They came and never provided a written estimate. Just took the $49 credit and never completed the estimate. So disappointing. I will be making a complaint against this "service provider".

Run for the hills from these scam artists....After calling these guys due to a visible crack on the front area of my house right near my foundation I confirmed that someone would come out to give a free inspection and estimate of what needed to be done. Here is what happened. Two guys showed up at my door with a briefcase. They asked to see the trouble area which I walked over to show them. One of the guys said it definitely looked like it was a crack coming from the area near my foundation. Great. Suspicions confirmed. I showed them the grate to the crawl area under my house that was (literally) 1 foot away from that crack and asked them to open it up, shine a flashlight under my house, and confirm as to whether or not they could see the crack in my foundation. They refused, saying that for them to do any more "work" I would need to pay 2k for a proper inspection of my full house. After catching my breath from laughing so hard and picking my jaw up off of the floor, I asked them to assume there was a crack in my foundation-- how much would they estimate it might be to fix it in the best and worse case scenarios. He would not give me a straight answer, citing it was because he hadn't looked under my house. Really. Really? So, not only did I just waste hours of my time taking off of work to meet these guys, they had the audacity to try to charge me 2K for a "full inspection" before telling me what sort of cost I was even maybe going to be looking at. I truly think you might need to be brain damaged to agree to those terms. Thankfully, I had two more free inspections lined up. The amazing people from the other companies I called took 3 minutes to open the grate, shine a flashlight on the area, and tell me I had a hairline crack in my foundation. One guy gave me an estimate of around 4K for the work, the other guy told me it was not necessary at all to do any work, but that I should remove the tree that was pushing up against my foundation causing the crack. 2K saved on an "inspection". Thanks for nothing. Will not ever recommend these people again, and will actively tell my home owning friends not to use you guys.

Their add did not say they had a minimum amount of work needing done, so I was not able to use them for my small patch of stucco needing to be patched.

All construction is being performed in a competent manner by workers that obviously are skilled and know what they were doing. My contact with the contractor is Ozzie who comes by the site almost daily to check on progress and is always responsive when I need to contact him. All issues, questions and concerns that I have had have been quickly and amicably resolved by Ozzie and his foremen. Construction began in mid September and is scheduled to end in Late January. In spite of a few change orders it looks like we will make that date. Good thing because if the weather prognosticators are correct, el nino should be bringing lots of rain by then.
Description of Work: Demolished existing garage and built new one approx. 7 feet higher to bring the garage elevation above street elevation to correct a drainage problem. Replaced existing low pitched, shed type roofs with steeper pitched gable roofs for entire house primarily with scissor type trusses. The scissor type trusses will permit future vaulted ceilings. Extensive earthquake measures and retrofitting which included Hardy panel shear walls, shear walls, under-pinning and hold-downs were performed. A new HVAC system was installed and new concrete steps, walkway, ramp and retaining walls were constructed in front of the house.

We had green planet remodeling out to paint the exterior of our house last October. While they were here we found out they offer many other remodeling services so we asked our representative to provide us with an estimate for the bathroom. He took some measurements asked us a lot of questions as for what materials and colors we want to use and came back the day after with a beautiful 3-D design that showed how our bathroom will look like after the remodeling. I must say that made the process easier. We signed the agreement and they started the work the day after and finished it two days before the finished dated that was agreed on the agreement. I love our new bathroom thank you guys. I will definitely recommend this company.

I hired Green Planet Remodeling to do my kitchen remodeling after I saw the great job they did at my neighbor house few blocks away from me. Also they provided me with a free design that helped me a lot and solved lots of debate stuff I had for the colors and materials that I wanted to use. Johnny was very helpful, patience and very knowledgeable of every step of the process, he was very easy to communicate with and made sure the workers locked the property at the end of the day (since we were at work during the day). I am definitely going to call this company again. Great experience and thank you for my beautiful kitchen!

