We had an extensive punch list that Mark knocked out in about 3-4 days. We were extremely satisfied.

He was very professional and I would certainly use him again.

That was over two weeks ago and to date no reply from this individual. Please note that this is not the first instance of a NO REPLY. Unacceptable.

Attaching the objects to the wall required special fasteners which the provider had in his truck. The work was performed in record time and the cleanup (which is important in a toddler's bedroom) was thorough.

Excellent. Mark was very responsive to my email and always showed up on time and when he said he would. In fact to get the project moving along he brought someone else in to help who was also great. He took great care in completing everything and was quite meticulous. He was also very flexible with my schedule and worked around having a dog in the house. I will definitely use him again.

He came on time and took measurements. He worked quickly and the door fit very well.

He first came and gave me an estimate. There were 3 visits. He went and got the door and then replaced it. He did a great job. He charged less than another quote that I got. That guy said it was beyond the scope of what he could do. I still need to paint it but it looks great. We did get our wires crossed. Basically he did come when he said he was going to come but getting to that point was a little tricky. I am going to use him again.

He is very competent and his professionalism and cleanup are very good. The service was excellent. I think he does a very good job.

He was here for few hours. He nailed one of the book shelves too hard and did not tell us about it. It was assembled furniture and we found a hole in it. He was then working on the other bookshelf and he left the work incomplete. I did not call him back after that. He should have told me that he had damaged the shelf. He is not consistent. I will not use him again in the future.

I called twice and left two messages. Did not get a return call.

Mark is reliable and a fine handyman. He takes direction well and also applies his own creativity and intelligence. He's communicative, professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

Mark was very friendly, efficient and professional and fixed all the problems I had for him. We had a slight hic cup for our initial appointment due to double booking but Mark came the next day and was sincerely apologetic. I also appreciated Mark pointing out some other dry rot that I had not noticed, this is not work he would do so he wasn't not just bidding for new work. I would definitely hire Mark again.

I received this referral for painting for my apt. Mark Adams is a handyman who charges $50 per hour. Painting my large one bedroom apt is outside the scope of his work. Please amend his listing.

Mark was creative, friendly, and professional. He went out of his way to get the parts I needed for various aspects of the jobs I needed completed. I will definitely be using him again.

He is great. I have used him for seveal projects.

Mark checked it out, said he could do it in a day. He proposed making a support out of redwood, laying laminate glass over it and sealing it with silicone or whatever. I ordered and paid for the glass, Mark picked it up on the way to the house on the day agreed to. He brought the other supplies -- wood, etc. -- at the same time. Taking out the old overhang went fairly quickly, but when he put the glass up to fit it into the wood framing he'd built, it turned out there was slight angle to the walls, meaning the glass fit fine at the front edge, but was too wide in the back. I had never thought to measure both ends, but Mark realized he could make it work if he could get 1/2-inch cut off. Vacarezza Glass, where I had bought the piece, had no one in the shop who could make the cut at the moment, but Mark called and found someone at Sunset Glass who could. He took it in his truck when he went to lunch, paid for the cut, and came back and finished the job. In the end, he worked so well, he finished early. He billed for his time, plus reimbursement on the cut, and we're very happy with the result. I'd call him again in a heartbeat.

We are very pleased with the work, and feel like Mark provided good value for the price. Once he had signed on to do the work, he was on time and professional at every visit. He worked at an hourly rate, rather than guaranteeing a fixed price, and came in on the lower end of his estimate.

We have just moved into an old Victorian home in San Francisco. Immediate safety needs were a grab bar over the tub and attaching tall bookcases to the wall. We called Mr. Adams based on Angie's list reports. He responded promptly and arrived on the agreed date on time. He was properly prepared to drill and mount the grab bar which he did beautifully. The tall bookcases were another matter. He felt the restraints we had purchased were inadequate and recommended against installing them. He examined the placement area and described a different method to more solidly anchor the bookcases. He did not have enough lumber on his truck to do all four so we postponed that job. Instead he installed three sliding shelves in the kitchen cabinets. He was pleasant and very direct. We will use him again.

He is timely, professional, very helpful, personable, and honest. The whole experience was great.

This job was to replace an over-the-range microwave oven that stopped working (after 16 years) for my rental property. I left a message with Mark about the job and to get an estimate. He responded the same day. I purchased the microwave and requested it to be picked up at the store located near my property. Mark offered to pick it up on the scheduled day of the job. However, he had to reschedule the installation because the microwave was not released to him. (I failed to leave his name as the pick up person). Aside from the setback, the job went very well. According to my tenant, Mark was prompt, tidy and professional. He also took the old microwave for disposal, which was very nice. Mark is kind, friendly and efficient. My tenant and I are very pleased with his work. He is highly recommended.

It has been a really positive experience, starting when I first called Mark. Mark called me back very promptly, was very cordial and nice, explained that he was booked up for a week or so, but made time in his schedule to come by and see what we needed done. This was important to me, because I don't live in the flat full-time and wasn't going to be there when he actually did the work. He called as he promised he would before I left the city and booked a day to come over. My husband was the only one there when Mark actually did the work, but Mark and Chris showed up at the agreed-upon day and time and accomplished all of the tasks we'd asked Mark to do. It was very important to me to find someone who would be willing to make himself available as needed for miscellaneous jobs in the future, which Mark is very willing to do. All in all, a very, very positive experience, and I am very happy to have found Mark through Angie's List.

Mark has been one of the best workmen I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He's extremely responsible and professional, easy to work with, and a good craftsman. I highly recommend him.
