We have been been working with Anna Stevens. It has been a pleasure to work with her. She is very competent and has a very good temperament. She is easy to work with and reasonable. I have no complaints to date. It has certainly been worth the money. She provides good suggestions.

When I started, I had a dollar figure in mind for the remodel of the master bathroom. Alison came in with several floorplans, and the one I liked was the most expensive. It involved moving the entrance door to the bathroom from one wall to another, which allowed us to put in 2 separate vanities - a fabulous layout that never would have occurred to me. But since we both liked that one the best, she did her best to keep the costs down. She recommended a contractor, whose bid came in much higher than I wanted. She then recommended a second contractor, who came in much closer to what I wanted to spend. (The original bid was still about 10% higher than what I had started with). The design was excellent. Once we settled on the contractor, we decided what I could do on my own ( I like the shopping on-line and looking at fixtures part). She recommended a tile contractor, a source for tile, and made suggestions as to what tile would look good. I already had in mind a color scheme between cabinets and countertops. She also ordered the cabinets, recommending veneer instead of solid hardwood. When I was skeptical, she showed me samples and explained how she had worked with these before. They saved me quite a bit and look terrific and are very well constructed. It was a real pleasure working with her. She is very responsive and creative. We had some mis-communications involving the tile guy (who is a great craftsman, but a terrible businessman), a mis-measurement, and a small delayed order. But she resolved the issues as best she could, and none of them were "fatal" flaws. Based on everyone else I've spoken with, these were minor points. Best of all, she has lots of good ideas and is a pleasure to work with. She really tried hard to keep things within my budget and even ran over to another site to pick up extra tiles that would match my job (and my house is at least 15 miles from her office in L.A. traffic). I know that she has a lot of experience in kitchens and baths, but I'm sure she would be good at anything. I would definitely use her again and recommend her for other jobs. More than got my money's worth.

Amy helped me pick out everything: the cabinetry, the flooring, the appliances, so that it has a beautiful, coherent look. I had no idea what I wanted but she guided me step by step. She even helped me pick out a fabulous green granite (at a huge discount since my place is small), and it still gets compliments. She usually does more high-end jobs, but she treated my humble Burbank abode as if it were one of her estates. I couldn't have been more pleased with the process and the results. True, the process is nerve-wracking, but she calmed me down, gave me expert advice and her taste is impeccable. She is like an architect, contractor and great designer all wrapped up in one!

This was a difficult project because we had issues with the counter that had originally been installed in the home and we wanted to make sure that the new counter that Architrave installed would not crack or chip and would work stylistically. We chose European cabinetry that took several months to be manufactured. Architrative delivered on all fronts. They were friendly, helpful and stayed with us throughout the project making sure that every aspect was to our specifications. We were delighted with the results. They made our kitchen better than we could have imagined. I strongly recommend them to anyone wishing to remodel their kitchen or install a new one. They really deliver!

The remodel went very well, and was completed faster than I anticipated. Amy and Anna were extremely professional throughout, and were very accessible. They came by my house several times a week to check on the progress of the project, and were in constant contact with my contractor. They did a fantastic job and I am thrilled with the results. I would definitely work with them again, and I have recommended Architrave to all of my friends.

From the moment my husband and I met Amy and Anna we knew it was going to be an enjoyable experience. They both are pleasant, patient and most importantly, professional. They were always honest in their recommendations of people and products. Most importantly they respected our budget and worked diligently to stay within it and their personal designer fee was included in the price of the cabinets! As designers they have impeccable taste but always made sure they included our suggestions and wishes and designed within our style, which happens to be contemporary. There is always stress with any major construction. However, whenever we had a problem with any aspect of the process, we could call them and they would patiently calm us down and advise us how to handle it. Our kitchen, den and bathroom came out stunning and people comment all the time how beautifully designed it is.

Alison the Kitchen Designer, and the entire Architrave team, was so wonderful, we could have not completed our kitchen remodel without them. The advice, technical design and business contacts proved absolutely essential in our endeavor. Also, the fee paid was reimbursed to us after we purchased cabinets through an Architrave supplier, so actually the cost of their service was free!

This is one that I would put a bunch of gold stars in front of her name.
