"As of 1/7/2011 this customers issues have been resolved to their satisfaction. We are happy to respond to the above issues in the order they were stated: As for our pricing, this customer selected a very expensive product. As most people don't willingly overpay for a product/service, we can only assume that our price was competitive enough for them to sign a contract with our company. Regarding our communication issues, initially numerous emails were indeed sent to this customer and they did not receive them. We never play the "oh you didn't get it" card, as this serves no purpose and we are a professional service organization. Once the server issue on their end was fixed there were no more missed emails. Since, all of our work is custom, we do require a deposit on every job we undertake. This is a standard practice in the remodeling industry. Had they cancelled, prior to us preforming any work, the deposit would have been returned in full as stated on our proposal to them. No one suggested that they would have to pay additional for design services, as this service is provided at no cost to our customers. There were several conversations about what might trigger additional charges, however none were ever charged. The product this customer ordered is normally stocked locally by a distributor. As the manufacturer had indeed moved from N. California to Georgia, the local distributor was out of stock on the material they wanted and we advised them of the expected delivery date. In the end, they choose another product that was available locally and we made the arrangements to immediately pick it up for their project. There were some installation issues and return trips did need to be scheduled. However, we continued to send our people to their home to correct each issue that was noted and were ulitmately able to provide them with a beautiful product. With over 20 years in our industry, we have satisfied thousands of customers. When problems or issues arise, we do not hide or disappear. We address the issues until a viable solution is reached and our customers are satisfied. That is exactly what we have done with this particular customer."
