Worth the money...

Dan owner responded right-away and offered a great price and the next day service. We discussed I had a two-level home and about 15 vents. He said he is giving me a 15 vent package and, plus disinfectant spray for a price of $399 with a 10% senior discount, However when the Tech (Rafael) arrived the next day, he came totally unprepared. He said he needs a ladder, which he did not have, to reach some of the vents that were high, and also to be able to access the attic. He also said, he needs extenders for the air-duct cleaners, which he did not have. Hence he cannot do it that day, and needs to reschedule, as he needs to go back to San Ramon, to get the equipment, too far from my San Jose home. Then he went back to the car and discussed things with Dan . Not sure what he said to Dan but, when I spoke with Dan to reschedule, he was pretty upset with me for not telling him. Not telling what? I have two level home and the air-duct vents are about 10ft above the ground? I did convey that, should that not be expected from a professional cleaner anyway? He blamed for wasting their time and was rude with me. I had no choice but cancel the appointment, as, I also had lost a days work, as I had taken time off to be present for the appointment, I ended-up hiring someone that lived pretty close to me, for about $50 cheaper, who also cleaned my dryer vent for free, Though he gave the appointment two weeks out (which was inconvenient but should be expected from an honest service provider, who had other customers to serve ahead of me. The other one (The Vent Cleaner), came totally prepared, on time, did a thorough job, and very easy to work with. I would hire him again. Unfortunayteky, I had a very bad experience from NORCAL Air Duct Cleaning, and would not recommend them for folks in San Jose.

The young man that serviced my duct work was very prompt and very polite. I would recommend him highly. The whole job took less than an hour. The machine he used was very interesting.

Service was great, and quick without being 'in a hurry'. They called to get approval to use my parking space, AND called again to ask if they could stay there a little while after because my next-door neighbor decided to hire them on the spot. (Do be sure they know in advance about things like stairs or tight spaces, though.)