I had a room addition of 400 Sq ft added to my house and exterior and interior painting! Thank you so much green planet for making this process a good experience for us! I love the design their representative did for us, my house is much more spaces and the kids do not need to fight lol! I am very impressed with their honesty as they started th process with a research so see if and how much can I add into my property before they started doing the blue prints ( like other contractors suggested)! They left the job site clean after every working day, they were easy to communicate with and they helped me raise the value of my property! Thank you Green Planet Remodeling! Will definitely use you guys for future remodeling.

Solid team that knows what they are doing. The team at Green Planet Remodeling helped me renovate 2 bathrooms - and remedied a lot of the shoddy work that was lurking behind the wall (thanks to my crappy builder for those surprises). Good guys that were efficient and professional through the whole experience. They even provided me with a 3D Design for both of the bathrooms that another company wanted to charge me for! Easy to communicate. Highly recommend!

E.Z and his team provided extremely professional, thorough service. Our bathroom looks just like the design E.Z. made for us! He originally estimated that the project would take three weeks due to the mold removal. Instead, he and his crew finished it earlier. Throughout the process, E.Z. was very communicative about what would need to happen and what was the next step. Luckily, the only side effect we experienced was great work. It's a relief to know that we've got a trustworthy, reliable source for our future renovation. I highly recommend using them!

Jonathan was very quick to respond to our emails and phone calls and texts. He kept us updated throughout the process of remodeling our home which included: kitchen, bathroom, exterior paint and roofing. Every timeline and commitment was met or exceeded. Without fail. We love our new home and the new design he did for us, quality AND service were most excellent!!! Already referred them to my mother-in law. Great company.

Went really well. EZ was patient and really went above and beyond in terms of making sure we were happy with everything. I had 3 estimates till I decided to use Green Planet Remodeling. The representative that came over was very knowledgeable about the whole process, he designed for us a 3D design for free, he helped us getting appliances and material for much cheaper than the stores, helped us choose colors and materials and answered our phones, texts and e-mails 24/7. I chose this company because I am a very busy individual and I do not have the time to be home when they were there doing the remodeling and as promised they kept everything clean and returned the house key to a lock-box that we used at the time of the remodeling. I could not be happier with the results, my bathroom and kitchen look exactly like the design they did for me when we met. i highly recommend and will definitely hire again!

Nina were extremely prompt in contacting me to set up an appointment. She told me that the minimum job was $2,500 - fine. She told me I would have to give them 1 hour of my attention for the appointment - fine. She told me that no other contractors could be on the property - first, that's none of her business, but whatever, but I did tell her I had a handyman on site doing things in the house. Nir arrived promptly. I showed him the area I wanted to have a side patio installed. He measured the area and explained the process to me. He also told me more about the company, so I showed him the side fence I wanted to replace and the curb area that needed to be installed. He measured that out but told me he couldn't give me an estimate right away on that because he needed to check the cost of the fencing. He noticed some of the work we were doing and gave us a few store suggestions to find chair rails for older houses. He then showed me an unprofessional estimate - it was sketched out on notebook paper and he didn't have a copy for me. He told me the cost for the side patio only and that he would get back to me the next day with information about the fence job. He mentioned that scheduling for the job would be 2 to 2-1/2 weeks out and he'd love to piggyback the job onto one they were doing nearby in Lakewood. He then stated that he knew I probably was getting bids from other companies - I wasn't - and that I may need more time to review but he wanted my answer within 30 minutes for the job. I told him I would need to speak to my husband who was in a class and I couldn't get a hold of him for an hour. He said fine and left without giving me a copy of the proposal. I texted Nir an hour later to find out the total area the side patio would be covering; he called me back because he didn't understand my question. I reiterated the question and he gave me an answer. The next day I received notification from Angie's List that I was the one who cancelled the job with them. I contacted Angie's List directly and stated that wasn't the case because I was still waiting for an estimate on the fence job. I contacted Nina in the office and she said, "Oh, they must have confused your job with the other Barbara we did an estimate for yesterday. I'll contact Nir to get the information for your job." Based on my initial Angie's List post (a week after I called the office), Nir contacted me to say we must have had a misunderstanding. He thought I was saying the price was too high when I was requesting the square footage of the patio. He offered to finish the estimate but I have already received one on the fence but asked that he finish the rest of the concrete pricing. He called me back within 20 minutes with a price.
Description of Work: They came out to give me an estimate for a side patio and during the course of the appointment, the gentleman informed me they could also do vinyl fencing and pour a concrete curb along the alley/backyard of the property.

