DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO!! Took twice as long, didn't clean up, unprofessional painters (started yelling at each other in my kitchen), horrible lines, paint on fireplace, paint on light switches, didn't put back all switch plates, painted air registers, paint drops on my new floor (ended up having to replace a couple vinyl planks). Mixed up the semi-gloss and eggshell paint. Some walls were painted semi and other eggshell. They never finished the job as quoted, as I asked them to stop and not do the doors after the horrible experience of the ceiling and walls. Detailed experience: I got a quote from this place to paint the ceiling, common areas (living room/family room, hallways) 2 bathrooms and the doors inside my house. A guy named Wayne came out and gave a quote a lot cheaper than the 2 other companies I got quotes from. Feeling like maybe I missed something with Wayne, I called Wayne and we walked through the quote again. To my surprise we only miscounted the number of doors. He resent me a revised quote that was still 20% cheaper than anyone else. He quoted about a week to complete the job. I took a risk and hired them and his ended up being the worst experience I have ever had with any company. When the painters showed up my wife and I felt uneasy. Painters immediately started disagreeing about how to start the job. By day 3 of the job, it blew into a full-fledged loud argument (one threatened to quit) and my wife felt scared. So she called me and I left work to come home to find out what is going on. The job supervisor, Mark, was there when I showed up and he was talking to the painters. He just apologized and said the painters were roommates and then left. On day 5, they still were not done with the bathrooms or walls and haven't even touched the doors yet. I asked them to finish up everything, except the doors so we can have this company out of our house. So they said ok and said they would deduct $500 from the total. They charged $100 a door in the quote and we had 13 doors. So after everything I mentioned above they tried to screw me over on the final price!!! After arguing with them for awhile they only would take $900 off the total price. At the end of day 5, they said they were done with everything except the doors and the painters left. On the same day, they charged my credit card the remaining balance without the job being completed. The next day, I called Mark asked them to come by and look at the paint job as it was not done. He said he could not come out for a couple days because he has other jobs at the moment. On day 8, I walked Mark through the house and asked if he is proud of the job, he said he wasn't. There was semi-gloss and eggshell mixed all throughout the house along with the issues I mentioned in first paragraph. On day 10, a couple painters showed up to fix the issues. They did fix some of it but the painters said they could not finish it all that day. I called Mark and he said he could not get anyone else out there to finish the job until the next week as he has other jobs to complete (not my problem). I said you already charged my card so I am going to call the credit card company and reverse the charges. Miraculously, 20 minutes after threatening to reverse the charges, he was able to find someone to come out and work the next day. After they left on day 11, I ended up spending a couple days doing touch up just to get it respectable. I also had to replace some vinyl flooring planks as I couldn't get the paint off. Worst experience ever with a company.

They did a great job. Super helpful when I changed my mind and switched colors after they’d already began. Touched up every single nit picky spot I found. It looks awesome and I’m very happy.

We approached The Painting Company of San Diego with a modest budget and impossible timeline. Our closing was delayed so we ended up with only four days to get our home painted before the movers arrived. The Painting Company accepted the challenge and did a very professional job in the short time allotted. We will definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job prepping, painting and cleaning up afterward all at a very fair price. Will definitely use them again for future projects
