They didn't clean the entire house at the same time and tried to charge me for other areas of the house when I thought the price covered the entire house. She was very nice and likable. The parts of the house they cleaned they did well. I would only use them if I could negotiate the price, what is covered and how long it will take. If everything is set upfront and kept then I could use them again in the future.

They cleaned the entire house, even dusting the blinds which I didn't expect. We are so pleased with them and the hard work they performed we are having them clean our home on a regular basis. + -1 moreThey worked hard and did a beautiful job. I’ve never had it so clean. I heard the cost at $225. They said they were always on time. They said they would be there at 12:30, they got here at 1. They did such a good job but they took so long, it took 2 women 6 ½ hours and they were still finishing up and didn’t get things put back the way they said they would. Someone got a call and they had to rush out so there was a couple of things they said they would put away that didn’t get put away. They also did some things I asked them not to do like cleaning a cupboard and I feel like they charged for those things. When I went to write the check they said it was $275; I told them I heard $225. We ended up compromising at $250. I think they should have put it down in writing to avoid communication problems like this.

Description of Work: They came out the same day to provide an estimate. When given the ok to start work they came and cleaned as promised. I was on a deadline so the price may have been high because of it. However, the house was vacant and needed a thorough cleaning. It was approximately 1700 sf and they cleaned it all well. The service included windows, tracks, blinds, and ceiling fans. They also swept out the garage. They used their own supplies and brought ladders so they could reach high places. They kept true to their bid of $425 even though it took several cleaning people 6 hours to do the job! I had some items that needed to be disposed and they offered to remove them for an additional sum of $125. They made multiple trips and got it all done in the needed time frame.

I am most grateful for the work they performed in cleaning up the bathrooms and kitchen. EXCELLENT work!! I will definitely be using Eme Housecleaning Service in the future. In fact, she will be a regular twice a month. To accomodate my schedule, Eme was willing to work on a Holiday, which I was most appreciative. The amount I paid for her services was well worth it. Thank you Angie's List for inlcuding this business on your website.
Description of Work: Eme and her crew provided housecleaning services from top to bottom (4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom residence) - removed cobwebs, cleaned floors (including mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming), and dusted furniture. They also thoroughly scrubbed the entire bathrooms (sinks, tubs, shower area, and toilets) and kitchen area. All cabinets and countertops were wiped clean. The crew made sure mirrors and bathroom light fixtures were spotless. All throw rugs were also vacuumed as requested. In the kitchen, they did not ignore the microwaves and stove top fixtures. Both were wiped spotless. Eme and her crew took nearly 6 hours to clean, which she estimated it would take to complete.

Eme and her assistant did an excellent job as well as cleaning the whole rest of the house, the blinds, etc. I will be having them come back after we are moved in and settled for regular cleaning.

+ -1 moreNo clear cost estimate up front, paid about $40 more than I thought was necessary the first time. Took what seemed to be a very long time to clean the house. We are just not that dirty. I used them again 2 weeks later and refused to pay more than $100 as we did not need the house detailed twice a month, maybe once every 3 months. Needed only light cleaning and no laundry. I dont think this is their business model. Eme is kind, very professional and extremely thorough. I suggest using her service if you are moving out of a rental or before moving into a semi-clean space as her crew will detail out the entire house. If you just want bi-monthy light service you may get more cleaning than needed. If you are very picky and want deep cleaning spend the money on Eme's service.
Description of Work: Detailed entire house, 3 BR, 4 bath. Three people crew took 6 hours. House was mildly dirty to begin with.

+ -1 moreI called in the morning and was able to schedule a cleaning for two days later. WHen I called, I explained that I'd be available if anything else opened up sooner. Well, about an hour later, the gentlemen from the office, Richard, called and said that he could send a couple of maids over right away if I was available. I told him to send them on over and sure enough, 20 minutes later, Eme and Emily were at my house. I don't know what they usually charge but Eme explained to me that since my house was pretty clean to start with, she would only charge me $200 to do the job. This seemed very fair to me because I was expecting to pay around $300-350 based on reviews from other services that I found. I could tell that these women were honest and this was a stand-up business right from the start. Anyway, Eme and Emily immediately started cleaning and worked non-stop for about 6 hours until the job was done. They were extremely thorough and I am extremely pleased. Thanks again!
Description of Work: I had a move-out cleaning service done today by Eme and Emily and they did a fantastic job. They wiped down every surface in the house, thoroughly cleaned all of my bathrooms, vacuumed and cleaned all the carpets and wood floors, and cleaned up my entire kitchen including the microwave, ranges, and ovens. They went through all of my cabinets and cupboards and wiped them out, too. My house is 2250 sq ft and I keep it pretty clean but since I am moving out to rent it, I wanted to have some professionals come and do a thorough job. I couldn't have asked for a better couple of maids. They did an excellent job and worked like crazy the whole time they were here. I found them here on Angie's List and even though they only had 6 reviews, every one of them were outstanding reports. I am going to add to that number and if you need a great job at a very good value, then look no further then Eme and her crew. They were punctual, efficient, fair, and thorough. I give them my highest endorsement and I would recommend them to any of my friends.

+ -1 moreWe are very happy with Eme Housecleaning Service. They have been responsive to calls and flexible to our scheduling needs when selecting dates. For the first visit, two individuals thoroughly cleaned our house from top to bottom. I was amazed at the detailed cleaning that included items like changing our bed linens, cleaning the blinds, dusting light fixtures, etc. I feel like they went above and beyond what most services would include, and all for a great price. They've told me that for subsequent cleanings, I can rotate requests for cleaning "extras" that might not be required as frequently. They are professional, friendly, and hard working. I already have the next monthly visit scheduled!

That very evening I noticed something that I needed to discuss with them. I called EME and they were fairly prompt at coming to take care of the problem. I'll work with them again.

We moved away for a few years and felt like I won the lottery when she agreed to come back to work for us when we moved to Carlsbad almost 3 years ago. I've referred her to family members and friends with huge success. She is a true professional and is flexible to accomodate my schedule as needed. Her work is superior.