The existing roof had quite a bit of damage, dry rot and termite damage, so the old roof was torn off and boards were replaced. The new torch down roof went on in short order and the coating was applied. The whole process took no more than three days! Nir Gafter, my contractor, was incredibly patient and informative throughout the entire process. He always offered me choices on materials and pricing and took a lot of time explaining the processes and materials so I felt confident in my choices. The crew was excellent! Cheerful, professional and very neat! The re-pipe was trickier. My house is on a slab and I had a hot water leak under the bathtub 5 years ago. The old galvanized steel pipes were un-fixable and I had no money at the time so I opted to have copper pipes run over the roof, it was the cheapest option. With the new roof work being done I decided to have the pipes put into the ceiling. There was just enough room to do this and the plumber and his crew did an amazing job! It wasn't easy running the pipes into the ceiling and the walls, but they did minimum damage when cutting the holes in the ceiling and walls. They covered everything and worked very neatly! Nir patiently walked me through this process as well. The re-pipe took 5 days from start to finish and I couldn't be happier! Now my cold water doesn't come out blazing hot! There was also an electrical conduit that ran across the roof to the laundry room and Nir's electrician took care of that, running the line in the ceiling along with my new pipes. Nir even managed to have insulation blown into the small space available in my ceiling! The stucco and dry wall crew filled all of the holes and sanded the plaster smooth in only 2 1/2 days! From start to finish the job went just as Nir said it would! He provided everything in writing, the payments were scheduled in such a way that they kept pace with the work being done, and he was very responsive whenever I had any questions or concerns! With the completion of the jobs, I got a nice print out of the break down of the work and payments. I'm super happy!
Description of Work: My 20 year old rock tar roof needed replacement and my plumbing needed a re-pipe. I now have a beautiful new torch down roof with an insulated uv protectant coating and brand new plumbing.

This provider offered $55 worth of stucco services for $50. The catch is, there is a minimum of $3000 per job. This was not mentioned anywhere, and I only found out after forking over the fifty bucks. While I ostensibly am due a refund, I resent the fact that my time was wasted on this.

I called six companies to give me an estimate since I had bad experience in the past with remodeling. From the first moment I called their office, I was asked for my e-mail address so they can send me a Welcoming package which I didn't understand what do they need it for but when I received the e-mail, I was surprised to find out that they were on that TV show Flip This House on Channel A&E, I also received customer's testimonials and a long list of references (I received only 2-5 from the rest of the companies). My appointment was scheduled for 2 days after and the guy that showed up (Jonathan) was actually one of the owners and also a designer. He provided me with a free design which other company wanted to charge me $395 for it, he was very knowledgeable, detailed and easy to communicate with. Great Service, great performance! Will definitely use them again!

