Description of Work: ATD Garage Doors was able to provide us the brand of garage door opener that we requested. We had an existing brand and wanted the same one for the other opener. The others could not give us what we wanted and tried to sell us other unknown brands. Dan promised and delivered what we wanted. I will definitely call on him in the future and recommend him to all our friends.

Description of Work: The spring was defect. I called him, and he came about 3 hours later. He called again about 1/2 hour before he arrived, telling me that he was on his way. The garage door was operating in no time. Really glad that I read some reviews before deciding who to call. It was worthwhile. I certainly can recommend him.

Description of Work: The cable came off my garage door causing it not to close. I found A.D.T.on Angies List located in San Marcos and called the number listed. Dan Heely was busy at the time but said he would be at my home later in the day. He arrived when he said he would, took one look at the door and went right to work. The job took approx. 35-40 minutes and the door worked smoother than it had before the cable came off. Dan Seely is my permenent garage door guy from now on. Frederick Snyder

+ -1 moreWe had another guy come in before Dan..he tried to fool us by quoting $1000 and telling us of all the things that need replacing. Fortunately we saw thru his fear tactics. We then decided to join Angies List and look for a credible provider. We found that in Dan.
Description of Work: Garage door did not work. Dan applied lubrication and coached us on how to perform that in the future. Left us with the name of the lubricant to use. Works perfectly now.

+ -1 moreThe garage door was about 7 years old, and was always noisy and jerky. ATD GARAGE DOOR AND GATE fixed it in less than an hour. It is quiet and works better than when it was first installed by a different company. I found him on Angie's List and wish I hired him 7 years ago to install the door when it was new. I would recomend this company to my best friends.
Description of Work: Garage door was not working properly and was making a lot of noise. Dan Neely serviced door and motor also braced motor.

Dan came to the house the same day I called, inspected the problem, determined that it was prematurely warn out, found the necessary parts to repair it (some under warranty), and then repaired it the next day. He was timely, polite, and creative. The door works great.

We were amazed at his thoroughness and understanding of the work. After just testing the garage door once, Dan indicated that he suspected what ended up being the actual problem. Dan is one of the most knowledgeable people in the this line of business. He is fun to work with and gets the job done quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: Evaluate and repair non-functioning Craftsman Liftmaster garage door opener. Replaced the drive gear and lower bushings for this 11-year-old opener.

+ -1 moreWe had one broken spring. Dan replaced both with a matching pair of springs. The door was going out of adjustment and squeaking badly. After he was done, the door worked smoothly and quietly. Dan worked around our schedule to find a time he could do the work. We are happy with the results.

+ -1 moreUpon examining the custom electrical work on our automated gates and discussing our gate's problem, Dan recommended that we contact the original installer, so we cannot comment on the quality of his work. However, we very much appreciate that he responded quickly to our initial call and then kept his appointment. This is why we called him instead of the original installer! Dan was gracious in not charging us for his time.
