants, trees, a new irrigation system & fir bark. If you want a excellent, honest, landscaper that works hard & knows what he's doing, I would call Brad. You won't be sorry. JH

I have worked with Brad and crew for a few years. He has helped me re-create the half-dead, overgrown front and back yards into a garden I love and can enjoy every time of the day and in all seasons. Their collaborative assistance with design has worked beautifully; the crew is punctual, hard-working and neat. The weekly maintenance visits keep everything looking great. I first want to say that I did not want to write a bad review, and I have put this off for a year hoping it would not be necessary. I was looking for landscape/yard maintenance and found Brad Sayre's name with great reviews on Angie's List. In January of 2018 I set up an appointment for Brad Sayre to come to my house and consult on work that I needed done; yard maintenance, weeding, weed eating, trees cleaned up, pruning and some irrigation put in. Our property does not have landscaping completed. Our grass area was just green weeds, mowed. We had landscape plans drawn up but had not started yet. After talking with Brad he told me that he was not able to do the work. " That there was no money in it for him." He said that for the work I needed done that, " I should just hire some mexicans" to do it. He said that doing the work would not make him any money since I do not have any landscaping done and won't need regular maintenance. I explained that I had landscape plans drawn up and he said he would give me a quote to do the work on the plans. He said that if we had him to the landscaping then he would come and do the work I needed on the yard at that time. I said that once the landscaping was done I would want him to come every two weeks for maintenance. He said that he only weekly maintenance. So Brad took my plans with him to give me a quote for the work to be done. Here are the emails Brad and I exchanged back and forth. I have not been able to reach Brad and left voicemails. My husband has also called him a couple times, no answer so left voicemails, asking for the plans back. At this time, April 25, 2019, I still do not have my plans. I do have another set of plans I can use, so that is not the bigger issue for me. Some of my issues are the things he said during the meeting; that I should hire Mexicans to do it for me, that he said there was no money in it for him, that he said he'd do the work if I had him do the landscaping. I think there was a more professional way to handle the meeting. It is perfectly acceptable for him to say that he normally does bigger jobs, or that he is unable to do the work for whatever reason. I would totally understand that. I was uncomfortable when he told me I should just hire some Mexicans to do it. Then, I didn't even receive a professional estimate. I received an email with bad spelling and no information. Just "front" and "back" estimates. And had I gotten my plans back after that I wouldn't really have a problem. I would just chalk it to a meeting that didn't work, some unprofessional statements, and I would have gone on with my life. But that fact that I have been trying to get my plans back for a year, with voicemails and emails, and getting absolutely no response from him, has left me no choice but to leave a bad review.

Brad and his crew were great! They were professional and courteous and their work was excellent!

Brad was very responsive and listened to our plan for the landscape we wanted. His crew did a beautiful job prepping the new lawn and installation of irrigation, a nice variety of new plants - and even transplanted 3 plants integrated into the new landscape plan. We are thrilled with our new yard - and our neighbors are quite impressed with it as well! Took several days for him took to return my initial call. He left me a message and said he’d get back to me on Monday, never heard from him again. I guess he did not need the work.

The Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa interrupted work for two weeks, but his crew completed the 2 1/2 month project on a timely basis. His team was very professional, reliable and showed creativity when encountering unexpected challenges. When nurseries could not provide plants on the landscape design, Brad had good suggestions for attractive, alternative plants. Our backyard is a work of art we are proud to share with family and friends.

Brad had excellent ideas about both and he and his team did an outstanding job at a fair price in the time he said it would be done! He bought all the plants and bushes but we bought the pavers as he suggested and had them delivered. His team ripped out the old concrete and had to remove a very old tree trunk they came across which is why the concrete was buckled. This was work they had not anticipated but they got it done. Everyone arrived on time, was very friendly, and worked hard - some days were quite hot too. We would highly recommend Brad Sayre Landscaping!! Brad also does our yard maintenance which we would highly recommend too.

It went great, it took longer than I wanted because the HOA that only meets once a month had to approve the landscape design. Once the design was approved, the job was scheduled within 3 weeks. The job was done in 3 days, my yard was beautiful.

Brad and his crew have done two wonderful jobs for us. They have planted new trees, pruned other trees, adjusted our irrigation system, among other things. Brad is knowledgeable and uses that knowledge to offer helpful advice. He is easy to work with, and he and his crew make sure the job is done quickly and efficiently, arriving on time and making sure everything is cleaned up once they are done.

We live 24 miles away from and new home, so have lots of trust in Brad. He discussed at length with us our thoughts and plans for landscaping. The work is being done in stages and itre next our is planned. Brad is very courteous, punctual and knowledgeable.

We are new to the area, and found the business here on Angie's list. Brad and his team are excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We were very impressed when we first met Brad, and have continued to be the three times he has been here. His training as a horticulturalist is certainly helpful, and he has been willing to help us learn about the new plants and foliage - very different from our years on the east coast. He is also very kind and has a fun sense of adventure and humor - that goes a long way for our family. I would highly recommend him and his business. We look forward to getting to know him, and to having Brad's advice, care, and knowledge around for a long time.

We have decided not to do the work at this time because of the draught and the extra cost of watering in the plants.