We are currently in the middle of construction and couldn't be happier during this stressful time. Nir Gafter is our contractor and he has been fantastic through the project thus far. Nir makes himself available at all times of the day/night and is super helpful working around our busy schedule. He does not seem to be annoyed by my texts or outlandish requests. Nir does not use the word NO. Everything can be a YES, he simply attaches a price to that YES. It is refreshing to have a contractor who will give you the cost without sugar coating or trying to use cheap materials. I have been through a remodel before so I knew what to expect. Nir and his team have exceeded my expectations. I graded them a B on price: They are not the cheapest out there however I will use them again. I do not have to worry about anything. I don't have to check on them, they check on me. I feel extremely comfortable that the job will be completed correctly and look amazing when it is done. I am so happy with my choice and I will leave an update when the entire job is completed. I'm already thinking about remodeling more rooms and this job is not finished yet.
Description of Work: We just bought a 1970's townhouse and are updating and moving a few things around. The kitchen was blocked off from the rest of the house so we are tearing down walls to give it a more open feel. The master bath needed to be upgraded desperately. We tore everything down to the studs and are moving plumbing and electrical. We are installing a door-less shower and tub "wet area". We gutted both the kitchen and bathroom down to the studs and are starting over.

I gave them an F because I had to "Fire" them midway through the project. While the 3D rendering was very nice, the bottom line is that the quality of work performed was so poor that I had to let them go and hire someone else to finish the job and correct their mistakes. The crew they brought in to prep, spackle and paint the walls were the absolute worst I have ever seen. I've hired better painters from the Home Depot parking lot. I brought someone else in to do it ALL over again. Also, since the painters did not cover the floor properly, they got paint stains all over the expensive new tile that had not yet been sealed. It was difficult to get out all of the paint stains. The guys on the tile crew were like bulls in a china cupboard. The did a lot of damage to the walls when removing the old baseboard. They also cut a wire to the alarm system. They ran low on the tile for the bathroom (even though they provided me with the exact amount to order) and instead of asking me to buy more tile, they decided to install a 3" baseboard where we previously had a 6" baseboard. The painters then came in and painted over the marks on the wall from the old baseboard without doing any prep work whatsoever. The result was that you could see exactly where the old baseboard was. I was actually shocked at how bad it looked. The tile crew also had problems laying the new tile. I had one area of the floor where the tiles were so uneven, we would catch our feet on the tile and trip. I had to have an entire section redone. They also used the wrong thin-set for the glass shower tile, despite a set of instructions in every box of tile explaining what thin-set needed to be used. After the project was done, the glass tile started cracking. I brought in a few people to look at it and they all recognized the problem immediately. The shower had to be completely demo'd and reinstalled again. To be fair, they did some things well. I am very happy with the cabinetry they installed in the garage. Also, Jonathan and Nir were pleasant and generally conducted themselves professionally, even when I let them go. That being said, they did not respond about the shower that had to be completely redone. Again, the quality of work work was very poor. A picture is worth a thousand words and I have lots of pictures of the finished product as examples if anyone would like to see them.
Description of Work: Renovated a bathroom, a laundry room, added cabinetry in the garage and replaced approximately 2,000 feet of tile.

Once in a while we have to deal with a costumer that try to take advantage of the system and when put in place, keeps on trashing our reputation just because he/she thought that we will roll over and let it happen. Mam, we are always up to our word. We actually delivered more than agreed on. You TRIED to force us to give you the 2 Jumbo quartz slabs as a gift while it was clear from day one verbally and in writing that you will purchase the slabs and we will take care of everything else for you. I am sorry it didn’t work out. Out of respect, I will not tell any other unlucky contractor that you may contract in the future not to engage in any contract with you… Finally, the work came out beautiful. i didn't read any complaint that you had about the final product. so... there is light somewhere after all. Thank you for your Business

We needed a portion of a load bearing wall removed to open up the space between living and dining rooms. Jonathan scoped out the project, provided a detailed and reasonable quote and got to work. Dealing with a very old house creates many unique challenges, both structural and cosmetic. Jonathan and Oz worked closely with a structural engineer to build a temporary wall to support the 2nd floor while the original wall was removed and a large structural beam installed. They then installed the sheer wall and started with the finishes, attempting to match 90-year old molding and paneling. Although the job took longer than expected, the results were outstanding. Oz, and his highly skilled team, came up with excellent solutions to some very touchy finish issues with the moldings and hardwood floors. Upon completion, the space looks more original then it did when we purchased the home 5 years ago!
