We're probably at Home Depot three times a month, for one thing or another. It's self service. You go in, you help yourself, you take it to the register and you pay for it. Most of the time, when I have asked a person in say electrical a question about something electrical, once you get past the glazed look, you might be able to get directed to where the item is that you can use to explain what you want to know by itself.

I go there a lot. I buy most of the hardware need products there. It's hard to find service people to help you, but once you find one, they are pretty good about giving answers and finding things that I can't find.

The experience was fine. I waited 45 minutes one night on my first experience with Home Depot. I just sat there and waited and waited and nobody helped me. That was a bummer. I went back and thought that I was going to get a decent deal. I had never bought carpet before and didn't know that I had to buy a lot of extra things, so it came out to be too much money so I called and wanted my deposit back because I had to put a $50 deposit down. The girl suggested that I choose a cheaper rug and it worked out. I wasn't happy that they didn't let me know that I had to buy extra.

I would not recommend Home Depot for cupboards because we suffered the biggest mess with them. We spoke to them after 90 days of the cabinets being delivered and it wasn?t pleasant and my husband has had also had very unpleasant exchanges and then he apologized later. The fact that they shipped us the cabinets and some of them were damaged. In another case it appears that they should have sent us glass shelves for a cabinet we had instead of wood. We ordered very fancy cabinets with open wood carving on the front of it and they haven?t sent us glass shelves for both of them. We are trying to put things back in the kitchen and we have no glass shelves for this one cupboard. We spent a lot of money and have had a lot of different delays. For the upper cupboards, we ordered arch doors instead of the square frames and they sent us all the square frames. We had to sent it back and have them send the right thing again. We choose not to go with them for the installation because they were going to charge us over 10,000 for just the installation and every time we talked to them, the added on middleman charges. This has cause us aggravation and also caused both my husband and I anxiety. To have the pantry done we had to go through 3 layers of people. They came and gave us a bid on the installation and I wanted to preserve an arch over my stove and a wall or two and they kept saying that you ought to get rid of it and that it would look so much better. I insisted on having my wall preserved and when the cabinets arrived they said that it would have to be removed because it would take up every bit of space. They were not honest and when they recommended these cabinets.

There was a salesman available at the store at the time of purchase, and he explained the features of the product well. I got the washing machine at a reasonable price. They delivered it on time and were careful with the handling of the product at the time of delivery.

The store is well laid out and they have a large selection of products. The employees were not helpful as I had to request assistance. In my experiences, they are not customer centered nor well- trained. The reason for my continued return is their selection, location and low prices.

Paid $50 for them to come out and measure, then got that back when I ordered the windows, and paid for them at the store. Guy that measured came when he said he would. Then had a hassle of the manufacturer wanting to deliver the windows to the house, when they were supposed to be delivered to the installer. Multiple phone calls to Home Depot. That ended up delaying everything for more than three weeks. Installer was there when promised, and did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves, and very professional. Two of the windows were not as ordered-bathroom window was clear not opaque as ordered, and one that was supposed to be a picture window/fixed glass window was delivered as a window that opened. I decided to live with it.

Home Depot always has a good selection of products, but it's amazing they stay in business. The blinds arrived in a timely manner, however when the installer came to put them up, he opens the box and discovers there's no hardware. I understand that can happen, but you'd think they would have checked to see if everything was in the box when shipped or before coming to my home from the installer. I asked if he could get the hardware from Home Depot. Apparently no, they don't sell it there but the manufacturer could get it to them in about a week. How could anyone ship the blinds without the hardware? When I asked if this happens often, the installer said more than he'd like. Why wouldn't he have extra hardware on his truck for the chance this may happen? Wouldn't you think with the price of gasoline someone would check this out before making a trip to the customer's home? Now I remember why I quit going to Home Depot. Rather than wait for the parts, he retrofitted something.

They were supposed to come on Thursday and did not show up until Friday. I did have this work done in July of this year. The company was slow in coming out to do the work, however, the workmanship was good. Home Depot has a sub-contractor do all the work. He told me they were insured, too.

AFTER BUYING A NEW HOUSE, THERE HAVE BEEN A LOT OF LITTLE REPAIR JOBS THAT MUST BE DONE. HOME DEPOT ALWAYS HAS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR TO GET THE WORK DONE.

I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THE JOB THEY DID IN MY OLD HOUSE THAT I HIRED THEM TO INSTALL THE EXACT SAME CARPETING IN MY NEW HOUSE WHEN I MOVED. THE QUALITY WAS GREAT.
